A great local restaurant. We enjoy prime rib when available. We also held our company post Holiday dinner with them. It was well received by all in attendance.
Service, appetizers and social distancing were all very good as well as most of our entrees. The brisket was a little dry however.

Wonderful evening out at this restaurant. Great food, elegant ambience, and a dedicated staff. For those worried about going out the owner/manager of the restaurant is way ahead of you in taking steps to insure your safety and comfort. The fact that the food was delicious and served in gigantic portions was certainly a plus. Looking forward to next visit.
Best dry rub ribs this side if Tennessee, and significantly tastier than the glop that’s passes for Carolina ribs.
Having a So So dinner eating with plastic utensils off of styrofoam containers and paying $6 for sides like mac and cheese or beans just didn't cut it for me….the AC wasn’t working and they were out of a few of my favorites one of which is their very special deviled eggs it seems making deviled eggs can't be that tuff...
Phenomenal experience!!!! Great restaurant all around!!! We tried the jalapeño and bacon deviled eggs!!! Best deviled eggs I’ve ever had!!! The sausage and brisket were absolutely amazing and their choice of BBQ sauces covered any flavor you would ever want. Live music! Clean! Our server, Brandi, was great and attentive! The only thing to not get five stars during this dining experience was the dessert... I tried the peach crisp with vanilla ice cream. The dessert wasn’t warm enough and the flavor was bland. The ice cream was too hard as well. We did address with Brandi and she brought us another fresh peach crisp, but the temperature was the same and just not to my liking. Would definitely revisit!
I love this place, and tried the baby back ribs for the 1st time. A bit tough, but I know that happens sometimes. I still enjoyed them. The mac and cheese with sausage and jalapenos were amazing, as was my husbands dinner. The manager and staff are always so friendly. One of our favorite restaurants.

Wonderful service and setting. My filet was wonderful. My ONLY criticism was the mashed potatoes. The waitress said they were flavored with garlic but all I tasted was vinegar. The burnt ends appetizers were delicious.
Again, another wonderful time at Roadhouse Ribs. Not only is the food/drinks wonderful, but the host and wait staff are top-notch!
Very good fried green tomatoes, cornbread, and baked beans. My favorite was the pulled pork and my husband liked the ribs.

Staff was great , respected the reservation and seated quickly , clean other then they need to pay attention to the spider webs all over far side of restaurant walls and ceilings, my wife ordered a fillet, Medium-well, how ever it came out well done and cold to the touch , I believe if it hadn’t sat on a cold plate it may not have overcooked itself and not been cold , my order was brisket and burnt ends, once again cold really cold , flavor was there but serving cold burnt ends is a big no no , rest of sides were great , suggestions cook steak according to busyness and respect the resting cooking effect, second maybe investing in hot plate system so food doesn’t go cold while waiting to be served , I heard other guest complain about same issues as that night as well, please address as I would love to try again.
We were really looking forward to some really good barbecue as we had heard some very good reviews of the food here and were extremely disappointed. We went as a group of 6 for Valentine's Day dinner. The restaurant decor was very nice and the menu had a very nice variety to choose from. And then things went downhill from there. It took 1 hour for our food to come out and our waiter, although very attentive, kept apologizing and saying that it wasn't his fault. We asked about getting some bread in the interim and he went into a whole dialogue about he just brought muffins to another table because of the delay and how he had to check with the manager about what to do. When the food finally came the food was just warm on most of the plates and 2 of the dinners were sent back because they were cold. When the 2 dinners were returned they were just luke warm and the burnt ends and brisket were so over done that they were dried out and inedible. I explained this to the waiter and he said that he would get the manager. The manager came to the table and apologized and said that he would make an adjustment to the bill. The adjustment turned out to be a 10% discount. Needless to say, we won't be running back to this restaurant very soon.
The food was great. The steaks were a little chewy, but still had flavor. My son enjoyed his burger. The sides were delicious and the dessert was heavenly. The staff were prompt and pleasant without being too attentive. We will definitely try again.

Roadhouse Ribs is my favorite spot in Beaufort for amazing food and wonderful ambiance.
We have eaten at Roadhouse Ribs several times and really enjoy the baby backs, spareribs and sides. The atmosphere is upscale, especially for a barbecue place, and the service is good. However, our last visit was disappointing. I ordered the herb and garlic chicken which was described on the menu as a half chicken, but I was served a drumstick and thigh, another drumstick, and no breast. The extra leg was small and very dry. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, she spoke to the gentleman who was serving as host. When she returned she said they didn’t realize the menu said a half chicken and they reserve the breast for the pulled chicken. I asked her if I could have some of the pulled chicken which she seemed reluctant to do, but did bring a serving. All the chicken was not good-dry, stringy, not tasty. Also, the sweet potato fries are not as good as they were. On the up side the other members of my party enjoyed the pulled pork and sausage.
Definitely my new favorite restaurant! People are very nice. Love the setting. Great menu!
The service was very good. Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. My husband ordered a combo plate. The brisket was flavorful and tender, sausage was spicy. I ordered a rack of baby back ribs. They were too smoked, dry and not meaty at all. Close to being pork jerky-just very dried out and chewy. Sides were good. When we asked about the ribs, we were told it depends where they are on the smoker. I have had baby back ribs at many places and much much better than at this restaurant.
Was a bit disappointed after all the positives I heard. It was a holiday weekend and just did not feel like everything was on track. Probably will try again but had better Beaufort bbq experiences in other places.
Prime rib was totally raw and I mean cold and raw. I couldn’t cut it much less chew it. Baby backs were great. Very meaty. Brussel sprouts were excellent. Mashed potatoes were good. Soggy piece of corn on the cob not edible. Roadhouse salad with chunks of blue cheese and bacon. Well we searched for those chunks and we each found a little one. Blue cheese dressing was probably the essence of blue cheese. Sorry to give bad review but I did not enjoy my dinner. However people around us who were getting bbque were enjoying. Another lady getting the prime rib brought hers home probably to cook it.
It was fabulous. I had the ugly burner and Brussel sprouts and my husband had the ribeye. Both were delicious and we will definitely be back soon!

Food was poor quality a side salad was $6 I could make for $1 upcharge of $2 for side macaroni and cheese being a foodie I was shocked at the presentation beautiful building but really bad overall experience
The atmosphere was very nice. We were one of the only tables in the restaurant and the service was slow. I had the Ribeye which was very tender, not very flavorful. Thought the prices for the portion were a little high. Not a bad place but have had better steak dinners for much better prices locally.
Would recommend only 1/3 of BBQ...pulled pork was awesome; pulled chicken was ok - sauces are great; beef was inedible, unfortunately. The staff was prompt to replace the beef portion AND treated us to complimentary dessert. So this is a partial recommendation, feel bad doing this as the people were all so very nice.

But I'd tell them not to get the cider slaw. It was awful. And honestly, it's very expensive for the quality of food. You pay for the cloth napkins and nice decor.
A group of us went for dinner and we all enjoyed everything we had. I had the burnt ends with apples and mac. The sides are always so amazing and it is so difficult to chose. As usual there, I brought home half of my dinner for another meal.
Very disappointing the last 2 meals after many visits since opening. Garlic herb chicken had a very salty taste and the pulled chicken was watery with no flavor. Previously both of these meals were very good. May be a new Chef? Veggies were good. Discussed with, I was told the chef, but not very accommodating. So sad as I use to enjoy this restaurant.
We waited an hour and a half for our food and once we got it, it was cold. The manager gave us 20% off of our bill, but we really just wanted a good dinner for a birthday celebration.
