The waiter was awful and acted like he didn’t want to be there. Didn’t check if we needed anything after our meal arrived. After eating we just wanted to leave, we went elsewhere for another drink and dessert.

I've lived in Chicago for over seven years and this was my first time going to Roanoke. The brunch menu was inclusive of everyone's dietary restrictions and the wait staff was incredibly kind and attentive. The noise level is that of a typical brunch spot, but not too loud. For proof, my five-month-old nephew slept through the entire meal. I would definitely recommend it!

The food choices are great. But serving of the food was not. Steaks and their sides arrived cool. Appetizers came sporadically. Wine bottle brought to table and left unopened. Waiter finally came back to pour and overfilled some glasses and emptied bottle stating he’d have to open another bottle to fill all 5 glasses. We were a party of 7.

Despite reservations weeks in advance we were seated up a few flights of stairs in a hotel lobby atmosphere, not in the main restaurant. Food was delayed and not warm. Very salty. For the price, the food was pretty bad. Overall bad experience by all 5 of us.

We just wanted a quick breakfast before a day of shopping. We ordered the fried chicken with biscuit and cinnamon roll… then split the breakfast sandwich. The only thing I would order again was the fried chicken (which was really just 2 chicken strips). The hot honey was really tasty. It also came with a side of Frank’s hot sauce. The biscuit was dry… but not nearly as dry as the cinnamon roll (despite swimming in bland, watery frosting). We asked to sub sausage instead of bacon on the sandwich, which they would not accommodate. There was an overwhelming amount of cheese on the sandwich and the bread was “meh” at best. Oh… and they didn’t give refills of coffee… instead, brought out a new cup, yet didn’t clear the old ones away. Our two-top table was uncomfortably small for 4 cups of coffee, 2 glasses of water, 2 appetizers and 1 brunch plate and our individual plates off which we ate. I guess it was reasonably priced, though.

Enjoyable evening with family. Waiter lacked wine etiquette (wasted wine on table while pouring our bottled wine into glass). This restaurant is worth one visit. Keep an watchful on their menu prices because your receipt may reflect a higher price.

We went for thanksgiving dinnner. We felt rushed at first because we had just gotten our soup and they came out with our turkey dinners. They took the food back to stay warm and the rest of the meal was great. The food was very delicious. We would definitley go back but hope to sit on the lower level where most of the people are, instead of upstairs in the big private dining area.

the restaurant directed me to park at 172 W Madison and mentioned that i would get a validated parking pass. I did get the validation but it didn't work. 1 hour of parking cost me $46.00 and the machine wouldn't give me a receipt. I will have to think twice about going back to Roanoke.

The obeisance was good. Service was friendly but spread thin it was definitely slow to service and I ke0t having to remind staff of my drink order. The desert I got was a baked cookie that was put in a warmer and hard as a rock when I got it. They kept apologizing but by then lost my taste. They did their best but for a 200 dollar meal I wasn't impressed.

It was a great place. It was crowded on a Friday night. So the only thing was you sit close to other diners and it's loud. Recommended but be aware of that ambiance. Food was good, chatted with neaby tables (yes you're that close!) and they enjoyed the dishes they had. Portion size was good and prices were good for downtown Chicago.

We were seated ahead of our scheduled reservation which was nice. The dining area felt a little cramped and we were tucked away in a bench/chair 2-top table that could only be accessed by someone with a small waistline :) The service was prompt and the food was really good. We had two of their “rotisserie” dishes - the chicken and prime rib- which were great.

Ordered starters and sides for an easy dinner with a friend - ended up with more food than we expected, but it was very tasty. Would absolutely return and try more dishes. Especially recommend the brussels sprouts, meatballs, and crab cake!

Very frustrating to be put in a separate section of the restaurant that was actually part of an adjoining hotel. We had a massive TV right behind our table, so half of our party had to see that (we asked, they wouldn’t turn it off). Food was good, but very overpriced.

First time visit. Food was terrific, as was wait staff. Tables in the back are very close together — too close for us. (We could hear our neighbors’ conversations easily.) Pretty lively (i.e., noisy/loud) atmosphere, so not the best place for quiet/intimate conversations. But the excellent food and excellent service really made up for any atmospheric shortcomings. Next time we’ll request a booth when we make reservations. We will be back.

Food took forever to come out. Credit card system malfunctioned for over 20 minutes, almost making us late to an event. When check was returned there was a different card in it. our card was used to pay a bill that was more expensive. No apologies or explanation from management, very unprofessional.

Good food and service. Great for attending theater downtown. They validate your parking ticket for the lot that is across the street and half a block away for up to 6 hours. And I did say the food was good!

The restaurant is very nice and relaxing but I was extremely disappointed in my food and drink, We ordered the signature bloddy marys with cheese skewers that were very bland. It tasted like vodka and tomato juice and the cheese skewer had an olive, a small piece of cheese and a stalk of celery. I ordered the Prime Rib Dip with au jus and Horseradish for dipping. This turned out to be a roast beef sandwich because the au jus and horseradish were each served in a shot glass sized vessel that made it impossible to dip. The waiter finally came by to check after I was half way done with my sandwich and when I told him that it was impossible to dip her said he would give the feed back to the kitchen. I finished my dry sandwich. This looked very promising but it was disappointing.

Brunch was nice after staying from out of town. My breakfast sandwich was huge! The mimosa drinks were always perfect!
