   A beautiful, intimate, and delicious afternoon tea. Worth every penny. Plenty of parking. Staff was helpful to take pictures and provide a highchair.

   We came last year and were treated so much better than this time. My Mom is 82, and our table at the back of the room had an air vent directly under her seat and she was freezing. Instead of moving us to a better table, the wait staff tried to put a cloth over it. I ended up putting a plate on it and sat there myself. And we had more tea provided for us last year, but this time, when the tea pot was empty, that’s it buddy! No more tea for you! For $83, gratuity included, we won’t be returning.

   We are so sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. Tea is bottomless and always available for more when your teapot is empty. Sometimes our staff cannot tell if you have run out, so always feel free to flag us down and let us know you'd like another pot! I apologize that the air was blowing too cold for your comfort. We had a full room coming in on Friday so keeping things cool in this summer heat is necessary. With seating designed for optimum table turn over, it can make things difficult to switch tables. I am glad our staff tried to help by covering the vent for you to help resolve the issue! We understand you might not be back, but we just wanted to clarify your issues in case that changes.

   I brought my mother for afternoon tea and from the moment we arrived everything was extra special! Easy parking and we were warmly greeted by the host as soon as we walked up the steps. We had a lovely table at the window in the bright open dining room. The tea selection was wonderful, the food was pretty and delicious, plus the hosts went out of their way to take inside and outdoor photos of us. The true southern hospitality really shined and I can’t wait to return!

   Amazing experience. My four year old granddaughter enjoyed it and hasn’t stopped talking about it.

   Tea room had a nice atmosphere. I felt the cost was a bit much for what was served. Everything was just mediocre. Nothing really special about it and I would not return.

   My family’s Tea experience at Riverdale Inn was a huge disappointment. The food was lacking in every aspect. While serving chicken and egg salads seemed perfectly acceptable for a Tea, the Greek spinach triangles were limp, greasy and flavorless. Telling the establishment about strawberry allergy went unnoticed. The strawberries were the biggest thing on the three tiered server.

    Nothing special here….. food was fresh and nicely presented for high tea on a three tiered tray, but little niceties of elegance were definitely missing…. One pot of hot water for the table instead of individual, no where to put used tea bags, paper tablecloths, no background music and no matching aprons or teeshirts even for the servers…. Just average and mediocre experience. Won’t be going back.
