Great outdoor venue for dinner.
Food and service good and music was great! Overall great evening with friends!

Terrible service. 45 mins and we never saw our waitress. Waited 25 mins at the table with no acknowledgement before finally going back to the hostess stand to see if we had been assigned a wait person. I let her know nobody had been over to our table since she seated us. She said our waitress knew we were there and would be coming soon. 10 mins later...still nothing.

Finally, we were relieved to see the manager heading our way, only to realize he was stopping at the table next to us. They were having a horrible experience as well. They were not acknowledged for a long time either. When their drinks finally came, they were informed that they were out of 7-Up, sprite, ginger ale etc. Huh? Can you imagine if only a grocery store or convenience store carried these rare and exotic flavors? Anyways...I digress. Our table neighbors told us how bad their experience was and suggested we go elsewhere.

45 mins into this nightmare with no acknowledgement and we decided to pack up and leave.

I decided on the way out, I should “give the manager a piece of my mind” ... only to find him preoccupied with ANOTHER complaining patron. Wow...rough night...for all.

We came here for the menu and the view. This is a poor man’s version of a nice restaurant. They didn’t know how to cook steaks, lobster, or calamari. The lobster was complete mush. It’s the worst I have ever had.

The real problem was the staff. The little girl at the front was extremely rude and lacked basic customer service skills. Our server was very inattentive. She ignored refills, our orders were wrong, and she took 20 minutes after we asked for the check.

We had a reservation they didn’t honor. They told us it’s first come first serve. Then why do you have reservations? There were two older couples behind us who had reservations and they were extremely unhappy as the same girl was rude to them and wouldn’t honor their reservations either. Management lets things like this happen. I blame them.

Our table was also slanted and wobbly.

We are locals, not vacationers. We ranged in age from 6-63. I am in my mid 30’s. We still tipped 30%. It wasn’t us. This place just sucks.

Who ever was doing the live music was awesome and the view is fantastic. Just don’t plan on enjoying yourself or your meal. I would come for drinks only.

Nice selection of seafood options to choose from. For those wanting something different you have some diversification of items to choose.

We ate inside and were all very happy with our dinners. Definitely will go back again. Outdoor patio looked awesome as well.

We love Dockside and go often, the food is always good, but this time we tried a few different items we hadn’t ordered before ( clam chowder and fish and chips), and would not order them

Had a reservation- got a bad table and they wouldn’t change it. Very rude hostess. Chairs are mesh and have huge indentations in them. Very uncomfortable. Food was ok. Not great just ok. I will say our waitress was wonderful. Oh and drinks are totally watered down - stick with wine.

This restaurant offers dockside views at reasonable prices. Outdoor entertainment was perfect for this location and our waiter was attentive yet was covering a lot of tables. I had the meatloaf which was filling and others in our group had seafood options which they said was very good. It was very noisy inside due to a few larger groups but all were having a great time. Give it a try!

One star is an understatement. Had a reservation for 7pm outside. Got to the restaurant at 6:45 the hostess was nowhere to be found. Finally checked in 7 mins later and she said she would text when the table was ready. I waited until 7:15 to check on the table again and she said there was nothing available outside I would have to sit inside. Fine, as long as I can eat because at this point with 2 children we are starving. Sever took 10 minutes to even acknowledge us. Ordered food, 10 mins later find out it's not available and I have to order something else. Needless to say they are so very understaffed and I feel bad for the servers. We had a wedge salad, barely and bacon on it and very pathetic serving size. Lobster bisque, way to salty. Lobster Mac, so bland the only thing I ate was the lobster. The kids cheeseburger and chicken tenders were the best thing on the table. Our server tried his best but when you are that understaffed it makes it hard. Overall it took over 2 hours to get mediocre at best food. Wouldn't recommend.

Great outdoor seating and view--we watched the full moon rise over the marina. The food and service was good and the duo playing (Stockton Brothers) was great. They added to the ambience but you could still talk to each other if you wanted. Excellent evening.

Waited 1 and 1/2 hours for our table with a reservation. They assign you a table before you arrive. If group doesn’t leave you are out of luck. Others with later reservations came and were seated. Eventually seated in bar when the table wasn’t leaving. Bartenders said waitress had to wait on us and the waitress told us it was the bartenders job. Took another 20 minutes just to get menus. Then waited. Finally went to the hostess who sent someone over to take our order.45 minutes later food food came. If you like sushi- order the grouper- it was under cooked essentially raw. It was also covered with an extremely spicy sauce that burned your lips. My wife who likes spicy food could not eat it. Also noticed several orders of the same dish heading back to the kitchen. Had the burger asked medium well- it was raw too. Waitress who didn’t think we were her table never asked about the food and just came by to leave the check. Didn’t eat really any of the food. Stopped at McDonald’s on the way home - at least the food was edible.STAY AWAY.

After being seated we had to wait 15+ minutes before a waiter came to take our drink order. The food was good but not great. Easily our least favorite meal we’ve had while visiting the area and definitely not worth $30 a plate.

In short words. We had a great lunch and will come again.

The ambiance was great but my meal - fish, chips and cocoanut shrimp - was just mediocre.

It was a chilly night. We came to see Tony and Natasha but it was too cold. You should have the portable heaters going

My guests and I were pleased with Riviera Dunes overall. We sat outside for lunch, enjoyed our food, had very good service from Quentin who was good at his job and a really nice guy as well. The restrooms were dirty - a real disappointment. Makes you wonder about the kitchen. Otherwise a good experience.

Had a wonderful dinner here Saturday night. Sat outside and enjoyed the live music. It was a little chilly but that didn’t deter us! The staff all wore masks which made us very comfortable. Food was delicious at a very reasonable price which included an amazing marina view. We have added this to the list of our go to restaurants.

Great view at yachts tied up at the dock.
Food for good, our waiter Jim was attentive and prompt.
Our table had quite a slant to it, would be my only critique.
Will return for sure.

Great place to enjoy water views & also great food & entertainment. Only complaint is that we asked for 2 glasses of wine/cocktails (for each of us, so 4 drinks) within the happy hour & she charged us more because she didn't get into computer on time. When I asked, she said there was nothing she could do. Clearly her fault but we had to pay more because she messed up. She had over 10 min to get the drink order into the computer. Apologies don't pay the bill. Otherwise, very good.

We always love the atmosphere at Dockside. We love the live music every night and their happy hour is great! What's really nice is that we stay close by and can walk to dinner.

The inside of the restaurant could definitely use an update and the cleanliness is suspect as the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacumed in days. The coleslaw that we asked if it was "creamy" and were told yes, we ordered an extra side of. It was NOT creamy and the dressing looked and tasted like it had been "watered down". Just a wet mess.

Our group of 5 all enjoyed our meals. High praise on swordfish with brushetta.

Five people. Two fish and chips, two jambalaya is and 1 Cobb salad..... all enjoyed.

Very nice evening outside dining with live music

Very disappointed in our experience. We had issues with our order not being prepared as ordered. Our server didn't return, but we notified the manager, who said he would take care of it. In short the meal didnt arrive until well after the rest of the party had finished. The manager was very rude and unapologetic. While we can understand that mistakes happen, the managers response was unacceptable and we will never return.

Group of 7 was accommodated with outside seating late on a busy Saturday afternoon. Overall it was great...
