Situated at the historic David Braley and Nancy Gordon Rock Garden, RBG’s newest restaurant features an eclectic menu that boasts fresh, locally sourced ingredients, many picked straight from our gardens! The Bistro’s outdoor patio provides an inspiring bird’s-eye view of the garden’s rejuvenated lower bowl, a perfect spot to relax.
As seasons change, kitchen staff work closely with RBG gardeners to incorporate home-grown ingredients into your garden-to-table culinary experience.

**We currently do not accept reservations for our patio, the patio is on a first come, first served basis.**

                        Rock Garden Bistro is a lovely place for lunch. Sit inside or outside..make sure you have reservations. The RBG uses a 3rd party booking system for reservations. I was frustrated when I could not change the reservation from 6 to 10 individuals through Open Table. The frustration continued as the Bistro is only open Wednesday to Sunday and it's impossible to get through on the phone. I literally had to go to Guest services in person and then be at the Bistro when it opened the day of the reservation to ensure they could accommodate the larger group. The day was special..a celebration of life for my Mom ..the venue and experience were perfect.

                        Limited menu but all looks good. We had the mezza plate and steak frites, both great! Nice setting out on patio and overall a tremendous value for a quality lunch in a nice setting! Service was satisfactory, not impressed with 20+ min wait after finished Still would Highly recommend!

                        We were there for a beverage and light snack which were both good and well=priced. Atmosphere was casual and pleasant with excellent service.

                        Excellent service and amazing food with fresh ingredients. The server was very nice and patient with our group as we had to adjust our order. Recommend to reserve the table ahead of time.

                        The food was terrible and the waitor had no awareness that we were with a baby . A serious overhaul I'd needed. Especially as RBG members this is brutal.

                        We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Rock Garden-always a favourite place. The trout was especially good! Our server was very attentive and outgoing, adding to our experience. We will definitely be back!

                        Dined alone . Requested patio dining online on open table. When I arrived the patio was closed. Ordered steak frites. Server was young and inexperienced. Didn’t bring a steak knife with the steak. Didn’t bring ketchup for the fries. Shouldn’t have to ask for those things. There was flavoured butter on top of the steak which was very strong and spicy. I was able to scrape most of it off but some had melted into the meat already & it left a bad taste on the meat. The online menu mentioned mushroom brandy cream sauce but that wasn’t the case. The printed menu that day said steak frites w Café Paris . I asked what Café Paris was- The server said it would be a sauce but it wasn’t a sauce- it was flavoured butter. I hated it. It ruined my meal. Had I known it was going to be on top of the steak I would have asked for it to be brought on the side or eliminated altogether. 2 stars.

                        We three enjoyed our day at the gardens very much! It was quite cool but warmed up by the.tu.r we had lunch ch at the Rock Garden bistro. Food & service was better than expected! My friends would love to come again!! Thank you for your hard work!
