Dined outside on patio. Met friends before a show across the street at the Roxy. Great outdoor atmosphere. Little street noise. Our server Savannah did a great job. Very friendly and attentive. Only negative was that my wife ordered a bottle of sparkling water with lemon. It was served like a Corona beer bottle with a lemon stuck in the top. No glass with ice. Appetizers were very good especially the beef tips that my wife ordered rare and were served rare and delicious. Entrees were very good. Blackened Grouper sandwich was excellent. Wish they would bring back the Grouper Tacos. Much improved since our visit a few weeks ago. Will return very soon.

05/17/2025 First I want to say that I write this review hoping that the CB will fix it’s current issues and once again be one of our favorite Rochester restaurants. I phoned a day in advance to make a reservation since OpenTable was having issues with its website. Reserved an indoor “non high top” table for 4. Called back a few minutes later to affirm a “non high top” table. My wife and I arrived 5 minutes early to find our friends had been seated at a “high top” table. Asked the hostess to please move us to a low top table or booth as requested. We were given a 4 top table that only had accessible seats for 2 guests. A five year old could not fit in 2 of the seats. Hostess did not seem to want to do her job and address the table location issue. I was not about to ask other seated customers to rearrange their tables. Finally got moved to a booth with one high top stool. I sat on the stool. Service was not as it should have been. Maybe I am old school but I always expect women at the table to be asked first for their orders, drinks and food. Wife ordered a bottle of the house carbonated water and was served without a glass. Appetizers were ordered and served without any side plates or condiments on the table. Soup was very good but needed to be served hotter. Ordered a Caesar salad with blackened salmon. Salmon was served spiced very well but not blackened. We are used to it being pan seared. Was returned to the kitchen and returned just as it was served, no searing. Always enjoyed the CB calamari app. Last three times ordered it was not enjoyable. Grouper tacos were a favorite but no longer seem to be the same. The CB was one of our favorite places to go for food and or drinks before a show at the Roxy located across the street. As I stated at the beginning of this review, I hope this gets the attention of the restaurant staff and management so improvements can be implemented. We attend shows at the Roxy on an almost weekly basis and want this restaurant to succeed.

Easter Brunch was not very good. You had to keep reusing the same plate. They advertised a carving station and there was not one. Food was mediocre. Will not go back.

We were bummed to find out the menu was different than advertised. There was no fresh fruit at all and that is quite surprising for a brunch. The food was just ok. Not great.

We had a great time! We reserved a table and they had it all set up by the time we arrived. The menu isn’t huge but honestly it doesn’t have to be! It was all very delicious.

Nice environment, good service, food and drinks are on the slower side but not too egregious, food and drinks taste good, slightly more expensive.

Service was good, server was attentive. Food was just ok. Marry me shrimp pasta was very bland and disappointing. Cream of mushroom soup was a bit thin/watery but flavorful
