very loud but excellent food. lot´s of fun for a saturday night!

I have dined at this restaurant before and my experiences were generally not good but I thought I would give it another chance so made a reservation through Open Table which I am glad I did because the place was packed, with many people waiting to be seated but we got seated right away. That was the most positive experience of the evening because once seated everything began a downhill slide. We waited a long time for our server to greet us (he was very pleasant and was working very hard but was spread very thin), to receive our order of guacamole and eventually dinner. We ordered fajitas for two, there really wasn't enough of the main course for two people so it was a good thing I wasn't very hungry. The quality of the "meat", which floated in what seemed like a stew, was tough and flavorless, not what I had been craving all day. I should have trusted my past experiences at this establishment and not made a return visit, I don't think I will tempt fate another time....

We always have a great meal at Roccos. Table side guacamole is a must.

I always have a good and positive experience with this restaurant. The food is good but not great same with the drinks. One thing that I really like from this place is the guacamole. Very well prepared compared with other Mexican places. Everything else is average.

Took a long time to be seated even though we had reservations. The waiter was awesome- very attentive and friendly- helped choose a meal for a child who had multiple food allergies - she loved her meal-as for me, the Baja fish tacos were terrible!

Such a great place! Food is excellent! Wish they would expand to the Northeast!! If you like guacamole and tacos and chips go to Rocco’s!! Great food!

Awesome place with awesome drinks

I love going to Rocco‘s Tacos in Delray, however the one in Boca doesn’t even come close.
I’ve had bad experience with this location in the past, however me and my wife decided to give it another try since the Delray location was all booked. Bad choice. The drinks were horrible I had to send it back (how do you even screw up Mexican mule?). The tacos came up half empty, one of the tacos literally had one piece of meat in it.

The food is very good and reasonably priced. Our service was top notch and the atmosphere is fun!

The food was great and large portions. We had an excellent waiter. Prices were reasonable.

Wonderful place to enjoy a light dinner or a complete entree dinner. Very cordial staff. Creative combinations of foods, very tasty sauces and toppings for their food. Great selection of draft and bottled beers and handmade cocktails.

Rocco you need to make a visit to your Boca location. The service was not good and started with a rude hostess insisting the need to specify what kind of outside table you want when making a reservation. The meal was rushed and food quality ok but not great. A $24 entree of avocado fried and steak was mediocre at best. A entree salad in a shell was barely cooked and crispy and pork enchiladas were too heavy on the Smokey flavor.

It’s a fun place in a busy restaurant area with choice between inside and patio. Patio quieter so we chose that and also lovely evening so outside was nice. Good service and good food. Recommend for a casual night out with family and friends

Great place , food was good and waiter was very attentive.

Another good meal here, but seemed a little off compared to my past visits. They changed the chips/salsa presentation... smaller amount of salsa and added a couple of sauces... extra costs you. I prefer the older presentation. Service was good. My chicken al carbon, just ok.. a little dry. Not as wild about running back.

We have been to Roccos Tacos many times and we have always enjoyed our visits. Tonight we went with family from Michigan and again we enjoyed the visit. Every time we order the guacamole made fresh at the table. This is so popular that one usually has to wait for the guac chef to arrive, but we didn't mind. My wife, a food blogger, used to say she didn't like to eat avocadcos. She gingerly tried Roccos guac on our first visit. Now she has a copycat guac recipe on her blog and we eat avocados all the time! The chips that are served at the table are very thin and crispy with a noticeable spicy taste. Everyone likes those. Another great thing about Roccos Tacos is that they have a large, varied menu. I have never ordered a repeat dinner and I have enjoyed every one of them. Tonight I had the baja plate, a fish taco, a shrimp taco and a goat cheese and spinach quesadilla. Yum! What surprised me was the quantity of food. The seafood for both tacos was barely contained by the tortilla. In other words, there was plenty of quality food. The quesadilla was delicious. The girls tried the carne mocachetta meal which was a first for us. They split a single serving and were glad that they didn't order the meal for 2. My wife wondered why we had never ordered it before because it was so good. She, the foodie, highly recommends it. My brother-in-law ordered the korean tacos. They have that korean bbq sauce that I can never remember the name of. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal, too! Some of us shared a pitcher of Margaritas and one had red wine, to accompany the dinner. It was a very satisfying experiece. My sister-in-law was taken by the decor which I'd describe as Mexican Quirky. It does add positively to the atmosphere. We had a great night with good service, delicious meals, fine drinks and a bill of $135 for 4, before tip. We'll be back.

One of my favorite restaurants. Best guacamole in town. Beer always cold and food fabulous. Wait staff always efficient and very friendly.

No matter the location, Rocco's Tacos is always a great dining experience. There are choices on the menu even for the pickiest of eaters. Table-side guacamole is beyond delicious! Even without a prior reservation, they are very accommodating.

Great food but the service was incredibly bad. Our bro waiter ignored us and kept fist-bumping and bro-hugging other bros around the restaurant. Really ruined our evening.

Food was exceptional as always with my Mulcajete being especially fabulous.

Portion size of my skirt steak was very small. Pinapple drink I ordered was terrible. You have to pay for chips and salsa when most mexican restaurants give it to you for free and there salsa and chips are no where as good as my local mexican restaurant. Love the look of this place but the food is not that good

Service was a train wreck. Normally service is hit or miss, but it reached a new low with a slow non responsive server. Atmosphere was great as normal and food was good, but when you cant get your order taken, can't get refills on drinks and can't get the check.... Grrrr

I have eaten at Rocco's several times. I grew up in Colorado so I have a pretty good idea of good Tex-Mex. Rocco's is ok, not great. The chips have an odd spice on them which takes away from enjoying the simplicity of the chip with salsa or guacamole. We did order Guacamole but they did not do a good job of getting the avocado out as there were hard parts of the rind in the guac. We ordered it hot but it was not.

I ordered some tacos in flour tortillas and for the most part they were good. I also ordered two margaritas, neither of which I thought were very tasty. One too much alcohol and not much mix at all. I also ordered the queso which first came with sausage which I did not order and then came later and it was only ok. I have had better cheese.

The ambiance is nice there, nice outside area and the waiters can be good or not. Our waitress was nice enough but not overly attentive. I go there because I stay at the Marriott but I would not go out of my way to recommend.

Best time for table of 3, some drinks and small apps followed by 2 big Mocajete Carne Bowls, and a Salad Dinner. Elotes to start of course. Great meal and great mojitos

Quality of the food and service is going down hill. Skip it!

Seated promptly. Waiter showed up after about 5 minutes. Took drink order which we got after about 10 minutes. Food was very good. Asked for bill and received it quickly. However it took waiter about 15 minutes to return and process card. Essentially everything was fine except the waiter was too spread out. Hard to tend to us in a timely manner.

Great food and ambiance. Shared the special - cauliflower tacos - with a mushroom quesadilla. Both were excellent. Table side guacamole and their spiced chips were also awesome. We live out of state but look forward to our annual visit to Rocco’s. (We purchased their spices to bring back up north as well).

Great food and drinks. Tableside Guac was delicious! 4 star rating because it was to cold in the restaurant....very chilly while eating. We asked to have the air cond turned up....no avail. We will go back!
