Roberta’s is an award-winning glasshouse restaurant and bar located in the heart of Temple Bar. Our restaurant is perfect for a variety of dining occasions; we can host birthday celebrations, hen parties, graduations, a relaxed catch up with friends, intimate date nights, after-work drinks, lazy weekend brunches, group dining and much more. Our restaurant and bar is located on Essex Street East in Temple Bar, right in the heart of the action. With unbeatable views of the Liffey to one side and the gorgeous cobbled streets of Temple Bar on the other, Roberta’s is the perfect spot to kick off your night on the town. We are open for dinner, drinks and wood-fired pizzas seven days a week from 5pm with brunch served every Saturday and Sunday morning from 11am.

    Great venue and location. Staff seemed to be under pressure which unfortunately resulted in half out meals arriving 20 minutes late. Food was very good but unfortunately served well below the correct temperature. Normal circumstances I would have sent back but was obvious it would have resulted in another 20 minute delay. Pity as something easily fixed would have made it a 5 star experience and not the 3 it star we experienced

    We went for a farewell party, it was super nice! It was a bit packed and the waiters managed the situation very well. The food was good, food quality vs price was ok. All good, we will return and recommend Roberta’s

    They changed the menu for brunch and supposevely the chef, there are different options but they removed few brunch classics. Overall good but not great as before, especially the pancakes last time were amazing, this time good.

    I had a lovely night yesterday celebrating my birthday with my friends. Everything was really nice and Altea who was taking care of my table is the best. One of the most lovely and charismatic person.

    We enjoyed Roberta’s for our anniversary and it was gorgeous! Delicious food, great service, beautiful views and vibes with the music and atmosphere as a whole. I am pregnant so I was very pleased with the non alcoholic options on their menu as well. I was able to enjoy a couple mocktails and a glass of bubbly to celebrate our occasion without the alcohol content. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend.

    I have been to Roberta’s a few times before and was always very happy with the experience which is why I brought my family who were visiting. The restaurant was not busy but the food took a long time to come to the table even though we could see most of it on the pass in front of the kitchen. Unsurprisingly some of it was only warm when it arrived. We just ate it anyway because we were really hungry by the time it came and also had another appointment to get to so wouldn’t have had the time to get the order remade. Also, one of us ordered a burger and specifically asked the waiter for it to be cooked medium, no more. The waiter assured us that it would be because you guys never cook it well done. It arrived very well done….! After the food, we ordered espressos which again, took a long time to come. Only 2 of the 5 were hot, no spoons were given with any of them and to be honest none of them were drinkable. They tasted all watered down. Unfortunately this was definitely not a good experience this time around.

    We normally love Robertas but last night we were shown to our table and left waiting over half an hour trying to catch the attention of waiter , in the end i had to ask the front of house lady to get us a drink .

    The restaurant is gorgeous and the staff is absolutely adorable. Unfortunately the food didn’t live up to that. We had mussels for starter and that was the first disappointment. Mussels came soaked in a sauce that was absolutely delicious for the bread. Not at all for the mussels. We couldn’t taste the mussels and our eyes would even get teary as it was very strong. When we tried the sauce with the bread, it was the perfect combination. My partner had pizza for main and is was ok. Not amazing, just ok. I had the pork chop and… it was painful to eat. Not flavoursome at all and very VERY dry at the end, impossible to swallow. I also had truffle chips on the side and those were quite good, but nothing could really go wrong with that one. We decided not to have dessert as we were disappointed enough with the food we previously had. I was excited to go there as I’ve been to other restaurants of the chain and had ou standing experiences with the food. But Roberta is definitely a big NO.

    We came for a group dinner. The food was fabulous and the place was nice. However the service wasn’t up to scratch. It was a Tuesday night so wasn’t that busy at all. But often there was no waiters around to be seen. It took a long time for anyone to come to our table after we were seated, we then had to call them to our table both to order and to get the bill, and pay. All of which shouldn’t be necessary. It should be noted that there was one lovely person with glasses who served us some drinks and was absolutely lovely !

    Beautiful restaurant! Service was excellent! Always checking in and serving quickly. Even the bathroom was pretty. Was clean and had a coconut hand soap. We ordered the cauliflower soup, margherita pizza and a pepperoni pizza, Guinness and martinis. Delicious. The music gave a good vibe. Would definitely go back, a new favorite spot.

    Asked for a surprise lil dessert/cake since it was a special event but they didn’t care at all! They didn’t bring anything which clearly illustrates they ain’t customer centric. I thought to organise an event there but this situation made my guests little upset so wondering to Organise it somewhere else. I hope you train your staff well to see the reservation notes. Please train them to make sure there’s a reason why notes section exists while guest make a booking and that’s why there’s a reason why we put our credit card while making booking which could loose 20 euros per person if we don’t show up. Putting credit cards and pre reservation gives us an assurance that restaurant is nice and customer centric. That’s not about food all the time, it’s experience that counts.

    Had the vegan option which was slightly undercooked, not warm and very small serving, thankfully I got chips as well . The staff were lovely and service was good but the food let the experience down.

    We were so impressed by Roberta’s! It’s has a very cool atmosphere and the food was delicious! Definitely recommend a visit to anyone. It looks quite understated from the outside and then there’s a ‘wow, cool’ factor once inside!
