   First time trying RoastHouse and was, unfortunately, very disappointed. The service / attention was well under par, there’s no music causing quite a strange and quiet ambience, everything felt a bit outdated and old - my chair was broken and on the verge of collapse, the food was ok but I’ve had better roasts elsewhere. Overall, an underwhelming experience which is a shame as we were quite excited to try this as it had some great reviews.

   First visit, made welcome. Great food and plenty of it. The only criticism was that the bar was a little chilly.

   Food is way better than a chain carvery and the staff are all so friendly

   Very nice quiet pub kept its character despite its renovation. Nice staff plenty of choice with seating

   The food was tasty and hot and the staff were friendly and efficient. The only slight issue was the timing for meats … only the beef was available when we were at the serving counter, but that wasn’t a major issue. I did have to ask if there was a vegan option, so maybe put it up on the Specials Board and indicate it needs to be ordered a little while before going to the counter for vegetables, etc.

   Tried the new carvery here. 2 prices £9.99 (ample) or £12.99 for the hungrier ones. Greeted by friendly bar staff and shown straight to our table. Drinks order was taken and arrived quickly. Meats on offer were beef, pork and gammon. The roast potatoes were outstanding, as was the yorkshire pudding. Good and perfectly cooked selection of veg : carrots, broccoli, red cabbage, green beans and cauliflower. All in all, good service and great value for money and we will be returning.

   It was very lovely there. Only 1 point to make, the window was open at the back of the carvery station and that made the vegetables a bit cold, they were warm but not hot. Other than that it was all delicious. Going back next time with the whole family.

    Met with a friend for a lunch time catch up. Very relaxed atmosphere. Good food. Pleasant service. Will go again.
