Food was good and the server tried his best but they were under staffed , it took a long time to place our initial our 15 min for the beer and another 15 min after the whole party arrived and food took forever about 45 min to come.
Best value for good food. Relaxed environment with excellent staff.
I booked my reservation, on line. The hostess did not see my reservation. I showed her my confirmation email & she sat us right away.
Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was great. Accommodated a large party with short notice. Thank you.
Ordered rib eye steak was good mashed potatoes were cold I also ordered a wedge salad to have before my meal got my wedge after my steak and still got charged for the wedge
Picked Rock Bottom at Random to try while we were in San Jose. Was pleased with the in house beer selection as well as the food. Had read reviews about slow service but we had great service. Just the right amount of checking in. Will go back again at some point.
A little hard to find at first in the shopping center.
Food was good but service was not good. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our table even with our reservation. The waitress charged us for the wrong wine (a more expensive wine) and charged for 2 of the same entree when we only got one.
Six ladies came to have lunch and 4 of us ordered coffee keokes. The waitress came after 20-25 minutes with plain coffee and cream on the side. We explained these drinks are made with hot coffee,brandy, kahlua and whipped cream on top. She left and 20 minutes or so comes back and the coffee is cold. Then when we got the bill these drinks were almost $9.00 each!!! When we asked her about the price she said "I don't make the prices". Overall the service for our food and drinks took 45-60 minutes and we arrived at 11:30. Several weeks ago we cam to this restaurant and were told we couldn't order off the Happy Hour menu cause we weren't sitting in the right section!!! Last time I will be back!!!
Fried food was way over cooked. Hopefully just a one-off case, but I wouldn't order anything fried again there.
The worst. This restaurant chain considers customers to be an inconvenience. We won’t be bothering them again. OpenTable should audit Rock Bottom—they have a habit of dropping reservations.
I love Rock Bottom and I have been a few times. The food is always good but the service when we went was crap. They even told us when we got there that is was a slow night so the food should come out quick. It took forever to take our order, my grandpa ordered wings and the server didn't order them since she said 'I wasn't sure you wanted them' idk what that even means but when when she brought out all other appetizers and we realized there was no wings we ordered them and they came 45 minutes later. 45 minutes for some wings. My brother ordered a beer and 25 minutes later he had to get up and go ask where it was. Stuff came out in strange orders and the waitress never seemed to be around. Rock Bottom is usually great but that night the service was crap. I would guess the server was new and not very good at her job. My husband got so annoyed he didn't even order dinner.
Great place and nice ambiance. I love the staffs here, they are friendly and knowledgable. The food and the drinks are great!
Thank you to the staff at Rock Bottom. Just celebrated my daughter’s birthday here and the server and wait staff were great! I can’t wait to go back to try more of the entrees.
Whole experience was unacceptable. Arrived, and our table was not ready. Very few diners, would have expected reserved tables to be identified by staff. Ordered cocktails, my wife swears there was no alcohol in her's. Ordered nacho's as a appetizer, was decent, no small plates offered. Platter was never bussed, stayed in the middle of the table entire meal. Waitress seemed new, no checking back for drink refills, reorders, how was the food, etc. Long time to get check. It might have just been New Year's Eve, but my guess is this is pretty standard, a lot of empty tables, and available reservations. Should have known.
