   With the prices that I saw online, I thought it would be a restaurant with tablecloths . It was very informal, which is fine, but the food was mediocre at best. There were four of us, and no one was overjoyed with their selection. The prices were out of line. For instance six dollars for two slices of corn bread which is absolutely crazy. The cornbread wasn’t even outstanding. Service was excellent.

   Good food; not outstanding. Speciality drinks weren’t special. Actually they were very disappointing given the price; “meh” comes to mind. Great setting on the River. Highly attentive staff. Broad selection of food. I’d go back to try other things.

   I came back to this restaurant after 2-3 years. The location along the canal is great but unfortunately the food quality is not as good as before. The clam chowder was extremely fatty and greasy. They no longer served the delicious shrimp salad that for some reason is not anymore in the menu. Prices is too expensive for the food quality. I don’t think I will be back to this restaurant.

   Staff and customer service was amazing. Along with our waitress, each staff member that passed by our tables checked on us and other guests just to see if we needed anything and we okay. McKenzie was a pleasure to have assist us. Food was okay, maybe could’ve been a bit better but overall I enjoyed it. I loved the outdoor seating. Great breeze underneath the patio so it was still comfortable. Would return for sure.

    Everything was delicious, the cornbread appetizer was different and so yummy. Our waiter Ray gave great service and his recommendations were spot on. We will be back & people watching was an added bonus.

    Birthday celebration gone wrong. Just kidding! The food is really good. We had the seafood platter. And yes, it was a platter consisting of 2 platters of surprise seafood. Overall it was above average.

    Had a lot of fun celebrating my birthday with friends. We shared the smoked fish appetizer that was delicious. I had the tuna salad, and my friends had the park crusted trout and salmon entrees. All were wonderful. Then shared a piece of Key Lime pie for dessert. All yummy and perfect!

    We had Ian as our waiter and he was fantastic. We were celebrating my birthday and the entire evening was spot on. I had blackened Mahi Mahi and my husband the Snapper, Crab donuts & cornbread - everything was delicious! So, back to Ian - without us mentioning it- he caught that my drink was missing a lemon and also an order of chicken wasn't delivered with an order. We decided that even with the mistake we no no longer needed the chicken as we were full and wanted to go for a walk along the river and not carry food. The entire entree was removed ( and not necessary to to so) . We chose not to have dessert and a super cool huge sparkler was brought instead! So awesome! Beautiful location, view , exceptional staff & the food is top shelf. Thank you, for a memorable evening and we shall be back! :)

    Food was well overpriced for what is was. A $14 Caesar salad consisted of a plate of uncut lettuce with some dressing drizzled on top. Mahi was over cooked and dry. Extensive time spans in server attendance. There were mosquitos inside the restaurant.

    Impromptu date night led us to Rivertail. Food and drinks were great, though the cocktails came way after our appetizers were already brought out. Our server may have forgotten about us a few times and passed us by multiple times when there were empty plates or cups without checking in. The noise level was high but it was a Friday night. Still very much enjoyed the ambience and view to the river.

    Excellent service. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the happy hour goes until 7 on a Friday night. Great location if you want to eat by the water and also close to theaters.

    Had reservations today. Getting seated pour warm water in ice in glass. First sip long curly hair in my glass. Tell host. Bring new glass and cafe of water with ice. Thank them about to pour water into my glass see particles floating in water. Notify them asked if I want bottled water said yes if it’s cold and has a cap on it. Bring me water one glass had to ask for another one for my wife bring it no ice. At that point I should have left. Ordered chicken and waffles. Couldn’t cut the chicken with the butter knife wife had salmon. Gave tip left would not recommend it or return there again.

    First time having brunch at this locate , my husband and I decided to give it a try . Our waitress Lorel was nice the food came out hot , I ordered the bottomless mimosa , I tried the different flavors of mimosa , I was disappointed when the last mimosa tasted horrible and flat , I informed my waitress and she just brushed it off did not ofer to fix it , o well can’t win them all !

    Decide to try out before heading to the ELO Evil Women concert. Reserved a table, but opted to sit at the bar; good move. Bartender jumped into action, Raw Oyster delicious and nice size, ceviche tacos are a must, awesome, cornbread on point, smoke fish dip was excellent. Outside seating looks nice, but suggest you plan well in advance; very popular. Great atmosphere, we will be back … 👍🏼😁

    From other reviews, I was led to believe this was a good restaurant. Far from it. Every thing was tasteless. The crab donuts consisted of over mayonnaised crab salad in brioche balls. Not good. The parmigiana crusted trouts was flavorless. We ordered old fashions and they came without fruit or cherry. We had to send them back. Overall, a real bummer of a dinner.

    Was intially disappointed as the online menu showed lobster roll but the restaurant did not have one. They changed it to a fish roll. The crab donuts are a waste of money. They are overly salted (too much old bay or creole seasoning). However, The fish tacos and trout were good. The servers were friendly and helpful.

    We had a great experience. Our server was amazing. He was very attentive. Our food was late but we were in no rush. Our server was very apologetic we told him it was fine as we were not in a rush but he spoke to the manager anyway and got the drinks removed from our bill. Overall the atmosphere, food and service were all great and I would definitely go back next time I’m in the area.

    First time at the restaurant. It’s located in the Wharf so you have a very nice water view. Our server Christian was fantastic and the mahi and snapper were very good. Hash browns were a bit spicy but ok. Would definitely go back there again.

    The hostess were not helpful. I didn’t like the table that they assigned because the sun was right in our faces. I asked for other tables around and she sat us on the board walk. This was opposite of what I asked. I told her how the sun was in our eyes before she says yeah that’s only for ten minutes. By the River there’s lots of traffic off people running or walking. Didn’t get to enjoy the ambience. This was a special night and just felt I was pushed aside. Our waiter was good but seemed rushed. Food was okay.

    First time here. Had the wahoo and sent it back; overcooked. Got the Mahi as a replacement…better cooked but no flavor. Asian stir fry are over cooked and drenched in miso. This is not a locals restaurant. Too many great places to eat in fort Lauderdale to bother with this place.
