Robba da Matti (West End)
This is the second location in the Robba da Matti group. It's a larger, more elegant and beautiful restaurant with more amenities for our guests.

Carpaccio was excellent but my Vongole could use more garlic and salt. There was some sand at the bottom of the dish. My girlfriend really enjoyed her seafood risotto.
Enjoy this space and the food was very good. A little pricey but for a special occasion it was well worth it.
Lovely place - excellent food and service - great neighborhood spot - can't wait to eat outside in the summer!
This is the second time I have eaten here. Friendly greeting; good food; good service; not too noisy. Our party had a perfect evening. Delightful.
We love everything about Robba da Matti. You can always count on terrific food and warm, super-efficient service. We particularly love the garden terrace in warm months, although the interior is cozy and inviting too. Just celebrated a birthday there and now all our friends want to come back soon!
Always a pleasure to have dinner here. Food is tasty, portions are on the larger side but quantity does not mean absence of quality. Whenever we go here seems like everyone there is having a great time. Restaurant is quite elegant but the atmosphere is quite relaxed and that is what makes it specail as well as people working here who seem knowledgeable and very pleasant. Great value for money. Would recommend.
Good try. But major fail. Too bright. No vibe. Food tasteless
Fantastic place it felt like being in a restaurant in an neighborhood in Europe. Highly recommended for its food service and atmosphere
Was a wonderful space! James was a brilliant server and the food was incredible.
I will definitely be back and it’s a wonderful location for small group gatherings
Thank you for making my birthday celebrations so memorable
Fantastic local gem! Food is delicious and service was excellent!
Renovations look great, but ambiance needs a little work... kind of feels like they haven’t quite figured out the vibe yet. Food was fine - came out Iuke warm. Had to ask for pepper and Parmesan and didn’t get new cutlery after appies... just small things you’d just expect (until you have to ask for them!) they were also out of the wine we wanted to order. I won’t be back to this location but the Yaletown spot has always been great. Hopefully they can kick it up a notch here...
The vibe of this location is perfect, super intimate but still lively. Food was delicious (with the exception of a couple dishes being bland), fresh, and authentic. They took care of a serious tree nut allergy at our table (although they do not guarantee zero cross contamination as they have dishes that contain tree nuts). Glad I chose to try this restaurant for my celebration! Highly recommend the Burrata Caprese, Spaghetti Carbonara, Lobster Ravioli, and the Mushroom Risotto (names may not be the exact ones on the menu).
Robba da Matti has never failed to provide a delicious meal with excellent service and a comfortable, warm atmosphere. The authentic Italian fare is some of the best we’ve had outside of Italy. Though the wine list is not extensive, they provide wonderful wines to pair with the meals. We have brought many friends to Robba da Matti and, without fail, everyone was extremely impressed with the food and the total experience.
Excellent service great food!
Absolutely fabulous experience in every way. There were 17 of us and we were served quickly and all the orders were accurate. The service was friendly and the food was outstanding. I will definitely come back here when I am in Vancouver again and highly recommend it to anyone.
Our meal was very enjoyable, with good service and high quality ingredients. I tend to be a bit biased about Italian restaurants as I don't think anybody cooks better than my Nonna. However, I think even Nonna would have been happy to dine here. My favourite dishes were the bruschetta leccese and the lobster & crab ravioli.
Service was very slow but they were busy tonight. Food was great, but expensive (more than lunch but the same portions).
Didn’t know much about Robba da Matti beforehand. In fact, reservation was made here after not being able to get into about a dozen other restaurants. I didn’t realize the restaurant was located where the old Delilah’s used to be, so that was a nice surprise. The four of us started with the Delilah Martini, which was delicious. Our server, Ariana, was fantastic - very knowledgeable and helpful, and had a good sense of humour. The food was very good; the carpaccio was the best I’ve ever tasted. It would have been nice to have had some non-pasta/rice options to choose from for our entrees but was able to work out something that met my dietary needs. My friend had an after dinner glass of grappa he said was the best he ever tasted. The evening ended with a complimentary glass of delicious limoncello, made in-house. All in all, a very happy result for a restaurant that wasn’t our first, second or even third choice. Wish I had option to rate it 4.5, instead of 4. Will definitely come back here.
The food was amazing, average $20-$25 ish dollars for a bowl of pasta that was super delicious. They had vegetarian options too which was awesome for me. The service was slightly slow and the place itself was a bit small and cramped. Overall great food, would recommend again if you love Italian food!
Love this restaurant! Perfect for a date or initiate gathering.
Robba da Matti never disappoints. We had a wonderful meal and evening on Valentines day which was amazing. The food is of high quality with very friendly service. We had a newborn with us and they sat us in a lovely alcove providing privacy and quiet for the baby.
Thank you for such a lovely evening
Excellent overall. The server was fabulous. Food delicious.
A great room, lots of ambience. Great service
We weren't informed that they had run out of Burrata until we had ordered a bottle of wine. Given it is a key ingredient in many of the dishes we had a couple of appetizers and left. I understand these things happen but it should be communicated upon arrival. That is within the restaurants control.
Excellent Italian food in a cozy updated restaurant. We opted for the 2-person special which included 2 appetizers, 2 mains, 2 desserts, and a bottle of wine. Excellent food and value! We had excellent service from Davide.
Food was good but service was very poor, they were unorganized and unable to manage a big group, we ended up paying extra as they weren’t even able to bill everyone correctly, it was my birthday and I was embarrassed that I’ve invited my guests to this restaurant.
We had problems serving your group because you wanted a large table with split bills, something most restaurants won't do to begin with & your guests were changing seats throughout the night, very difficult to keep track of. Your guests also spoke my staff in a very derogatory manner. My staff treat all of our guests with respect & didn't deserve that from your friends.
This place was busy, buzzing and the service was great. Had a really nice meal and felt like we were important guests.
WONDERFUL restaurant and great service! Davide made sure we were taken care of and he had great recommendations! Thank you for such great food, service, and such an enjoyable evening! Highly recommend!
Fantastic food, and it seems to be genuine. The service was excellent, the wine was good and not too expensive. The ambience was of a small family Italian restaurant. Everything was perfect!
Hidden gem that we were happy to find - loved that they make their own pasta and sauces - and great for date night ..
Great service, great ambience and perfectly prepared food. Thank you!!
We are regulars at the Yaletown location and booked Haro via Open Table by mistake, not knowing there was a second location. Glad we did. Food is just as exceptional but the ambience is better. Yaletown is somewhat cramped. Service was superb, our server Renzo was excellent. Highly recommend this location.
Great food. A little bit louder than we thought. After we sat down we saw theres a patio outside that was pretty cool. Wish the waitress gave us the option when sat us down.
Absolutely terrible customer service. After finally finding parking on a street where there is so much construction underway. We arrived for our dinner reservation. We were taken to our table immediately. We walked through the busy restaurant out the side door on to the patio. The patio was covered and had about 4 other tables that were already seated. Between all these tables was one functioning heater. Before we even sat down we could see the disappointment on the faces of the other guests, who also looked like they had just been seated. We asked for table inside as it is January not only was it cold or was also pouring rain. The hostess immediately said “no” when we asked if we could wait and be seated inside. Another table asked immediately after we did, the answer given to them was also “no”. After a few gentlemen who were already seated tried to turn on the heaters themselves with zero assistance from the restaurant staff we decided to leave. As we were leaving the restaurant there was a empty table that could seat our party. So I decided to give the place another shot by asking if we could be seated there. The same hostess came back to say “no a walk in customer has waited 15 minutes for that table”. A walk in customer took priority over customers who had made reservations days in advance.... Not only did we walk out 2 other tables who were seated also on the freezing cold and wet patio followed. We went and had an amazing dinner at another Italian restaurant in the area. We waited over an hour for a table but the dinner was well worth it after the disappointment we faced earlier that evening at Robba Di Matti.
Hi Aman, I'm sorry that we didn't take care of you properly that evening. I've made it clear with the hostess that she shouldn't be taking out her stress on the guests by being curt and under no circumstances should she be prioritizing walkins over guests whom have reserved, especially on evenings when we were overbooked.
Great food and service.
Small menu so easy to pick your food. Awesome.
Top top top stuff! One of the nicest, tastiest Italians in Vancouver. Absolutely delicious food.
One of the best meals we have had in a very long time. From the appetizer to the desert, the flavors were the absolute best. We will definitely be back....and bring friends with us! Thank you for a fabulous belated birthday dinner!!
Love this place!!! Consistently excellent.
It was amazing experience. Good food. However the service felt a little rushed? I do understand because of NYe
Perfect ambiance and setting for a date night. The pasta is VERY authentic. Highly recommend the risotto alla pescatora.
