Super fresh, good quality ingredients make for a constantly delicious meal. It's just hard to pick what to order as it's all so good.

Excellent pasta! Had the pasta with short rib. Hearty and filling. Sauce wasn’t acidic. Great service! Friendly and knowledgeable.

Veramente buono! Authentic dishes and quality ingredients in a wonderful setting.

Cozy space with a quiet ambience. Our server Christian was awesome and the food was authentic. Wine selection was great as well.

Our server, Hailey, was amazing, super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was great. Love, love, love the heated covered patio. Can’t wait to come back and dine again. Thank you for this little hidden gem in the heart of the West End.

Visited Robba da Matti on NYE. Big disappointment, we showed up 15 minutes early and the restaurant let 3 parties that came after us, to their table first before us. The beef carpaccio was great but is the only compliment I've got because we ended up sending the gnocchi back and the rest was sub par. We both ended up in our hotel feeling sick an hour after. I don't recommended. We came for the venue especially when the last restaurant there was great in that same location, but not Robba da Matti.

Very good find for us this, West End Italian restaurant. Ticked all the boxes, food, service and ambience. Each met or exceeded our expectations. The one Italian waiter kept up with the service and had time to share a little about his background.

I am so obsessed with the place. A true gem that feels like a hidden gem!

Well done job on social distancing. Service was excellent. Seeing all staff wearing mask (kitchen staff too) makes me feel safe.

We were very disappointed with our night at the west end robba da matti. The restaurant was fairly full by covid standards but there was only one server on doing everything. We ordered a nice bottle of wine for our entrees during our appies so it could be decanted and instead was brought out with our meals and then decanted. We ate our entrees with just a fork as cutlery wasn’t replenished after taken away with our apples. The food was ok, a couple of pieces of our crab and lobster ravioli were extremely fishy but other pieces were fine. Disappointing as this place was recommended to us by a friend.

the pasta dishes are made from scratch & pretty pricey so for $28 i was expected to be dazzled and i am a West Coaster and catch my own seafood including Dungeness crab, as the ravioli was prawn & crab stuffed it was a huge overpriced meal as the crab was "FAKE" and the chefs did not know exactly if it was tie died haddock or what. sushi bars Korean ones often have this is their so-called "real" California rolls, they are not real at all and the imitation crab has chemical addictives, red dye 2 (carcinogenic).

the salad was amazing, olives were Greek not Italian and to start not a great first impression. bread came with no oil or balsalmic or anything.

Manhattan with ice not in a stem glass, had to ask, was in a tumbler. wine was ho hum but that was my choice.

ambience, terrible, could use some original Vancouver artists paintings or prints or anything! Emily Carr graduates! music was perfect.

COVID pandemic, state of emergency guidelines all adhered to perfectly. Christian running the entire place and such a great waiter/host. did some teaching about the Dungeness! have bestie from Nova Scotia who ships Lobster from "back home", did not even ask about the lobster, but the pasta tasted "off".

anyways... thank goodness for great service but that does not make up for a higher end pasta rest for his sake and the sister restaurant in Yaletown. it set the tone for avoiding going back & trying another pasta dish or bringing my lover.

Trattoria has always been a sure thing. so i was hoping this place would be up to snuff and i had fond memories of the place being "Delilah's" where the ambience was close to being in San Francisco or New York City or Paris for that matter! i miss the cherubs on the ceiling & the red velvet nook behind the curtains in the backroom for kanoodling.

The food was really tasty, the service was great. The server helped me pair a wine with my meal and it was a perfect choice. The restaurant is very beautiful and intimate. Was a perfect location for a date night!

We really enjoyed our lovely Australian waitress and she helped set the tone. She recommended a bottle of red wine and it was a very good choice. The antipasti was very good. It was probably the best burrata I have had outside of Italy! The pastas were very tasty and the desserts were yummy, too!

First time trying this restaurant. Burrata was excellent. But the rest of the food was pretty average (a pasta dish and a risotto). Server was very nice.

Giving this place 5 stars is not enough!!! I will recommend Robba da Matti to everyone and anyone! My wife and I came here to celebrate 12 years of being together and we had the best dinner experience we've ever had!!! The food was top notch and the ambience/vibe was everything we could hope for!!! The thing that put our experience over the top is Christian, our server!!! His food recommendation was on point and he made us his own mocktails for our anniversary! Not only did he make us feel welcome, we very much enjoyed getting to chat with him. We will for sure be making this restaurant one of our go-to places here in Vancouver!!!

Great night of dining in the west end!
Wonderful patient & knowledgeable service. Terrific atmosphere. Food was great.
I will say the heat on the patio kicked out for a time where we were seated (didn’t bother us as blankets were supplied but did notice 2 separate parties opt for a less colder area during table turnover near us).

They have the best seafood spaghetti in town!!

Very good food great ambiance and lovely staff. Can’t wait to try everything!

Servers are cleaning tables with nobody at them before clearing people’s empty plates. It took 28 minutes to have our empty plates cleared. Meanwhile servers were cleaning tables of people who left and doing service station jobs that they should do after all tables are happy.

A beautiful spot tucked away in the West End. Top quality, delicious food. Definitely a date night favorite.

The good management of this neighborhood gem over the last few months has made a huge difference -- staff are now uniformly efficient and smart, and this place is humming along like a well-oiled machine.

The food was amazing, however, it was really cold in the restaurants! Customers were requesting blankets

Everything was great except that although we made a reservation we still had to wait for our table for more than 15 minutes.

this place is beautiful and they were great for gluten free pasta options!

This restaurant is a true gem. The best news of all is that the outdoor patio will remain open through the winter. A perfect option for an elegant evening for those of us not yet comfortable to dine inside.
