Winery
Rizzo Winery is a boutique winery nestled in the Eola-Amity Hills, a windy viticultural area of the famous Willamette Valley. Named after our winemaker, David Rizzo, we consider ourselves the Winemaker’s Wine, as we are true to liquid greatness and use skilled winemaking techniques.

Take in our stunning views and sip the afternoon away. We offer tasting flights, glass pours, and bottle purchases of not only estate wines from our Pinot Noir, Muscat Canelli, and Viognier grapevines, but also our bolder red wines created from Oregon's Columbia Valley. We have such an array of different styles of wine, you're sure to find something you love!

Cute tasting room. Great wine, food, and stories. We appreciated the offer to take our picture out on the deck as none of us thought to ask. He told us the best places to stand and took some great photos. The property is beautiful and we look forward to returning in the spring when we can enjoy the outdoors.

The owner and his daughter are so nice and personable, they make you feel like you're family or close friends. Very inviting. We ended up joining the winery club. The wine selection was amazing. We tried about 10 different wines and loved almost all of them. The wood fired pizza, delicious. They're open all year long on weekends only, rain or shine. Definitely recommend you to go.

A very peaceful experience for wine tasting and related snacks. The view makes you feel like you are in Tuscany Italy. The wine choices are excellent and go well with the pizza oven delight. The Manager Bahar is amazing and she does everything to welcome you and serve you. The wine club works well with varied selections.

One of the best winery views I've seen. Already committed to going at least once a quarter to see the changing scenery. Wonderful, personal service without any upsale gimics. Food was served on cute boards or in small lipped dishes, typical winery fare but the display, service, and view made it that much better. The wine was good and we bought a couple bottles to bring home. Truly one Salem areas best kept secrets - I hesitate to write this because I want to keep it quiet and serene.

The tasting room has ample outdoor seating as well as indoor options available the flights are reasonably priced for the quality of the wine. The staff are always exceedingly friendly and knowledgeable about the wine and you will be hard pressed to find a better value for your money on the bottles.

What a delightful experience! Molly is so passionate about this lovely vineyard & winery and we found out why. Their wines are outstanding on either flite and beautiful views. Moose the vineyard dog is precious. We had the fortune to have the owner Rizzo on site to meet making our experience even more memorable. Definitely a gem! Did we mention the menu with nice variety of meats, cheese, delicious pickle options& nuts. Thank you!

The wines are quite good, especially the Reds. I cannot comment too very much on the food, as we did not spend a great deal of time focused on the area. But the Baguette, vinegar and oil we received was more than ample and of very good quality. ----- The highlight of our visit to Rizzo, however, was the Director of Operations and Wine Room Manager, Mali Lubash. One very remarkable young woman and a real asset not only to Rizzo but to wherever she might go. This young Lady has her head securely screwed on, knows her business, and is a real asset to the Oregon Wine Industry. Or, so I opine.

Rizzo WineryResponded on August 24, 2021Thank you so much Bob for the kind words and glowing review. I can't wait to have you two back in the Tasting Room!

This is a little hidden gem of a place. Good Wine, Great Service! Molly, the wineries manager and so much more, is very knowledgable on all things wine and a very warm person. If you want a quiet place with a great view and great wine, this is the place!

Rizzo WineryResponded on August 24, 2021We also feel like a hidden gem, though we're off the path just a bit, the view is 100% worth it. We loved having you in our Tasting Room & can't wait to host you again!

I love this place - a hidden gem. It is like being with family and on your own back deck - but with a much more beautiful view. Also, I love the fact that they do so many different varietals BESIDES Pinot - although their Estate Pinot was quite yummy. You have got to try the Carmeniere - a 'Jurassic" grape with hints of jalapeno that is amazing. And the Petit Verdot is OUTSTANDING. Not to mention, the wines are extremely well priced for the quality that you are getting. Mali, the server, really knew her stuff. She not only relayed the standard info you usually get about their vintages and vineyards but she also knew the history of the different grapes as well as could answer any of the questions I threw her way including many about the other wine regions worldwide that shared these different varietals. She was quite impressive and very entertaining. Finally, I love that you can get charcuterie here. So many places do not offer this option and it is great to sit on the patio and have an outstanding glass of wine, or two, and some yummy locally-sourced snacks, soaking in the views of the vineyards while Rizzo's pet cows (Mali can tell you their names) wander in the distance. A truly wonderful afternoon that I can't wait to do again as the weather warms up.

Mali was an outstanding host in Rizzo's cozy & elegant tasting room. She gracefully took us through the delicious wines one by one at the perfect pace, while also pointing out the vineyard that the tasting room overlooks. The view is spectacular and you can even see the rescued animals the winery owns! We took home more than a few bottles of their wine and will definitely be back to enjoy the patio in the summer. Rizzo is also conveniently located close to other great wineries and we can't wait to revisit!

Rizzo WineryResponded on August 24, 2021Thank you, Chelsey! We'd love to have you and Kevin in the Tasting Room again. We have made some changes since you've last visited, both to the flight and our patio, and would love for you to see them!
