Rock Bottom Brewery Restaurant - Orland Park Ratings and Reviews
Hostess tonight was not very friendly. Then we had a new server who was in training. She was not very good at all (could not find items on iPad, could not answer questions, spent a lot of time taking our order, could not be found, stated that she was a vegan & could not answer questions about the meats). Drinks were all ice & nothing but a sip or two of a cocktail for $10-12 each. The steaks, burgers & sides were delicious. Will have to stick to beer/wine in the future & hopefully they get the staff (hostess & wait-staff) trained quickly.
I normally don’t dine at s place like rock bottom, but was getting together with work friends who wanted to go. I must say, the service provided by Sessily made me want to write this review! Sessily was one of the best servers I’ve ever encountered on all my years of dining out! I hope rock bottom management will recognize Sessily in some special way, because she made our dining out experience truly exceptional! Now onto the food, the chicken avocado sandwhich was great, but really needed more avacdo slices added, and the fries were way too spicy & salty for my taste. But, again the whole experience was made by Sessily!
We go here because of convenient location and not too expensive. Reliable food, good beer choices. Funny, we are always seated at same table each time we go no matter how empty the place may be. The most undesirable place in the room. Even after commenting on this to server, no response was given , no offer to change table location.
This has left a negative impression that will be considered the next time we choose local dining options.
The pretzel crusted chicken was not good at all & was very salty (breaded chicken with a thick cheese sauce & little broken pretzels thrown on top), The low-cal chicken/veg was good, the artichoke/crab dip was served burnt (we usually like this), the shrimp appetizer was over cooked (hard). Tonight was a total miss on the food ~ we did not complain because the service was good.
Ambiance was great. Good place for those in our party who like craft beers as they will give you a sample before you order. Food was less than adequate tasting, very little steak in fajitas, pretzel crusted chicken was thin breaded chicken with broken pretzels thrown on top, but one meal, just a steak was good. Will not go back!
My husband and I were very pleased with service. We had a really sweet and attentive waitress. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I don't think the waitress knew but she gave great service. The food was awesome as well. It was our first time visiting and we will definitely come back with our children. The jalapeño pretzel breadsticks were yummy. Not too hot but flavorful with the dip.
Had a great evening. It was my first time there. My brother is a marine and was home over Labor Day weekend. He loved the food and so did my friends and I. There was great food options. I got the pretzel crusted chicken, I loved it. The server was very attentive and was able to make all the substitutions to our meals. I forgot his name. I'll definitely be back with my boyfriend. Keep up the great work. I'm glad I made a reservation since it was busy. Great atmosphere there. I live about 30 minutes away but the drive was well worth it. I'll be back soon.
We waited for approximately fifteen minutes to place our order, because our server had to ask the manager about our coupon for my birthday. We waited for our entrees for 36 minutes. Spoke with the manager, when he helped deliver our meal. He said I bet you waited a long time for this to arrive. I mentioned that we ordered two tacos and chicken fajitas, not exactly something that requires more than a half an hour to prepare. Not enough staff on hand to accommodate even half of the number of people waiting to eat. I will not be returning.
Dinner service was extremely slow bringing out dinner for a part of two on a Saturday night that wasn't busy. It took over 40 minutes to get my food before a manager even noticed our food wasn't out. Overall not a good first experience here. I drove hour and half away expecting it to be better. I can say I won't be back here.
