Loved the food and the service!! Worth the drive to downtown and paying for parking in Fountain Square.
My husband and I visited Rock Bottom for our date night and we enjoyed the food and people watching. We dined outside on the patio and had a wonderful meal and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We will be back.
Good before a reds game.
Server was great. The flight of craft beer selections was perfect. We had a great experience. Would definitely recommend.
This is our favorite restaurant to go to. We always feel like we get our money’s worth and the food is always great.
Food was not hot when it arrived. Steak was very tough. Not a good experience.
My family and I were on vacation. My youngest teen loved the mac n chz with chicken. My husband liked his cajun pasta. My baja chicken was good. The other two teens thought their meals were ok. I liked that it was in the Fountain Square which was a quick walk from our downtown hotel. The craft beer I tried was really good. I'd go back.
Table available when we arrived. Food good as usual
I ordered mango chicken and it was rubbery. I asked them to take it back. I don't believe the cutlets were cleaned thoroughly before cooking. I would be willing to try the restaurant again.
Sat us in the back which I do not mind. None of the servers looked like they wanted to be there and we didn’t even get any silverware and had to ask a random server because we couldn’t find our own. The pizza was good.
Ate here before a concert at great American ballpark. Place was very busy but they handled it well. Food did not take very long and was excellent. Better than I expected. Great location next to the big fountain square and walking distance to the ballpark
Quick service and great food for a lunch for 9.
Server forgot a meal. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
The food and service were very good, but we had to wait along time for our food, about 30 minutes, and the restaurant was not crowded at all at the time.
We ended up being about an hour later than we'd booked and the place was packed.......Got two seats at the bar, a great bartender and enjoyed a quick meal and a few drinks... A+
Good food, great service. Restaurant located in the middle of Fountain Square & very convenient.
Server was slow
Received a small ceasar salad with salmon instead of dinner size
We had a reservation and we were seated right away. Our waitress was there right away and got our drinks. There were only two in our party and we ordered our dinner, no appetizers. We waited a solid hour for just normal food off of the menu. It was not our witnesses fault it was the kitchen. She was very apologetic. I heard from a friend that works downtown that they are known to be very slow on getting food out.
It amazes me that this restaurant holds such a prime piece of real estate in downtown Cincinnati, but gets away with poor food and service. I will never eat there again. Had a reservation for myself and my granddaughter at 6:00 p.m. to eat prior to a play at the Aronoff. It was 6:50 before we had our food in front of us, and mine was hardly edible. The kid's meal was honestly more appealing.
Chicken sandwich was very disappointing last two times I ate there. It used to be excellent.
The service was good but the place is dirty and unkept. The floor, menus and furniture need a good cleaning or need to be replaced.
Went for dinner before heading to the Aronoff Theater for a play. We were three adults and five children. Everyone found something they liked on the menu, service was great, and we were finished in an hour and 15 minutes with plenty of time to spare. It is our go to place on Fountain Square.
Happy hour is only in bar and cocktail area and we didn’t know that when we were seated.
We were celebrating our anniversary before attending a concert. Taste of Cincinnati was going on at the same time. Lots of people downtown. Fortunately, we had no problem getting a table and no problem finishing a nice dinner before the show. Service was great. My wife enjoyed the cajun pasta and I had the brewer's club sandwich, which I'd had before. Always good. The beer was good as well and I like how this place (a chain) has modernized its beer offerings recently to include things like a New England-style IPA, sours and Belgian styles. Only complaint: the carrot cake for dessert was a little dry.
Perfect location for our quick downtown trip to Cincinnati. Good food and very friendly waitress.
Food was ok. Location was great and service was good. Lots of menu choices for kids.
I was good, not the greatest thing I’ve ever had but I enjoyed the experience.
High school dance dinner for 10 kids
Excellent food and fantastic service. Pace of service was just right and server was attentive, friendly and helpful.
Not enough servers. The poor man that was serving us was all over the restaurant. He was sweating most of our meal. Overall service was very slow especially during the work hours where most people only have 1 hour. Took us a solid 1.5.
We came on a Saturday night with a reservation because we had tickets to the Aronoff. It wasn't crowded. We arrived for our 6:15 reservation. We placed our drink and food orders by 6:35. My wine never came out and at 7:15, we still had no food. After waiting for my wine for 20 minutes, I told the server that I no longer wanted it. She wasn't kind. At all. I requested to speak with a manager and he wasn't helpful just stating that they were busy. He said he would check on our food but never came back. Our server never came to our table to keep us posted on where our food was either. Honestly, it was as if she was avoiding our table. We saw other tables receive their appetizers after we had placed our food order and I ordered an appetizer for my meal. Needless to say at 7:35, we left hungry and never ate. I will not be back. Ever.
enjoyed sampling the craft beers had great service and the food was great.
The rock bottom brewery has been a favorite of mine for many years. However, I was less than satisfied during my last visit. The hostess seemed to be put out to seat us and the restaurant was not busy for a 600pm reservation. Furthermore, the waitstaff didn’t seem to think it was necessary to remove plates that were used for the appetizer and salad courses and let them stay on the table throughout the meal. I’d suggest taking your business elsewhere.
After running the Flying Pig Marathon Sunday May 6th we were looking for a restaurant conveniently located to the Grand Hyatt on 5th Street. Rock Bottom's location was convenient, and by the scenic Fountain Square. I had a pepsi, burger and side of macaroni and cheese, we also ordered chicken fingers. The service was good, my tummy was happy after running the marathon, and the server gave me a box to work on the rest of my burger and mac & cheese in my hotel room.
Good food selections! good service!
Even though we had 615 reservations we did not get seated until 650 and we had to split up our party in order to get seated at that time otherwise wait would have been longer.
Service was poor, waited a long time for our waitress several times, got out own water, order messed up several times. Food was lukewarm when served.
Had a great time with friends after running the Pig
Poor service, cold food...cool environment
