SMALL PLATES
Enjoy a selection of plates to share (or not).
All of which have been designed to allow for a taste of the Robatary and sample tastes from Asia, America, and local.

TRADITIONAL

A more traditional way of dining, selecting starters from the small plates section, and a main course, and obviously not leaving until you’ve sampled a treat.

Regular bookings will be seated anywhere inside or outside dependant on space.

Our experience was terrible. The staff didn't know what they were doing. The waiters made the drinks and didn't know how, they didn't know what the dishes on the menu were, we waited an hour for starters and an hour and a half for the mains. The dishes did not seem to be made correctly, having no seasoning and the steak was inedible. I do not blame the staff who appeared to be in a bad situation and it was embarrassing. We only paid half the bill but that did not make up for a special occasion being spoilt. We have been there a few times before but will not be returning.

Worst experience. First and last time I will go. Took over an hour for our starter and didn't taste great. My 5 year old son didn't have a starter so had to sit and watch is eat whilst he was starving. Main meals came 40 mins later and my 5 years a further 10 mins from that. Max 5 tables with customers so wasn't busy and other customers were also complaining. When I asked for my main boxing up as I was no longer hungry, I also raised the face that the start plates hadn't been taken either. The waitress just rubbed her eyes and didn't even apologise. Had to also go to bar to get more drinks during booking as no service was provided. I also witnessed the chef changing his top in the kitchen to come out to speak to another complaining customer which is disgusting. I got 1 apology when they knock £10 off my bill for my inconvenience...I now wish I hadn't paid the £98 as we didn't receive food or service anywhere near worthy of that value. I won't be returning but expect it will be closed soon if it continues operating in that way!

Don’t bother! After visiting here a number of times, I arranged a family meal to celebrate a few upcoming birthdays for the delicious roast we have had many times before. On this occasion we were very disappointed to say the least, especially as we were only one of 2 tables in the whole place. We arrived prior to our booking time and were seated by a clearly unhappy waitress and informed of the roasts available (only 1 beef left) after approx 15 minutes we were asked for our drinks order which was taken by a polite young waiter who then returned to say there was no crushed ice for a cocktail so had to pick another. Not sure why they couldn’t have crushed some normal ice to be honest….thats where it went downhill rapidly. The drinks came after an another 15 minute wait, we then placed our food order which was slightly complex but the waiter did come back to clarify and ensured it was correct. One of our 3 starters arrived 50 minutes into our booking to which we asked where the remaining starters were, the waiter looked confused and explained there was only one portion available of the two we had ordered, we requested the one remaining and just asked for the food to come out asap. After another 20 minutes wait our mains arrived, 2 meals had missing items and 2 inedible. When we told the unhappy waitress she seemed out of her depth and had little response but to send the chef out to apologise with little to no explanation. Having been in the restaurant for almost 2 hours we had hardly eaten and were very unhappy. Although we had meals removed from the bill and discount added we all left hungry and angry. It ruined what should have been a family celebration into a complete disaster. Our experience explains why there were very little people in a usually busy establishment. Unless you want to leave hungry don’t bother.

Not many people in. Our table of 3 and a table of 6. That was it. Decent food but a bit pricey. Service was terribly slow.

Food not good, ordered jasmine rice, came boiled, chips were cold, wanted nearly an hour for food, won’t be returning. Service was great, girl was friendly and apologetic.

Service was poor, wine was warm, food was poor staff were not interested even when I asked for a replacement wine as my first was warm and was given a second warm glass which I left but staff didn’t question it. Also didn’t question why most of my food was left. So disappointed. Will not go again. Avoid.

The service was fab from beginning to end. It was cold in the restaurant but looks like we were the first to dine so maybe warmed up later. The starters were amazing (hummus and halloumi) . The mains were a bit disappointing..small portions and the Thai green curry was very watery and a bit bland. The veg however was really fresh and the plates looked stunning.
