Brought our food but no utensils
Food was really disappointing. Cook missed multiple things. Left the sauce off the burger. Left the mangos out of the mango chicken. After asking, was finally told they were out of mangos. Offered to make me a new meal or a discount for their mistakes. It had already taken so long that we just took the discount, which ended up being a measly 25% off. Went here because they were supposed to have live music, called first to be sure. Musicians didn't show up. Sorry we picked this place for our last night in Nashville.
One of the pioneers in the brewpub craze that continues to grow. RB remains true to its roots - great beer and pub food at fair prices. The Nashville location had all that and a roof top deck with the same full restaurant and bar service.
We were there around 6:30 pm. The air conditioning was not working properly and we had to use the menus to fan ourselves. It was a little too loud for us, but otherwise, very good. We would go back.
Our 6th year in Nashville for CMA Fest but first time here. We have a 3 year old, so it's hard to find a restaurant on Broadway that isn't too much like a bar scene if that makes sense. This place was perfect. It's loud if you sit inside, but for us it was great because our son could make as much noise as he wanted. Outside seating was booked or we would've sat there because you can people watch on all of lower Broadway. Would definitely go back next year!
Great for a group. Wonderful service even when we had to send something back.
Server was very nice however he seemed over whelmed by things out of his control. Restaurant was overall not prepared for the volume of customers that CMA fest would bring.
Shrimp and grits very flavorful...but really wanted a burger so i tasted my dining partner burger and it was also very good!!!
Went for brunch while on a bachelorette weekend; our server was wonderful and hilarious. However, the food pretty much sucked. The salads were small and steak was poorly cooked, not even a substantial amount of lettuce; a couple girls had tacos and said they were bland. The nachos were legit, but we were also starving and hard to screw up nachos. The bloody mary was flavorless too. It was not crowded, and again, our server was great, but the food was not cheap enough to taste that bad.
Stopped here for something to eat before hitting the music spots of Broadway. Great service, good food all reasonably priced.
Sunday, May 20th was extremely noisy and service was slow. Did not look like RB was prepared for the onslaught of people between 5 PM and 8 PM....
My husband and I are visiting Nashville to celebrate my birthday. This was our first time in the city and at this restaurant. The host staff, food, and drinks well awesome. Our servers focus seemed to be on her other tables, we also felt as though she was rushing us to order as well as pay when we were barely done with our meal. We would love you return when we visit again . However, we both would hope that we had a more considerate server.
This is one of the many restaurants we visited during our stay in Nashville and it was one of the bests! We made a reservation about 30 minutes before we left since there happened to be an opening and we sat down as soon as we walked in! My husband ordered a steak and it was SUPERB. I ordered chicken tacos which tasted very good but presentation could have been better. They have a huge menu with lots of yummy things to try!
Love the food! The Mac n’ chicken is my fave!
Had a window seat so we could people watch. Great gluten free options.
I have never been disappointed with this restaurant. Absolutely wonderful service, food and atmosphere.
Burgers, sandwiches were very good. Steak that was ordered not good at all.
Portions are huge!
Absolutely amazing. The mango chicken was perfectly cooked. Great location and great food.
The food was exceptional and the wait staff was as well. We had been once before and our service was less than excellent but this time made up for it. We had made a reservation early for a late lunch and the table was ready when we arrived, 15 minutes early! We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and they were delicious as were the burgers and chicken tostadas everyone ordered for lunch. Great value and nice restaurant for being right off of Broadway. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Rock Bottom.
Overall enjoyed the experience. Food seems to be slightly overpriced for wht you get. It was a fun place with good adult beverage selection.
Food was good. Beer was good. Service was good, once the waitress was notified that we were there. The door was locked until 1110. It was supposed to open at 11. Cold and windy. Not cool with two children.
Tried the lobster and shrimp enchilada. Very good. My husband tried the fish and chips and commented that he was surprised at how good it was.
Not a good choice for pre-concert dinner. We should have read the reviews before booking a 6:30 reservation for two.
It was a busy Friday evening and we were glad we'd made reservations. We were seated immediately and our drink order was delivered promptly. However, 30-35 minutes after being seated we still had no food. We were surrounded by larger tables and the server was busy taking care of them. We finally followed him after he left an adjacent table and told him we had concert tickets and needed to leave in 30 minutes. Someone else brought our salads and entrees and we had to rush through our meal while watching the clock. No one ever checked back with us to see if we needed a drink refill (we did). We were getting up and putting on our coats when the server hurried over to give us our check. We had to race the five blocks to the Ryman and barely made it to our seats before the show started. It was an unpleasant and stressful start to an evening we'd been looking forward to for several months. :-(
Definitely good value and good food, and very good beer! Only drawback is that the noise level is high.
This place was recommended To Us by Nashville local. Great suggestion! Food taste was the most impressive.
From the very beginning we were treated poorly. We asked, before sitting at our table, if we could move to another round table a couple of tables away. We were hoping to be able to see the tvs and watch March Madness. The answer was no. They then stuck a sign in front of the tv we could see a bit of. The waitress told us not to ask about the sign because they would get mad at us, but not at her. We were very polite as we always are. It was very strange and not the type of treatment we are used to. My daughter then ordered a salad and asked for fried chicken, which is an option with other salads, and was told "probably not", "It's not an option for this salad but I will try". They didn't refill water and were pushy about taking the orders. Now I know why they weren't that busy. Clearly people know things we didn't. Lastly, the drinks we ordered were severely watered down and expensive. Disappointing for sure.
Amazing food and service. We did have some annoying kids yelling at the cross walk, but they quickly left.
We arrived at 5:00 and the Preds were in town--so everything downtown was busy. We were able to secure a seat at the bar before our dinner reservation at 5:30. Several bartenders walked in front of us for about 10 minutes before we had to stop one to ask them to take our order. When we seated for dinner--we were next to a table of young (20 somethings) Preds fans and they were well oiled for the game. They were a little loud and it did make for challenging conversation. The food was really really good--it just took 30+ minutes to get a couple of burgers, a salad and wings.
Overall the experience was fine--and I will go back--and just hope that the slow service was an anomaly and not standard fair.
Will definitely go back to Rock Bottom. The Open Table system worked flawlessly so will use that again too. Rock Bottom was noisy but that was okay. If you’re looking for quiet though, might want to find another spot. Good food, good value, great service!
No waiting for a table and we had great service and great food.
Typical Broadway Restaurant. Moderately priced, good for family as there is something on the menu for everyone. Not remarkable food or options, but fits the bill for those who are not looking for exception food, service ambiance.
Good food, good location for all the downtown activities. Family friendly just a little loud. All beer is on draft and my husband doesn’t care for that but overall a fun joint.
Food & service great were great! So was the beer!
Good food, excellent service, reasonable prices, convenient downtown location. Have been there for both lunch and dinner and will definitely go back.
Awesome place to eat. There are tons of menu options along with a great happy hour for food and drinks. The environment is so fun and the staff is exceptional.
We booked 2 weeks in advance it was my bfs bday! But of course Waiter was busy flirting with other girls every time food came there was either somthing missing or wasnt even cooked waiter never kept our drinks full it was just a horrid experience...although my food and only my food was yummy ...
My friends & I got together on St. Patrick’s Day for some food & drinks, and Rock Bottom was the perfect choice!! The food was delicious, the service was quick (even though the restaurant was packed), and the restaurant was fun!
We had a reservation on St. Patrick’s Day. Even though it was crazy in downtown Nashville, we were able to walk right in and be seated immediately. The food was good, although we all missed complimentary bread with our meal. I would have ordered some had I realized there would be none. The atmosphere was nice, as was the wait staff! I would eat there again!
Fantastic service. Felt very bad for our waitress as she was amazing but the kitchen was awful. Way over priced for what you get. If you want a burger even partially cooked you apparently need to order well done. Will honestly never eat here again. They also gave away our reservation to a party that arrived at 6pm even though ours for 7pm. They thankfully were able to seat us.
The service was poor even though it was not very crowded. No refills, waitress standing around talking to waiters, no urgency to help or check in with us throughout the evening. Food took over 30 minutes and when it arrived it was cold. Mostly only ordered appetizers, a salad and burger. Food was bland. We won’t visit this establishment again.
