This was, as always a fabulous dinner.
Everything was great except they didn’t have Pinage though in the wine menu.
My husband and I had a wonderful date night here on a last-minute business trip. This place was recommended by so many, and it did not disappoint. We didn’t know to request the patio or atrium seating (a must!!!), so be sure to request. Luckily the hostesses were very kind and able to accommodate us with in there after a very short wait (post our original reservation time). We were happy to wait, as the ambiance in those rooms are part of the whole experience. The food was incredible, we had the rack of lamb, wedge salad, avocado jalapeño risotto, wild blueberry cobbler. Excellent drinks and wine, too. Menu is expansive and could have picked 15 other items! And the live pianist/vocalist was truly remarkable, what a gift she has!
Overpriced and not worth it. Had place reserved for a 2nd night days later and canceled it. This place is nothing special and the Forbes 4 star awards it displays are silly and make you think your in store for real treat and food is adequate at best and overpriced. They charged my daughter $21 for macaroni and cheese. And drink pours of wine and spirits are thimbal size but charge full price.
Beautiful location. Incredible service. And the food was great. I lovely special occasion date night place. Glad we found it.
Nice dinner with excellent service. Interesting menu and a nice location on Main Street. On the expensive side.
One of the best meals I’ve had!
We were celebrating just getting married and had the most amazing meal and service from Clair! She really made our night!
The food and all that work at Riverhorse are very professionally and the food is the best.
Amazing we went back again the next night!
This was our first visit but not our last. I would say this is one of the best restaurant in Park City. Food and service was excellent. We sat on the “patio” which is glassed in on the second floor. Nice Mountain View’s. Food is refined but not quite to the caliber of Mariposa in Deer Valley.
The staff was wonderful, they greeted us by name. Very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive without being intrusive allowing for uninterrupted conversation. We are pescatarian and there were so many options we had a hard time choosing. We started with the West Coast Oysters, for our entrees Local Rainbow Trout and Chilean Seabass & Rock Shrimp.
Our final dinner in Park City was at Riverhorse on Main and wow - the food was excellent and the ambiance was great. A singer/guitarist played all the hits. So much fun.
Brenda was fantastic! And the live music was great as well!
Wonderful evening... Especially enjoyed the vocalist!
We thought they were only open for dinner and were pleasantly surprised they had a Sunday brunch. Delicious food, great live music that was good for diverse crowd. Claire did a perfect job, excellent drink and food recommendations that did not disappoint.
Great food and ambience! They also had live music which we enjoyed! The food was a little salty though.
We couldn’t hear each other talk. The main dining room had live music. The musician was good, but it was just too loud so everyone has to raise their voices to talk.
We really enjoyed our dinner at River Horse on Main. From the Chef’s surprise to the vegan pineapple dessert—everything was delicious. The menu was so extensive it took us a while to decide what to order. We had a tuna trio for an appetizer and I ordered the local brook trout which was fabulous—even cold the next day. My son ordered another fish dish that was delicious too. Would definitely make it a point to eat here again when in Park City.
Service and drinks were good...... cuts of steak seemed to be good however they both were noticeably charred on the outside which presented itself into every bite.
Excellent again, dine here every time we are in town!
This is one of my wife’s favorite places. Since it was her birthday this was her choice. One of their specialties is Macadamia Encrusted Halibut. My wife orders nothing else. I like the specials and the Local Lamb.
Because of the popularity of Riverhorse it fills up nightly and a quiet conversation is not possible. They usually have live entertainment too.
The decor and table settings are very nice. Everyone went away happy.
This honestly could be the best meal I have ever had.
Truly exceptional dining in Park City. Great location right on Main. Scallops were to die for. Trio of Wild Game was fantastic!!
Whenever we are in Park City, we never miss the opportunity to dine at Riverhorse. Typically
there is nothing "typical" about the experience. The food is wonderful, creative with a purpose, executed with perfection, a wonderfully well rounded and impressive culinary experience. Great live music, excellent wine list. Despite its popularity, through the years I believe the restaurant has managed to feel remarkably approachable and down to earth. Reservations are always honored, and they run as close to on time as an incredibly busy restaurant can run. My best and favorite part of Riverhorse has always been the wait staff, so well educated in the restaurant and its brand, knowledgable with the menu, able to make great suggestions and time the meal, attentive and passionate and fun. My husband has always teased me that I rate the staff above the food, as good as it is, but for me sevice will make or break guest experience every time. The best chef in the world can't thrive if the front of the house runs wrong.
Last week, we dined at Riverhorse on Thursday night, and the service unfortunately was very very sub par, and my husband understood for the first time what I mean. It did take a big bite out of the experience- the timing from soup to nuts was way off,, couldnt find the waitress all night, and the main course, as good as is was when it finally came, was so late it mostly ended up in doggy bags, because hunger gives way to frustration, and too much wine, and then you dont eat...
It was the last night of our trip, so it all got left in the mini fridge. Friday after we checked out, I imagine our hotel staff had a feast. The food was wasted on us, but hopefully someone got to enjoy it after all....
I am sure Riverhorse ownership and Management knows, that no amount of money is worth diluting such a special brand. Don't book what you can't handle- I would rather be turned away, then pay to be treated like I wasn't there when I was!
Wonderful dinner. Food was creative and tasty. Service was great. They even covered our desert since it was our anniversary. The atmosphere is special and there was live music which added to the ambiance and it wasn’t too loud. The trio of game was great as was the house classic halibut. Would be happy to go back
Food was delicious but setting was very impersonable, not a place for a romantic dinner it seems more suited for larger groups. Lots of larger tables better suited to corporate business dinners or larger parties. Not very intimate if you are there for an anniversary
Always a favorite and never disappoints! Just took a group of friends who were in town to celebrate my birthday. They had heard me rave about it being my favorite and they were all extremely impressed and LOVED the food. Favorites of the night included the halibut, sweet potato gnocchi, the beet salad and the wild trio of meat.
It was my birthday, and I’ve never been to Riverhorse so we decided to go! Everything was over the top amazing and perfect, I had the lobster and scallop duo and it was the best I’ve ever had! My only complaint would be the noise level.. music was pretty loud, but even more obnoxious was the table behind us. Just very loud, drunk people which is not what you expect in a nice place like that. But overall I completely recommend this place to everyone!!!
This is a must-go restaurant in Park City. The entrance is so understated, so we didn't notice for the last five visits, until I read great reviews. It has become our favorite restaurant in Park City. Food was delicious, service was excellent, nice and welcoming ambiance, and perfect for apre-ski dinner. We will come back next year.
The front of the house service was excellent. Well done! The live music was outstanding. The back of the house (the food) needs a great deal of work to match the service. Although the food is decent, it does not match the service or the prices.
A really top notch restaurant with great food and service, comparable to a high end new york restaurant
Service was spectacular. Food was served beautifully and prepared with care. Halibut was delicious. Tomato soup has little bubbles of balsamic vinegar that added a surprise pop.
My wife and I come here on special occasions and we’re never disappointed. The food is excellent and the service is fantastic. This is the best fine dining experience in Utah.
The best restaurant by far that we visited in Park City. It’s well worth the money.
Thanks. Great Experience.
Our waitress - I believe her name is Nicole - was by far the best server we’ve ever experienced.
We love this place and are sure to visit every year when we travel to Park City! Amazing food and love the atmosphere.
