   I’m a huge Fabio Viviani fan so when this restaurant popped up on OpenTable, I jumped at the chance to eat here. I’d say it was good, not as great as his NYC restaurant. Menu was super small but I really enjoyed what I ate. I had the salad and pasta with clams. Very solid and tasty.

   We had Giselle for dinner last night, and Jen for breakfast this morning. Both servers or excellent, and their recommendations or a spot on! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal dinner meal last night, it was very tasty and there was no leftovers and everyone commented on how delicious the meal was! The same could be said for this morning’s breakfast, with the addition of having Jen, as a fellow Astro fan, it made this morning’s breakfast super special. Great job to the entire team, you did it!

   Food was very underwhelming. We had the meatballs for appetizer, which was pretty good to me. The drinks were just okay. I had the lamb, which was good but small portion. It would’ve been nice if they paired it with potatoes, it was just lamb and sliced carrots. My wife had the seafood pasta; it had calimari, shrimp, clams but she didn’t like it at all. To make matters worse, service was suuuuper slow. There was hardly anyone in there either. Meatballs were good, but I could not recommend for the price point or the food. Needless to say, we would never return.

   I visit FLL and FL every year and this dinner was by far the worst service, food and value so far. The lamb was fatty, the steak overcooked and our waitress while nice was absent- a lot. And she only had a few tables. The other wait staff ignored us too when we tried to get their attention. Very disappointed and will not be visiting again.

   We walk by here every day and decided to dine here. Great ocean view, server was excellent And the chicken Milanese was amazing! thankfully we shared it as we had a couple of apps! Our favorite app was the meatballs Texture and flavor was perfect and the gi grilled bread was a nice touch! Drinks were also very good.

    What a disappointment the food took so long an hour and still waiting so we left. We got drinks right away we finished them waiter came serval times tel us our food is coming and nothing food took forever. Even when waiter came to check he didn’t even ask if we wanted more drinks. Save yourself time and go somewhere else.

    We got sat and waited 30 minutes before going back to the host stand to see if they could check on why a waiter had yet to come to greet us at our table. After returning to the table we waited 20 more minutes before a server took our drink order. We knew what we wanted to eat as we had almost an hour to review the menu, the server left without allowing us to place a food order. 4 other tables were sat after us but served well before us. 3 people at the table next you us that came in after us ordered the short rib and they ran out of it so I couldn’t have what I wanted. I ended up with a basic pasta dish.

    We have been at this restaurant a number of times. But have to say that the quality has continued to go down. The mussel appetizer lukewarm. Pasta dish orachetti was over cooked and didn’t not taste like fresh pasta. Service was Good presentation sub par. Last time we were here with a group entrees took way To long to be served. This time food quality was Not spot on. Perhaps the chef should s new. Won’t be recommending restaurant anymore and probably will not be back.

    Everything is pretty good (except tons of, always the same, decorative "grass" all over every plate) but $8 for a bottle of still water is outrageous! And tonight the kitchen was probably in a rush, the main courses arrived 5/10 minutes before we finished the appetizers. In this kind of restaurant I expect a little more.

    We only gave overall rating due to the food. I would have expected more flavor, more style, more color however very disappointed in flavor (and I had lobster dish), and the fact that everything just had tons of “greens” on top!!! The gelato at dessert was the best part!! Service was awesome and ambiance perfect…….improve the food dude!!!!!!

    Ate hear during flibs. I get that it's the busiest week of the year, but the service for dinner was awful! We had a reservation and we're seated immediately but it took over 40 min to get our food and drink orders in. Then other 30 min to get a second round of drinks. Our server was trying hard, but he just had too many tables. Clearly management did not staff adequately. Also the hotel offers complimentary drink vouchers, but the restaurant only allows it for vodka drinks?! Like at least offer a house wine or any well drink. The food, when it finally came, was amazing every time!

    The salad was very good. Wine list was average. The rigatoni came out cold. We asked for a hot one and they must have reheated it and turned it to mush. Then drowned it in too much sauce. It was disgusting.

    After reading the reviews, I wasn’t looking for much. But, most of the meal surprised me. We had assorted small plates, which serve the table well. The entrées were acceptable, but the spaghetti was not. It was over sauced, and certainly not worth the price. overall, an acceptable yet mediocre presentation, and very slow service made the experience less than acceptable.

    Food was actually very good. Atmosphere was a bit of a mish mash where spaces were large and somewhat undefined. We sat at tables that were part outside but the cavernous inside bar space loomed over us in an uncomfortable way. The food was creative and delicious but the space wasn’t conducive to enjoy it. It is important to note that the space is part of a hotel so some of the hotel guests dining were a little underdressed, in my opinion. A ton of potential at this location but there needs to be some interior design work to accomplish the vibe that the food deserves. I felt that we overpaid for the collective experience but the food held it all together and will be the reason we go back.

    The food was presented beautifully, everything was fresh and each dish (and we had 5) exceeded our expectations. I ricotta was so fresh, they must have a cow in the kitchen! Loved every bite and the service was gracious and well versed in the cuisine, everyone greeted us with a smile!

    My wife and I are frequent diners @ Riviera however we likely will not return (unfortunately). It seems that management has taken a number of dining selections off the menu WITHOUT REPLACEMENT and now the menu is extremely limited and costly for what it is. The food (what's left of it) is excellent but since the menu is so scant, how many times can one return to eat the same choices. Its a shame since this restaurant was a hidden gem but now seems as though they won't make it much longer.

    Riviera never disappoints! While the ‘summer menu’ is still in place, like 4 or so dishes are removed for the time being, it still gives a great variety of delicious dishes. The service was, as always, outstanding. Our sever Samantha is a gem. Professional, kind and swift in her service - she’s just great! We were sitting on the terrace and the views, overlooking the ocean, never get old. The Ragu was delicious, the chicken Milanese was outstanding, so were the appetizers (black hummus & charred octopus). Riviera is a bit off the the ‘beaten path’ but totally worth it. You won’t be disappointed!

    Such a disappointment. The wine and cocktails were good. Actually all the food tasted ok, not great, not awful. Just ok. What was extremely disappointing was the boy that served the food. We ordered a meatball appetizer. When he brought it to the table he said “here’s you spaghetti.” Not a single noodle in the dish, yet he called it spaghetti. Then, when the entrees were placed on the table he once again said here’s your spaghetti. It was rigatoni. Big tubes of pasta, not spaghetti noodles. Come on now. It’s an Italian restaurant. At least know what is being served. The menu is not large, so knowing them shouldn’t be a big deal. The limoncello cake was frozen. I know limoncello is frozen, but neither of us believe that the cake was meant to be frozen. The ambience was non-existent. Just a generic restaurant with a bar. You could hear the screaming kids in the lobby of the hotel that the restaurant is part of. Not very conducive to a romantic anniversary dinner. We had high hopes for our dinner, but won’t go back.

    Alexander - the bartender/server - was phenomenal! Impeccable service with a warm, energetic, eager, and friendly personality. The drinks were all delicious and his service and demeanor were definitely a highlight of our visit. Although I did not catch her name, the hostess with the mostest was also a delight - pleasant, thorough and friendly. The food came out quickly and was on par with the service! Have already begun recommending Riviera by Favio Viviani to others!
