Made an 8:45 reservation for (8). Unfortunately when we arrived, our table was not ready. It took a good ten minutes before we were seated. Our server was prompt. Food was ok but I wouldn’t order the same thing again! Pacers were playing and no TVs in our area to watch the game.
Only problem was I ordered a cobb salad and received cod fish (which was my second choice as I reviewed the menu. We joined another couple and that would have meant they would be finishing as I started.
Food was fantastic. We had a large group and the only issue we had was the onion rings weren’t quite done enough and needed to be a bit crisper. Other than that, our group was very pleased with the service and the food. We will be back!
Absolutely love Whitney she made an amazing experience for my boyfriend and I, thank you so much for letting us buy your perfume!
I took a party of customers and a distributor rep to Rock Bottom. The beer was pretty good compared to some of the other microbreweries I've been to, and the food was edible although on my plate the presentation was "rock bottom". I ordered a club sandwich and surprisingly, it was not up to specification. One of the members of my party complained about the background noise.
In fairness, there was a convention in town which I think disrupted most of the restaurants I was in. The service didn't seem to suffer and the prices were decent, but the food was merely average.
Great service and great food, decent price.
We enjoyed our meal at Rock Bottom in Indy. The nachos app we shared could have easily worked as a main for any (or even two) of us, but I really enjoyed my lobster & shrimp enchiladas too. Our server was friendly, helpful, and efficient.
The food was very good at the restaurant. The reason I was disappointed was that I held a business meeting here and the server we had was extremely slow. I thought that he may have been staying away somewhat because he knew it was a business meeting which I appreciate but it took 20 minutes to put in a drink order and another 20 minutes for him to come take the order. It was causing my business guests to become a bit restless.
Server was inattentive
Our waiter was excellent and was very aware of the fact that we needed to be at a concert. He made sure that we had everything we needed with plenty of time to spare. The food was very good and the craft beer was excellent.
Nachos are terrible. No meat on them. They Are all chips. Somebody really needs to look into this or take them off menu or seriously reduce price. Beer is great
Every thing was great, except the walking in to the desk. Ask for our reservation, not found, told the girl their was 5 of us and she tried to put us in a booth for four. Showed her my reservation # & email, in case there was a problem with the system, but didn’t give me the time or care.
Rest of experience was perfect as usual, but just hate starting first thing with someone whom didn’t care or listen and we were very nice to her.
Food is good and prices are reasonable. Nice portion sizes too.
Monster jam with the fam👪
We had a large party and our service was excellent!
Slow to get to our table and sat two by a big group when other tables were open. Food was good and once served came he was great. N
The food was ok but the service was poor. We had a reservation for 5 but still had to wait about 20 mins for our table. We also had to wait longer than normal for our food and some was not made correctly. Waiter did try to make it right by bringing out ice cream for the kids.
Everything about our experience was amazing. We were in town visiting and stayed at a hotel in walking distance which made the location super convenient. The server was on point and delivered excellent service. The food was amazing. We had the fried pickles as an appetizer, the 2am burger and chicken sandwich for entrees. Both were delicious, hot, and perfectly cooked. We’re not really beer drinkers but we decided to have one (when in Rome), and although we weren’t huge fans, it says nothing about the quality. Again, we aren’t really beer drinkers. Overall, this place was exactly what we were looking for and highly recommend others to visit here.
We waited three minutes to be greeted at the front desk. We had a late afternoon reservation, but our table was not ready. Our server sighed when we asked for a beer menu, rolled her eyes when we asked for one for each adult (three), and rushed through the choices. Our beer flights took twenty minutes to reach our table. By then, a few of the beers had lost the heads.
The food was good but not amazing. It had obviously been sitting in the window for a while before being delivered to the table. Finally, there was no manager to be found and very limited server contact. It was a very average chain restaurant experience.
Had a cobb salad with chicken. They threw in the center core of the lettuce. There we some chicken slices dry and curled up and some was soggy. The hashbrown on the 2 am burger was soaked with oil. Some of our silverware was dirty.
Like to go here before Pacer games— it’s a close walk. But nothing is really special about the food. It’s just average.
Food was great.. Hostess was very sweet and helpful..overall it's a great place
Great food and drinks. Quick service. Wide variety of menu options to choose from.
The service was very good for a large group. They have areas with large tables to accommodate groups as well.
We had a really good waiter. Food as good. There are several side items to choose from so you can get something besides the standard fries. Really like there pretzel appetizer. The strike against them was when they brought out the plates for appetizers because two of them were stuck together because the bottom side of the top plate was grossly caked with food stuff. Our waiter of course quickly remmedied that.
We had lunch and dinner here with about 15 people each time. The service was good and we had no problems getting separate checks. We had the the very tasty mango chicken and the poblano chicken which was also a treat. Then a dinner of the chicken fried chicken had my husband singing the praises of the comfort food. I would deforest go here again.
Perfect place to take the family for Christmas celebration dinner. Dining was kid friendly. Our server was excellent. He was right on it and did not miss a beat. Hostess were cheerful and helpful. Good experience.
Christmas dinner with our girls before we walked around the circle. It was a great experience and so glad we picked Rock Bottom.
Server was friendly and attentive
Truly terrible experience and poor quality food. We waited over 30 minutes for our appetizer, mind you it was a very slow night. When we received our entrees mine looked as though it was sitting under a heat lamp for 45 minutes- the rice was dry and the seafood was rubbery. I will not be back here.
We had been fairly regular patrons of Rock Bottom's now closed north side Indianapolis location. We had tended to avoid the downtown location because of the difficulty and cost of finding parking. However, a special event (and a loyalty coupon) persuaded us to plan a visit and made us realize that we shouldn't let a fairly minor convenience prevent us from visiting this location more often. Our server was wonderful. He helped us make choices for our beer and entrees--both wonderful by the way. He checked in on us often enough to make sure we had what we needed but not so often as to be intrusive. As a fan of Rock Bottom's Bourbonzola Cheese Burger, I was interested to try their seasonal Blue Cheese Burger. Delicious! The burger featured the perfect amount of blue cheese, and onion crisps that topped it added a tasty crunch. For a small extra charge, we subbed onion rings in place of the included standard side. These are possibly the best onion rings in Indy! A shared side of regular Mac and Cheese substituted for an appetizer. Cheesy and delicious with corkscrew pasta for a fun twist. (You can also order a jazzed-up Mac and Cheese with chicken and bacon for an entree.) We had no room for dessert, but we did indulge in the seasonal Wicked Elf Belgian-style ale. From our previous experiences at the other location, anything we've chosen from the menu has been wonderful. Portions are generous, and for quality and quantity, prices are reasonable. Seasonal menu items and beers mean that you can choose between old favorites and new experiences.
Extensive menu - something for everyone's likes. I requested a quiet area and it was, although not overly busy for noon time. Although I didn't have dessert, their caramel drizzled carrot cake is the best in town!
Awesome experience... waitress ..Mia..was informative..funny.attentive and accommodating.. food awesome
It’s always good. We visit every year during the trade show.
Takes too long and I have a life!!!
We were very disappointed in the quality of food served. We would not choose this restaurant again.
Went with the group before the Big 10 Championship Game and was very disappointed with the experience. The restaurant was understaffed with the amount of traffic that should have been expected and was put back from our waitress always blaming someone else for the delays in service. Filling water glasses can't be blamed on someone else. We had to ask multiple times where our drinks were, when we were going to get our food and could we get our checks. The food was average and my burger was overly salted. When we did get the checks (3 for the table) they were wrong but didn't want to take the time to get them fixed. Dinner shouldn't take almost two hours no matter how busy you are.
Thank you open table. Great find for us out of towners.
Rock Bottom is always a stop for us when we are in Indy, always good service, food and beer!
Great atmosphere, great service, good food. This was a fantastic place for our group of friends to eat.
