   This restaurant will be closing within the next week or so and re-opening with a new name, menu, and management. One of the major draws was Roberto Tredi who will NOT be at the new restaurant. We'll see how the new manifestation does.

   The only reason why I would not recommend this restaurant is because our service was very poor. Took long time before our beverage was brought. Slow response, even after a request. Fresh ground pepper was only offered for one of us on salads. When we brought to our server's attention, we still had to wait for quite some time. Same goes for our entries as well. There was not many patrons and only a handful of tables to attend. We were on a lunch hour from work, and when mentioned we needed to get our check quickly, it still seemed to take extra time.

   We were staying nearby and arrived hot and hassled. We wandered around the market but wanted somewhere nice to sit - Roberto's was a lovely find. We had dinner on Friday night - very good pasta and red wine - and came back on Sunday for brunch (which was delicious).

   First problem: Probably 25% of the items listed on the online menu were actually on the restaurant menu, and the online menu indicated half orders of pasta were available, which they weren't. Second problem: Saltimbocca flavors were very good, but the veal cutlet wasn't actually flattened for about half its length, and that part was thick and way undercooked. Third problem: Bolognese salty almost to the point that it was indedible. One diner had a pizza verde she liked, but which I thought was underseasoned. Given the prices, this doesn't work.

   I can honestly go on and on about my experience I had at this restaurant on Valentine's Day 2016. Let me start by saying, I planned this trip to Seattle months in advance with the intention of proposing to my girlfriend that Saturday. The weekend was to include romance and good food experience's. Reservations at this place were made weeks in advance and was specifically chosen because there was no mention of a fixed menu. Being Valentine's Day, we understand most places offer only fixed menus and when we can upon this restaurant, we loved the menu (especially the fish options) and there was no mention of a fixed menu. We show up and could already tell it was going to be one heck of a night. The hostess was helping to serve tables and guests were not looking happy. We weren't acknowledged for about 10 minutes when seated. No bread was provided and the kicker, we were given a fixed menu! $60 per person and no fish option! We ordered drinks and took about 30 minutes to finally come to our table. Looking around the restaurant we saw unhappy tables, people not receiving their food, people being seated and just leaving when they saw the fixed menu was the only food option. For Valentine's Day, the restaurant had only one chef on staff and not enough waiters and waitresses.... Our not so fine dinner experience took 2 1/2 hours and caused us to miss our planned show that night. After they rang us up for a whopping $160 tab for two, the hostess came by to apologize and asked if it was too late to do somethinf with our bill. We told her it was already charged to my card but that we were not pleased one bit with our experience. We were told about management issues with the restaurant and that the staff was just notified that morning of the fixed menu. I dont have enough time to really go into detail but let me just say that our experience the night before at Capital Grill (high-end restaurant) was absolutely fantastic, great service , great food and only cost $120!

   For Valentine's Day, we had a set meal with 4 courses. I had the pairing. The third course was delivered before the second course. We had to ask for the 2nd and 3rd wine pairings. The food was very average. The staff seemed disorganized.

   The restaurant was very nice and clean. Service was great and food wasn't too bad. What I like the most is the atmosphere and the glass atrium section where my gf and I ate at. Very romantic and ambient. Thank you again. I'd say Seattle's hidden gem! :)

    Awesome setting, wait staff was awesome, average food served in a fun unique way. Definitely a place to go for the environment more so than the food.
