The rib eye steak was overcooked and pretty much charred completely. The sushi dinner we ordered was bland and the salad was completely soaked in a soup of dressing. We paid almost 120 dollars for something that personally, id have paid less than 40. This was my worst experience foodwise at the restaurant.
Th wagyu steak seemed tougher than previous time we dined here. Otherwise, all our usual favs (squid ink Uni pasta, black rice paella, Robata platter and the udon soup) are prepared perfectly delish!
Worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We had seven people and it took 10 minutes in between one person getting their meal no one could eat at the same time by the time the last person got their meal we were all done
Awful Awful service!!!!
We asked to be seated at a patio table and were told it was fully booked for a large party. We noticed a number of small parties being seated there during the entire time we were there, and there were open patio tables available when we left. Instead, 3 adults were seated in the section that seemed to be reserved for families with toddlers.
Best spot for Japanese food!!
The lunchtime menu is abbreviated from dinner, as is to be expected. We thought perhaps more 'large' plates, other than "set" plates and bento boxes might be available from the 'grill'. The tonkatsu curry plate was excellent and a shareable size portion. Appetizers, including the chicken and tiger shrimp, were very good. The sushi presentations were beautiful, although the sushi itself was good, not outstanding. We opted to skip bluefin tuna and had japan scallops, very nice, and spanish mackerel, good.
Another excellent dining experience! Sage has provided impeccable service. The wagyu beef melts in our mouths, ‘so good! Robata platter and squid ink uni pasta are always a must to order! We can’t wait to go back for more!
Service by Tomoko was great
We didn’t order any entrees / big plates
Primarily tapas small plates and rolls and a drink each and bill was pretty high.
Got the foods that were highlighted as their favorites and didn’t think it was alll that great.
The hamachi was a bit fishy.
The buttermilk karaage was over cooked.
Rolls were presented nicely. Taste was decent but nothing special.
The mango salmon roll was also a bit fishy.
They need to change their mugs for their hot tea.
So hot it can burn skin.
Been there a couple times , try something new every time! NEVER been disappointed!
I love good sashimi and this was some of the best I have had. The salmon was fantastic as was the albacore and the tuna.
Excellent service by Caleb! Squid Ink Uni Pasta and Black Rice Seafood Paella taste one of a kind! We will definitely be back for more!
I work at the Spectrum and have have had both lunch and dinner. The only reason that I would not recommend to a friend only relates to greeting and service staff; usually rude and inattentive.
My son and I enjoyed our lunch at Robata Wasa very much; I had the Chirashi bowl and he at the Robata bento. Our server, Austin, was very helpful and professional! My son also had the grapefruit mock tail, which he loved. We split the Yuzu creme brûlée, which was delicious! We will definitely be back!
The food was awesome! Such a fun mix of classic sashimi and sushi and fun adventurous rolls. Loved every bite! Our server Caleb (maybe Calvin) was AWESOME!
Really Nice !
food is pricy.
Took customers over and ordered lots of robata to share. Service was poor and that was probably the main thing we left without satisfaction.
We have been to Robata Wasa a few times and were at their previous location a lot! We absolutely love it and love the new atmosphere. This past time we were celebrating my husband's new job , and I requested that they have champagne ready at our table; which they did! Along with a complimentary dessert :)
Amazing food! Robata chicken meatballs and the fried Brie are my favorite.
I’ve been going to their restaurant when they were in a different location for years. I’m very impressed with their new location. They were extremely accommodating despite being late with our reservation. I highly recommend this place. Will continue going!!
This is my third visit to Robata Wasa And was lucky enough to catch their happy hour menu. The California rolls and spicy tuna rolls are great but the spicy tuna on crispy rice was absolutely amazing. The warm sake was delicious versus the cold sake was not as smooth. The Kieran draft was cold and refreshing. Our Server was Evan and he was just a pleasure. He made sure we had everything we needed and was never far away. Overall it was another delightful experience. Robata Wasa continues to deliver.
Good experience. A little pricey but sushi is very fresh. Would highly recommend the Uni pasta and Uni toast.
Service was friendly and attentive. Love having a solid Japanese restaurant offering here at The Spectrum!
This place really under delivers, I was really disappointed with my experience. The food is borderline poor/mediocre especially at those prices. The service is average, although it did take FOREVER for my soba to come out ... My girlfriend was already done eating by the time it came out... The only positive thing I could say about this place is that the ambience is nice. I would definitely not recommend this place.
Good food, good service, nice ambience
Great ambiance , impeccable service great food!
Our server was very nice and accommodating ! The uni toast, imaginable sushi and the albacore was so good!! A great place to entertain !!
It was lovely.
The robata style dishes are a must-try and is what they’re known for. Great and friendly service. Pretty dynamic menu...there’s something for everyone! A little pricey, but great quality.
First time here, our server Ngoc was amazing she was on top of everything and paid attention to our table and what was going on, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable.
Good bento box - lots of food.
fantastic ambience and food! Definitely worth going back to
Overall good experience.
Nice place overall. Service was great. But a lot of the good food is in the lunch menu. Like the bento box, ramen, etc. But still yummy
Tea is boiled water
Salmon smells fishy
Rolls are like jelly rolls of how big they are
Food is insipid
Caleb was our excellent server. Our guests enjoyed the vegetarian options. We made a lovely memory together!
Christmas Eve Dinner for the first time @ Robata Wasa was good but not really as expected with the sushi menu.
The Uni Pasta had very little uni and the pasta was too al dente.
The Robata dishes were very good.
A little pricey for the small portions overall.
Tried for 1st time. Not overly impressed. Skewer portions were tiny and kind of bland.
Food was great, waiter very pleasant and accommodating
Great Food and Service
Nice place good food
