The restaurant setting is beautiful and we sat outside with a beautiful view of the mountains. Our server was friendly but not very efficient and we had to ask for things more than once. My husband ordered the alfredo with chicken and it was very watery and the garlic bread it came with was soggy and sitting in the alfredo and also burnt. He made a comment to the server and she said that’s how it comes. My potato soup was cold and what I was eating for my dinner but she brought it out early so I was done by the time the rest of the dinners came out. My daughters ordered the salmon and kids quesadilla which they said were good. We also had the chocolate layered cake dessert which was very small for the price. It didn’t look like the picture someone else posted for it so maybe it changed over time. Overall, beautiful place to go for the atmosphere, but wouldn’t eat there for dinner again.

We had the Caesar salad with chicken and the prime rib sandwich. Both plates were very good and we would order again. Service was great.

My steak was over cooked so I sent it back. It took 30 minutes to get my medium rare steak replaced. I had already eaten my microwave tasting baked potato. Dinner rolls are nothing more than Sister Schuberts rolls heated up. When asking our sever about certain food items she didn’t recommend most items we asked about. We should have left at that point because she was right. Well cook our own food at the cabin next time we come back.

Melissa was an excellent server. My Fish & Chips meal came with salad and dinner rolls. The entire meal was absolutely delicious, especially the to-go carrot cake! The scenery from the outdoors dining area was incredible. Sounds of nature was amazing too!

Service and food was excellent! People walking in the loft area and looking down into the restaurant takes away from the ambience. Prices are reasonable.

Food came out burned- server took it back and kitchen said they didn’t want to re-do it because it would come out the same. Two people had this same dish (chicken parm) and it was black. Server offered to take off bill but didn’t. Pricey for what it is, but it’s convenient if you are staying onsite which we were. Definitely wouldn’t go just for dinner- but after hiking all day luckily my crew could eat anything. Burgers were way over cooked too.

We had a 730pm required reservation dinner on a Monday. Wr put in our order immediately and were asked about what appetizer, entree and dessert we wanted all at the same time, which would be fine under normal circumstances. We waited over 20 mins for our drinks and another hour for our appetizer of deep fried, low grade, “cauliflower bites.” Our entrees which consisted of a $45 12 oz NY strip and ~$30 crab Mac and cheese was absolutely flavorless. The strip was ordered medium and had been brutally overcooked to gray leather, it wasn’t even edible. The Mac and cheese was microwaved and also quite flavorless. As we waited an hour and 20 mins for our food, we did ask for refills on our drinks, however, my husband went and got them for us because the wait was so painfully long. We were informed that their refrigerators had lost power long enough for their ice cream to be thrown away, which made me really concerned about the Mac and cheese I ate, as it was clearly a premade situation. The staff largely just wandered aimlessly with the exception of the 2 working the outdoor space. Our waiter was friendly enough but was obviously new and/or out of his depth. We’ve eaten at so many restaurants of various grade and this is by and large the worst experience I’ve ever had. Do not waste your time or money at this restaurant.

My husband and I ate outside on a beautiful evening at Rock House Restaurant. Unfortunately there was a wedding reception going on at the same time elsewhere at the lodge. Dj seemed to turn up the volume on the energetic songs so much we had trouble talking to each other. We ordered burgers, medium rare and medium. When they finally arrived, we were very hungry so we immediately took a bite to find out that both burgers were well done and dry. We were too hungry to send them back and the waitress hadn't checked in with us on a timely basis so we almost finished our meals. We complained to the server whe she did arrive and she could see that the meal was overdone. She reduced the price of our bill and gave us a free dessert which was a refrigerated ball of chocolate dough.

My 2 pork chops we way way overcooked. They should not have been served out from the kitchen. They also served mashed potatoes when I asked for baked. The wife’s meal was served not heated well. The potatoe was quickly rectified by the server. Our complimentary dessert was a small broken up piece of apple pie. Server told us up front they were out of the other 6 deserts. Not the best experience.
