Rocco's Tacos & Tequila Bar - Boca Raton
Good food at reasenable price. Drinks a little high priced.
Noise level was down due to corona virus, but food and service were predictably good.
Was not fond of the fact that they sent us a coupon in the mail and then in the VERY fine print at the bottom said it wasn’t valid on Saturdays. Food here is very overpriced as it is, won’t be back.
Everything was delish!
This was my first experience with them and it was the best experience. The food was delicious and the waiter was well trained and very respectful, I wish I remembered his name lol.
Hay que hacer un esfuerzo para ser atendido, y cuando lo logras el servicio es lento. La comida en lineas generales no tiene nada sobresaliente, es un lugar mas para tomarse algo y picar algunos platos mexicanos que para ir a cenar
2 orders of the California Fish tacos were very dry. There were 3 extra tacos on the bill that where not ordered. Server removed them when notified about the mistake.
Was great, sat outside. The waitress was attentive and friendly😁food is always a hit!
Excellent food and service.. however very noisy. The outside tables were on a large patio, very enjoyable. The guacamole was the best!
Rocco’s Tacos offered a fun dining experience at a reasonable price. The table side guacamole was fantastic and the service was excellent.
With several other tables obviously available in main outside dining area, the hostess sat us initially at a small table squeezed in among hightop tables near the bar. We requested one of the other available tables at which we were eventually seated.
Bizarre but we really enjoy the food.
Chicken in green mole was very dry
Carne Asada taco had minimal bits of steak with salty cheese and nothing else on the side. Very disappointing!
First time customer. Very pleased! The food was great! The shrimp tacos and quesadillas were awesome! The guacamole was made fresh at our table ! Will be back !
First I must state that our waitress was great ,which is really important to me
It's a noisy fun place
The initial pour of my wife's wine was ridiculously low,but the waitress remedied the situation
The only issue we had was on the item my wife and I shared. It was steaming bowl of seafood with pancakes to roll up. I asked the waitress on why only 3 shrip since we were sharing as we bought the $42 double version? You cannot really share one shrimp to make it even. She asked the chef and he/she said you get 3 pc with the single and 3 pc with the double. You just get more of the rest of products in the meal. First of all I do not really believe that the chef said that and if he did then it is totally wrong.
Then later we saw a couple delivered the same meal and the food came up over the top which leads me to believe that we mistakenly received only a single version in our pot. When we questioned the waitress on this she said that they received the same thing we did (even though it was not her table) and said that since the bowls are handmade that no two are alike size wise.
As an importer myself I know that is also not true. Things that are hand made are very very slightly different. Not even noticeable.
The food was great.I just think we were short changed.
However if you tell me that we received what we were supposed to then my remedy is on my next visit to just order the single and get my 3 shrimp and everything else I would need.
I love Roccos Tacos! This ambience was perfect for a Girls Night Out- one of our friends is going through a rough time and it was loud enough that we weren’t interrupted and quiet enough to be able to connect with her. Plus there is great food at every price point. Don’t skip the guacamole!
Always great food!
Love the tacos & the guacamole made tableside margaritas very watery
Great for business lunch!
Felt like the server forgot we were a table, waited a good 10-15 minutes for hot sauce. Food just wasn’t as good as it tends to be, I guess the other Rocco’s do better on busy nights. Just overall disappointing.
I was visiting my college students and we dined with their significant others. Food & atmosphere was great, but most of all the service we received from Jamie was outstanding!!! If you are looking for a hip and delicious dining experience, Rocco’s Taco’s is the place to go!!!
It was National Margarita Day and they were offering $5 for the House Margaritas. They were terrible. Completely watered down. We had to send them back twice and a manager needed to watch them make them so they were done right. Would have preferred to pay full price than a lousy one. Just not as good as the place used to be. Very disappointed.
All great but noise level was hard for conversation.
Great food and service, had some really good cocktails!
Had a 7:15 reservation and still waited 45 minutes for our table. Ordered the guacamole spicy, it was bland. The California fish tacos use to come with a side. Now it doesn’t. Overall food was bland and service was mediocre.
Great food as always and great Service. The foos is amazing and lots to choose from. Might be the best table-side guacamole that I have ever had. The tequila selection might also be the best. I always enoy taking business clients here or just a low key dinner.
Great margaritas. Be sure to eat outside on the patio. Sometimes the food is better than at other times, but overall good.
Rude person at desk.
Chicken tough like leather.
Difficulty in selecting table.
Waitress very nice.
Amazing dinner in Boca! Best chips, salsa, tacos and guacamole we have ever had! The drinks were great too. It was our first time and we will eat at Roccos Tacos every time we visit Boca. Have already recommended it to all our friends and family! Thanks for an amazing night!
The worst service for Valentines Day we have ever had. And it was not even busy at 6:30 pm but our server absolutely ignored us! Terrible experience!
Meeting friends for dinner, no special occasion
Our server Derek was the best waiter we have had in all the years we have gone there❗️
Excellent food and service. Leo, our server was excellent.
Able to help us with dietary needs.
Terrible service. Waited 10 minutes for anyone to come over to our table once seated. The 4 of us each ordered a drink, waited 15 minutes for just 1 drink to arrive - waited another 15 minutes for the other 3 drinks to arrive. Ordered guacamole the same time we ordered the drinks...waited 30 minutes for the guacamole to arrive. Spoke with the Manager who comped us the guacamole but waiting 40 minutes from arrival time was aggravating enough. Tacos were very average at best. Will never go back to this place.
It was Taco Tuesday & it was 4 of us (2 couples) and we had so much fun ! Our server Leo was so attentive and high spirited despite being so busy.
Definitely will be going back & asking for Leo !
Thanks Leo !
Really good tacos and cool happy vibe here. Tuesday’s is truly Taco Tuesday with all you can eat tacos.
Don’t get the chicken taco though... It’s a pulled chicken taco and not very tasty, but the steak, beef, shrimp, fish and veggie tacos are all delicious.
Don’t forget the Guacamole.
Our waiter Octavio does not understand his job. Upon being flagged -as he never voluntarily came to the table - he would take drink order from that one and walk away without asking if there were other orders. This was repeated throughout the evening. We caught him and got our food orders in, but he never came back to see if we wanted/needed anything else. Our food order arrived, delivered by someone else and he never inquired if we needed anything else, which we did. He seemed to be friends at another table and spent inordinate time chatting and laughing with them. Place was horrendously noisy as we were inside and conversation was difficult. On a scale of 1 to 10, our chances of going back is -15! Somebody please train this guy!
Food was bland and extremely salty.
Our server was completely inattentive. Food is mediocre but overpriced. Our $30 pitcher of sangria only poured 2.5 glasses. It was 3/4 full of ice. When the waitress asked if we wanted to buy a 2nd pitcher we said no because it was all ice. She actually said, "Yeah, I noticed your pitcher was full of ice. I can ask for less ice on the next one." The proper response would have been "let me bring you a free glass of sangria since we completely ripped you off. Not going back there any time soon.
