   We had a lovely dinner at Robert. The service was great, the food & beverages were all wonderful, and the space is gorgeous. The burrata with balsamic caviar and red & yellow tomatoes was the best I've had in a long while. The Potatoes Anna and grilled asparagus were delightful side dishes. There was, however, a very poorly behaved French child that was supremely annoying. After running amok for most of the time we were there - accompanies by a neglectful / overindulgent mother, finally the manager was able to remind the parent & child that this was a restaurant & all guests (including children) are expected to behave in a manner that doesn't bother other guests. A bit too little, too late. What is the correct way to handle parents who haven't taught their children how to behave? It's not an easy question or situation for the management to handle - but unfortunately it did detract from the evening & should have been addressed sooner.

   Robert is a winner. It's a beautiful setting with a great view of Central Park and Columbus Circle (from the window seats anyway). Lunch on a Monday was terrific, excellent burrata, tasty salmon, and delectable cheesecake. Staff was helpful and polite and very solicitous. Great all around!

   Loved our experience here. They also brought us delicious macaroons to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We had a wonderful time and felt truly special. Thanks so much 😊

   Delicious and well presented food. The service was very attentive without being intrusive. The view of Columbus Circle at night is spectacular. Robert is a go back to restaurant a d we will each time we are back in the city.

   We enjoy Robert for the upscale, hip vibe and their inventive, tasty menu. Among the hits we had were the porkchop (grilled perfectly, with a delicious yucca pure) and branzino (meaty, flavorful), and lemon risotto (subtile flavors, rich but not heavy). The miss was the spring minstrone, which was more of a pea soup (might have been better chilled?). Our server was friendly, helpful, and honest with his good recommendations. When we ordered ice cream for dessert, he threw in a complementary serving of the chef's specialty lavender and pistachio ice cream which was delicious and a lovely gesture.

    Service was excellent. Fantastic cocktail - Emma Rose. Enjoyed the price fix menu , the tuna tartare was ver flavorful.
