Went to celebrate a birthday party during Sunday brunch! It was just what we were looking for as far as energetic and the music was great! The only issue I had was how long we had to wait for our table that we had reserved a head of time . Other than that our server was amazing, drinks were good and atmosphere was fun!
The hostesses here are horrible. So rude and didn’t know how to manage tables. The music is also extremely loud but great day party music.
Great food, great ambiance!
Have no idea why I needed a reservation... no table was ready and I had to wait for the manager to try and find us a table. We were not give plates to eat our appetizers and several items were not correct even though I had written our orders on a piece of paper to the waitress.
WE really thank the staff and GM that helped us organize the event. thank you!
Very expensive and noisy. Servers were more concerned about their looks and their phones
Will not go back.
Allowed to make reservations but restaurant not actually open. Is under construction. Check before booking.
They accepted reservation, but were not open due to remodel
The restaurant was CLOSED when we arrived. We had to go elsewhere at the last minute before a show. I can’t believe I was able to book a table AND have it confirmed from a restaurant that was not even open!
Waitress was hard to find ... always. But everything else about RnR was wonderful. Great food , wonderfully helpful hostess and other wait staff
Service was slow and servers were not attentive. took 3 requests to get diet coke that actually had syrup in it, then I had to get it off the bar for our table. Added 20% gratuity to our party on the whole bill with out telling me.
Dropped in for a light supper and glass of wine. Loved the chicken rolls and smorrebrod. Wine also was nice. Loved having food offerings that aren’t the same old thing.
Awesome staff. Made routine business lunch fun and enjoyable for me and my clients. Food is very American but well prepared and cooked perfectly. No complaints. Highly recommend for lunch
Fun environment and eclectic menu
Burgers were great! It was a game day and TV volume was good, but when the games were on break the music would come on and it was really loud. It is fine for a Friday night pump up, but not great for conversation.
Our server was awesome
This by far the noisiest restaurant I have have been in. I will not go back.
Server didn’t bring orange juice that was ordered, had to send back the cinnamon bun because it was hard, chicken tacos were half an hour after all the other food was delivered. They made it right guy by not charging us for that stuff, but it was disappointing. Check took forever too, was late to the spring training game because of all the delays. Probably won’t be coming back next year when we are in town.
Lol. Can't sit here! But was a great date. Food subpar
It was a Wednesday night, the crowd was small, yet the music was too loud. This is Old Town, I assumed I was not in Tempe. Shame, the musician was great, just couldn't have a conversation without needing to talk over the loud sound.
Other than having our Open Table Reservation RnR got it all wrong. After waiting 10 minutes for service, even after asking the hostess to send us a server, we left, completely unattended.
I wondered if I’d mistakenly put on our Harry Potter cloak of invisibility, but we walked over to The Blue Moose and they amazing care of us!
Above average food with friendly and attentive servers. If you like a noisy sports bar atmosphere in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, this is your spot.
Nice place just SO loud.
Too noisy to enjoy. We ate fast and left instead of relaxing over our meal.
The food was good & the service was great. My husband had the chicken tacos & I had the quesadilla. The portions were small plates, but exactly what we were looking for. The music was way too loud for the size space making conversation difficulty. Even though it was bit chilly that night, it was open air to the patio. Convenient location to the concert we were attending.
Went to meet friends to watch football game. TVs everywhere! Great time
Unacceptable is the only word to explain RnR. I made a reservation 5 days in advance for our annual Girls Christmas party. An hour before the reservation I got a phone call and subsequent voicemail informing me the restaurant had just been bought out for the evening and my reservation has been cancelled.
When I tried to call back the automated answering service was on a Loop, press 4 to talk to the hostess, which I pressed and then it sent me back to the initial answering service. If I press 2 to speak to reservation it went to someone's personal voicemail.
It was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I will never again nor anyone I know Patron this terrible customer service oriented restaurant again.
Had to wait 5 minutes to get seated and no one was even in the restaurant. Sat a table - my drink came with a rotted lemon in it. Server did nothing about it when addressed. To cap things off, people on the street just camped out in front of restaurant and started smoking. We just got up and left. Don’t waste your time.
When we arrived, they would not honor our reservation. They had a private event and were closed to the public. The hostess was rude and condescending. I made the reservation significantly in advance. They had my contact information. They should have called to cancel. Instead, we were forced to find another table in Old Town on a very busy Saturday night.
I would recommend the sweet potato tots...they were a little bite of crunchy sweetness! I also enjoyed the Hangover fries that someone at our table ordered. I don't think I would have ordered them myself but they were much yummier than I expected.
Food and service was good, but the atmosphere is definitely for a younger crowd. RNR is a fun, energetic place with a cool setup, but the ambiance is ruined with extremely loud, club-type music. You're pretty much yelling to have a conversation with someone across the table.
Excellent food and beer. Very noisy with tvs turned up hi for the big game.
A winner of a charity event
We chose this pub for my daughters 21st Birthday. We had 14 in our party and had sufficient seating, just right in the middle of the bar. It was built in high tops so likely best choice for them to accommodate us all, but I had really wanted upstairs. The server was great and attentive, but she did just walk off while we were asking questions 2 times, but it was loud and she didn't do it on purpose for sure. She was attentive to the birthday girl which was all that mattered. Food was ok, not great, but priced well. Loved the animal fries and they had a lot of apps, so recommend just going the small plate rode. I had the RNR burger ordered medium well and it was over cooked and dry. My husband had the wings, or their version, he thought they had too much vinegar but I liked them. Tacos were nothing to write home about. Overall it was what we expected, and would go back if I had a large group again. Live music was great! They had an awesome singer that night.
This outside dining spot looked promising, so I made an Open Table reservation. About 15 min after I arrived and told them I had a reservation, I got an email saying my reservation had been canceled by the restaurant. When I asked about it, I was told that the hostesses just click any button that pops up to get the reservation out of their system. So much for earning points.
Dinner was ok but not great. It took forever for my drink to arrives, and the Brussels sprouts were still crunchy when they arrived.
When I went to pay, I saw a charge for a "processing tech fee." When I asked what that was, I was told it was the charge to run my credit card. What restaurant in this day and age tacks on a credit card processing fee?
RnR is an awesome bar that is great for catching any sports game. They have great food and the atmosphere is fun!
This place does not actually use open table. Luckily, it did not affect our day as there was plenty of seating available when we arrived.
Basically a bar
Great experience. Was in town to watch Spring Training.
