Our server Amy was very attentive and the Manager, Bailey, was courteous and made excellent margaritas!
The food was fantastic. The service was terrible. Three people asked if we had menus, yet there was nothing on the table so it was pretty obvious. No ice in the water. We asked for a second basket of chips for our queso and it took three people to get it. Not really sure what was going on but thank God the food made up for it.
I wouldn’t consider this to be the best Mexican food in Dallas, but it was good for what it was. It’s pretty hard to mess up Tex Mex as my friend said. The margaritas (on the rocks) were too sweet, and the service was not as good as expected for a slow time of day. Wasn’t even offered to refill my water. Over all I think it’s a nice place for dining out on the patio when weather permits. I’d give it another chance in the future.
Arrived with a reservation and initially was turned away because the "system was down". We had just paid to UBER there and had cash so manager said he would take us. Only 3 tables were occupied. Ended up being GREAT SERVICE, GREAT FOOD, and VERY NICE experience. Can't wait to come back. And the system came up during the time we were there, so we were able to use credit after all. Best Mexican food I've had in YEARS!
Average. Tough steak in fajitas. Small guacamole with a piece of plastic wrapping. (Comped it which was very nice ). Too sweet margaritas. Service ok. Later ( 8 pm on a school night ) so quite empty quiet. Booths uncomfortable with unstable tables.
I pleasant surprise. The ambiance was soothing and the food was non traditional Mexican. Try the guacamole with crab and the combo plate with chicken and shrimp
The food was incredible!!!! Highly recommend!!!!
Went to celebrate my birthday and it was fantastic! Amazing food, good atmosphere and our server was attentive and knowledgeable.
Food & service was excellent. Water condensate dripping from ceiling on guests was not.
The restaurant is very nicely appointed... a step up from most Mexican restaurants. The food was very good, but very hot... as in spice, not temperature. All but two in our party of six are native Texans who grew up eating Mexican food..... we all thought the food was good, but the heat should have been taken down a notch or two.
Birthday of 20+
Our server was a little slow and unsure of himself. He forgot to ask if we wanted beverages besides the water and never asked which salad dressing my friend wanted. But overall it was a good experience
Dinner with friends before a concert.
Thank you for accomodating our reservation. Food was great. The room set-up was perfect.
The price was well worth it!
The ladies bathroom had 1 inch of water all over the floor. Not good. Not sanitary.
Wish the waiters came to clear the plates as we began the meeting portion of our event.
The curtains need to be repaired or replaced.
Hilario was a gracious host. Our waiter Bricardo was outstanding. The foodnis what onewould call fine Mexican cuisine and ambiance was amazing. I look forward to booking the place for my sister's birthday dinner.
Found this place on a business trip. Great service, food was good, and not too crowded. Combo fajita plate fed two of us.
Food and service were both great. Highly recommend it.
Great service Juan was one of the best waiters I have ever had definitely will be going back .
The food was absolutely amazing but our watier could use some work attitude was like he didn’t want to be there but overall food was wonderful l.
The combination fajitas were kinda average and not worth the 25$. The rest of the meal was fine. Bailey’s attentive service was appreciated.
OK so Open Table limits the party size to 20, I did have to call to make the reservation 26. I think close to 28 showed up (my daughter’s VBall team and all the parents). We all had a Blast. The food was delicious!! Everything came out at the same time, nobody complained about anything being too cold or not right. The chips and salsa were always filled. The drinks were well mixed, some of the drinks were strong.
When the time came to pay, the waitstaff divided the meal so we didn’t have to all chip in to a big bill and everyone left super happy. Thank you so much for a great evening!!!
Great food easy to find in the city. We had a good waiter
The team had a great experience. We had team members from our Maryland office in town and they absolutely enjoyed their meal. Thanks RJ Mexican. We’ll definitely see you again.
Enjoyed the meal and the setting. It was not outstanding but it certainly was good. Comfort food for me.
It was very pleasant!
Valentine’s Day. First date. I wanted things to be perfect and they were. Food was good. Service was awesome. Waiter didn’t over do it with asking us questions.
Our service was incredible. We had a group of 10 that had to be out at a certain time. Our server was so on it. The food was also very delicious. Everyone had something good to say. I’m surprised it was so dead.
This restaurant came up when I was looking for Mexican cuisine should actually be categorized as tex Mex.
Not the best value for your buck
The food was amazing, my only problem The waiter forgot to refill our chips and disappeared from our table for a while
Great place server was very courteous and helpful!
Attentive if haphazard service. Stellar food, delicious (but a bit overpriced) sangria swirl, and a really cool location in the West End. Looking forward to a return visit.
New Year’s Eve
I first ate their food at the Dallas Farmer's Market and loved it. Their restaurant is even better The food is great, service is prompt, prices are reasonable
Buffet was overpriced with limited option and poorly arranged
Christmas brunch tradition
Seated and then ignored. After several minutes of no one speaking to us or even acknowledging our presence, we left. Very disappointing.
The decor, food and service was excellent. I will go back when in town again.
Amazing service and food. The setting was very intimate and the waitress made me feel very special on my birthday.
while the 'upper management' seemed to be 'checking in' and occasionally clueless, the main staff worked flawlessly to make the night special. took FOREVER for chicken fingers, kids should be fed first so that they're occupied, and the waiter kept referring to the 3 year old as the baby, making her stomp her foot and get mad, but overall, the food was great, atmosphere and music fun, would have liked to see maybe dancing or something, was too energetic to keep sitting down.
Large bachelorette party. Made reservations 2 months in advance and they called and confirmed my reservation earlier in the day. When we showed up the manager acted confused that we were there and then set a table for 14 instead of 18 (which was what the reservation was for) and said he wouldn’t pull up another table unless we needed it. We did, so he did. Two waiters introduced themselves as our waiters and we only saw one from then on. Waited 35 minutes for first round of drinks with not even one stop by our table explaining why they were delayed or when they’d be on their way. The food wasn’t that great (very spicy and light on the sauces) and the atmosphere was “fancier” than I expected when the style of food and drink really doesn’t match that. It was very quiet too but none of that would’ve been a big issue, mostly it was just horribly slow service with a rude manager who clearly didn’t want us there. The credit I will give is the owner ended up giving us first round of drinks free due to the wait and rude manager. I chalk it up to a bad manager on staff that night. We ate at 3Eleven for brunch (same owner) and had a wonderful experience.
