   As most of the reviews have said, Rizzo's House of Parm is an awesome little restaurant for Italian food. I wanted to write this review because of all the reviews I have read no one mentions the stuffed shells. These are pasta shells stuffed with a ricotta and the perfect hint of lemon filling, subtle not overpowering. They serve five (medium size) stuffed shells on a layer of Rizzo's house made marinara sauce and are covered with a layer of melted cheeses for $25 (at the time of this review). They are very, very delicious! However, as I mentioned they are a medium size shell, not the really large stuffing shell and they are not served with any side dish. I would have liked to have seen a slice of focaccia or some simple greens on the side. They do make a perfect shareable or even an appetizer.

   I don’t think there is any way our experience could have been better. The staff at Rizzo’s is outstanding, the food is incredible. The space is small, but that increases the neighborhood feel. Every single person, staff included, had a smile on. You can tell everyone that works there enjoys it. Auntie Ang’s Wings are a standout on the menu, and you can pump that Parm Dip they come with straight into my veins. Matty’s Bolognese is different from any I’ve had, the braised meats are a welcome change to the ground meat that is usually used. The stuffed shells are on point as well, the ricotta is fantastically creamy. Unreal experience all around. 5/5, 10/10, 18623/18623 whatever. It’s great.

   I was blown away! Some of the best food I’ve ever had. And the customer service was a 10/10. I highly recommend the mozzarella sticks and carbonara ! You will not be disappointed, don’t forget to get the tiramisu for dessert :) :)

   Love the Wedge Salad. Crisp, Fresh, and a generous chunk of Blue Cheese. Love the Creamy Polenta. Really enjoyed the Calamari with dipping sauce Really enjoyed the focaccia Everyone enjoyed their pasta choices. Service is excellent !!! An all around good spot for a family Sunday dinner

   This restaurant is known for its simple dishes and the parmesan dishes are all very good. Most of the pasta dishes are good as well other then the Linguine with Clams. I ordered this dish and found that it was not like the traditional take on this dish. It had very few clams and lots of anchovies. The taste of the anchovies was so powerful there was not room for other flavours. I would not recommend this dish. The service was excellent and the food arrived in good time.

   Drove over an hour and a half to get there and I can’t wait to do it again! The food was absolutely top notch. Cocktails were delightful. Stephannie was our sever and she was outstanding. We got to see true grace and professionalism when the table beside us had an issue (which by the way was in no part having to do with Rizzo’s) The vibe in there was so welcoming. Cannot wait to go back!

    Great pasta and Parm…..eggplant was amazing - 28 layers. Favourite at the table for dessert was the brownie and mint choc chip ice cream. Tiramisu was a bit different, and not to my liking, but the table had no trouble finishing it off.

    Must say the Parm was good. But a few issues. Service was just "ok". Appetizers were good but very small for the price. $11 for 2 very small pieces of garlic bread. Calamari app was also quite small for $16. Difficult to order 4 apps for a table of 4 and share - because they are just small! The decor is also just ok - maybe people still like light oak paneling with brass accents? Just felt off and dated for a "new" place. Enjoyed the Parm though. More likely to order take out Parm in the future and skip the apps.

    Aaaaamazing! If you love Italian food then you will LOVE Rizzos House of Parm. I didn’t want my pasta to end. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce, oh the sauce! Just the best! The mozzarella sticks were the best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had, and best part, you get to dip them in the SAUCE! Just go, you won’t be disappointed!

    Our table had calamari, meatballs, both green salads, veal parm, eggplant parm and pasta in clam sauce. All was delicious! The men at our table were dissapointed that no bread was served to dip into the leftover sauces.

    It appeared this establishment is looking for high turnover. We were aware the website states time limits for tables, but we felt very rushed, even with a reservation. Our appetizer came out at the same time as our mains. We had a table for 2, and noticed the table was very small, and very close to the next table as well. Rizzo's serves their spaghetti on a separate plate from the parms, which is fine, however when your apps and mains are on a tiny table together, and your main is broken into 3 plates, there was no room at all to eat. The atmosphere was very loud, but everyone was enjoying. The food was tasty, well executed and to the point.

    the only reason i gave 4 stars on the food was because i thought the chicken parm was a little dry maybe under the broiler too long to melt the cheese? the salad was dynamite very fresh. All in all it was a great experience and we will be back again!

    I had been looking forward to going to Rizzo’s since before it opened, and the month long wait from the time I made the reservation til the meal was absolutely worth it. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, service was quick, and most of all the food was AMAZING. It was like I was in grandmas kitchen with homemade, comfort food vibes, but elevated. Can’t wait to go back.

    Our reservation was for Wednesday, February 22nd at 8pm when there was a snow storm, so there were 2 other people seated when we got there and they were on their way out. We were the only people in the restaurant which is why my review reflects that it was quiet - I’m sure the noise level is very different when the place is packed like it normally is. This was a wonderful set-up for our first experience. Nobody made us feel unwanted or unwelcome despite the fact they probably would’ve loved to call it an early night. Our server was lovely, she joked about how she’d have to bump up the entertainment and asked about our puppy. Didn’t bother us while we were eating. We were celebrating my birthday and started with calamari but they also brought us mozzarella sticks on the house. Both the calamari and mozza sticks were phenomenal - the sauce you get with the calamari is to die for and mozza sticks were easily the best I’ve had. For our main dishes we ordered the linguine + clams and the carbonara to share. The carbonara was okay (why I rated 4/5 for food); I was expecting a nice thin, silky sauce but it was fluffy like mac’n’cheese. Taste was a 6.5/10 despite the texture. The linguine + clams was 11/10. I had an idea of what it would taste like in my head and it completely met and exceeded my expectations. I liked that I didn’t have to fuss with shells and could just enjoy it. I put in an order to go because I knew I would want it again today. They asked about dessert and I said I planned on getting the tiramisu but was simply too full. They put one in my to-go bag on the house anyway. (Literally wtf so nice??!?!?!!) The whole vibe is incredible - from the outside of the building to sitting down at your table, it feels like you’re being transported outside of Ridgeway. Everything was exceptionally clean and overall very cozy. Value got 4/5 stars because there’s certain things (like non-alcoholic drinks) that are pricey. But I will 1000% be back again.

    We all had either chicken or veal parmesan and it was all awesome. The side of pasta is cooked perfectly & the sauce is legit (& I’m Italian!). It was our 3rd visit and each meal was consistently delicious….we’ll be regulars as long as you keep doing what you do! Thank you!!

    its pretty underwhelming for what it's supposed to be. maybe that's because im italian, make my own sauce and am used to eating pasta with the exact same taste. But i suppose if you're not, it's a totally different flavour. 2 adults and 1 kid with 1 glass of wine for each adult, 1 kids menu item, stater and 2 entrees was $150 total after 20% tip. Paying for italian food hurts because its so basic

    The food was excellent, it was worth the 2 hr drive from Toronto - only complaint was we asked for some potatoes without cheese on them, but they came with cheese on them so we had to wait for it to be corrected - other than that, excellent!

    Delicious flavour for all our choices being calamari, veal and chicken parmesan. The patio will help with customer service as far as reserving a table. Accessible parking spot needs to be moved over one spot. It was too tight
