Food was cold after preparation, not the same as advertised on the menu, and management was unapologetic about a poor dining experience.
This was a decent meal, but I just wasn't super impressed or very pleased. Beer was good though!
Would be 5 stars across the board but the shrimp and grits was overwhelmed by the sausage so we sent it back. But they were awesome and took it off the bill.
The food was just okay. Our waitress was very rude and ignored us even when I would raise my hand to her. We talked to the manager and all he gave us was 25% off one of our drinks.
Enjoyable experience! We were seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We ordered grilled salmon salads. The food was great and a great value!
Firecracker shimp was dynamite! Hushpuppies were very good.
This restaurant was good overall but not great... the beer was okay but the waitstaff always seemed to be preoccupied with other duties than waiting on her tables. The apps took a little longer than normal to come out but overall the food was very yummy.
It was a quick option while in downtown Nashville. While food was not expensive, what was served was moderate in quality. Server was nice but had a lot of tables so she did her best.
as I age I find that food is all about the sauce. We ordered a Hot Chicken sandwich and Veggy Tacos both of which looked good but lacked any flavorful or 'saucy' sauce. Great location and very affordable for right in the middle of the action...
Great food selection. Good value. Nicole was our server & did a great job. We’ll be back.
Waiter was not engaged. The salad was terrible. Not sure how you can mess up a Cobb salad
We come here every time we go to Nashville as it works if you have small kids. When we were there the restaurant was not busy and it was around 5:30 on a Friday night. Our waitress seemed off. Slurring slightly. We ordered our food an appetizer and 3 meals. It took almost 10 min to get our drinks. Then 10 min later our food showed up. NO APPETIZER. We had to ask the waitress to go get it. 5 min later we get our nachos that were room temperature as were our entrees. The waitress never came back to check on us until it was time for the check. She actually asked to take my card before I was even given the check. Also asked for a manager and he never came over. I will not be going back. Completely ruined our evening.
I liked it very much and I would probably choose here if I was on Broadway at dinner time. My companion did not like it as much as I did and indicated no desire to eat there again. By the way she’s vegetarian and it’s difficult to get great vegetarian food in that area.
We visited Rock Bottom upon the recommendation of our sons who visited while at a training conference.
Quick and friendly service. Pleasant atmosphere with the ability to carry on a conversation which is wonderful. Asiago artichoke crab appetizer simply delicious, highly recommend. Mac & cheese daughter loved, huge portion. Tostado equally delicious. Shrimp tacos way too spicy, wife could not eat. Ribeye steak too salty.
The place was not busy when we went, which we thought would be great but that wasnt the case. It took an extremly long time to get our food and when it did finally come it was cold. Server was nice and all but extremly slow. Food was bland and would not recommend it. However, the name of the place is the only thing going for it, as it definately suits it.
Waited just at 1.5 hours after ordering for our food to come out. Table next to us had the same issue. Server gave us one excuse (large party just left) & the manager gave another (equip down in kitchen). Server made sure we we knew just how hard this was on them. Here’s a tip: don’t ever do that. They cut the bill in half (after I asked them) but the experience was still terrible.
This place was absolutely awful. Do not go here. The service was terrible as well. Food came out cold. Took almost an hour to receive it. We had to get up to get our own refills of water. Since they never came back around to get our refills. Do not go here.
We waited an hour and fifteen minutes for our food to arrive. And when it did, it arrived cold. The server was terrible. She never checked on us. We asked multiple times for water and took forever to get it. We ate our app with nothing to drink. Even when we talked to the manager, she seemed pretty indifferent to what was going on. Every single table around us had the same problem. She willingly comped my meal, but it was with kind of shrug and like, “sorry...”. Overall, terrible experience and we will never return.
I don’t think the restaurant cared whether we ate there or not. Off hand, casual just used to taking money without really having to do anything to earn it. Enough salt in our mac n cheese to keep us going for a week. Why?
Good food and nice beer selection.
Early evening meal. Food was good but service up and down even allowing for the training that was occurring.
We waited over half an hour for our food and our server did not check in on us once during this time to let us know there was an issue. The kitchen was definitely not backed up as the place was nearly empty. When the food came out, one of the dishes was burnt. Luckily, another server took over, informed the manager, and brought us back a new dish and comped the meal. The initial experience was not good BUT the manager did everything they could to remedy the situation. That being said, the food was okay in the end and the service, apart from our original server, was great.
Made a reservation, when we got seated the server informed us that the kitchen (aka the food!) was on a hour and a half wait. We walked out. The restaurant was NOT full and not seemingly busy either. Disappointed! ((Pro-tip:Hard Rock Cafe across the street had very quick service!))
We had reservations for 6:30 and were sat immediately. We ordered a chicken sandwich and a burger immediately knowing that we had a concert to attend at 8:00 at Nissan Stadium. We received our food 50 minutes later. Three tables were sat after us that ordered similar items and received their food before us. The server told us on at least three occasions that he was going to check on our food after having to take care of another table. When we got our food it was luke warm.
Our table was ready when we walked in. Service was great.
We had reservations Saturday (May 25th) at 4:30 pm. We were actually seated around 4:20 pm which was nice. However, inside was HOT, it's no fun to literally sweat waiting on your food. Now in saying that, we didn't receive our food until almost 5:30 ~ waited over an hour for our food. We had to get our drinks AND silverware from the BAR. Our waitress was honestly horrible. She looked miserable. Barely said 2 words to us. We had to make sure to get her attention to refill our drinks, we told her we needed silverware when our food was delivered....continued to sit there and finally went over to the bar to get forks, napkins, etc. Oh! and when our food was delivered, we were missing an entire entree! The worst restaurant experience we had ever had. I will say that the manager came to us at the end and was very polite. We ended up getting our entire meal free - just had to pay for the beer that was ordered. The manager knew we had a horrible experience without us saying a word. I'm guessing it was just a bad day, maybe several workers had called in, maybe our waitress was having a miserable day.....things were just off. Hopefully it was a lesson learned by all.
Went for a business dinner. Service was quick, as they were not very busy. Food was just OK; average at best. One in our group ordered the jambalaya and it looked like it had just a ketchup sauce - no spice to it. The beers are good & cold, but I’d pass on eating here. Seems the food has gone downhill ever since GB took over Big River.
Horrible!! The waiter was rude and not helpful. Took over an hour to get our meals. Of the 6 dinners, 3 where wrong and the other 3 where cold. Then finally the waiter had to redo our bill 3 times because it was wrong. Definitely a waste of money! I would never recommend this place
Great rooftop bar & friendly service. We had the chicken tenders & wedge salad to eat and they were delicious. Beer was great too but that’s a given.
The food was good but the spicy dishes were spicier than usual. Otherwise, everything was great.
We love rock bottom, we come for dinner and drinks before every event downtown. Our waitress wasn't the best, she seemed new and forgetful, but other than that, it was great.
We had poor service but food was excellent
If you’re looking for prompt service, go somewhere else. If you’re just wanting to try out a craft beer and have no time limits, then this place will do.
Great service and the food was so good! There’s so much to choose from and since we can’t eat it all in one trip, we will be back before we leave Nashville.
The restaurant was excellent from service to food. Staff was pleasant and friendly
Always enjoy an evening at Rock Bottom. The food is good, along with the service. Since I'm a Rock Bottom member, they gave me a discount on our check for my birthday. The location of the RB is perfect for visiting downtown Nashville.
Great outdoor seating with a view of Broadway and all the activity. Our kids enjoyed Watching construction of the stage for the NFL draft. Kevin our waiter was outstanding. Compliments to the cooking staff, host and the Beer master Tom. The roast beast imperial porter was excellent!
Was quiet enough to have a dinner conversation without yelling. Our server Travis was great.
Yes! Food is great and reasonable!!! Servers are always helpful and professional!
