We were greeted and seated with a friendly smile. The time taken to ensure we were comfortable was noticed and appreciated. A lovely environment for a meal away from home.

I booked through Open Table. Received multiple confirmations of the booking - right up until an hour prior to our booking. Upon arrival there was no reservation for us and no table. Luckily there was a reservation for 4 for a party that had no yet arrived so the delightful wait staff gave us that table and then scurried around to organise seating for the other psrty. The restaurant was almost full. Something is wrong with this booking facility. It’s either the booking platform or the restaurant. Either way it’s something I won’t leave to chance again - but why would anyone bother booking through Open Table if you have to then phone the restaurant to confirm that they actually know you are coming?

Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here many times since they opened. First time we to experience loud noise and bad service. Booked a table for friends' lunch, the music was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation. We asked for the music to be turned down and the staff member told us that she had already turned it down, prior to our arrival. When we asked another employee to lower the music level we were told that there was a table of 18 arriving soon and the noise would be louder, no she couldn't turn down the music. We have had lunch in this restaurant many times over the years and never had a problem. The male manager suggested we go into the bar area for lunch, next door (linked to the restaurant). The area behind the bar is a very comfortable quiet place to eat. We waited 10 mins for service and then had to go to the main restaurant and ask for service. Eventually someone came to the bar area and we had to order our meals and drinks at the bar. They don't take meal orders from the table in the bar area. Lunch and drinks were served, without a smile. Meals were not placed in front of us, served from the end of the small table. Very evident that the young waiting staff had no serving or training. Thank goodness the menu hadn't changed, Robbie Brown's always has a large selection on their menu. Good food, bad service.
