First time dining here and the service was great. Our waiter was very friendly, helpful and pleasant to engage with. The Crab Gumbo was underwhelming, but ok. It lacked flavor for a good gumbo. The Chilean Sea Bass was great. Cooked to perfection with great flavor; highly recommend. The Louis Martini Cabernet Napa Valley was good and recommend to allow it to breathe for 20 -30 minutes as the flavor comes out more. Meals are very pricey, but no complaints with the Chilean Sea Bass.

The service was outstanding! Our server was so attentive.
However, the Chilean sea bass wasn’t as good as I expected and the baked potato seemed old. It was very very dry and crumbled. But, our appetizers and desert was excellent and the other 2 in my party enjoyed their meals.

Rivas Crabhouse is where to go if you want great service and amazing good seafood. My friend and I made reservations at 7:45 on opentable. The website of opentable had their summer hours posted. So when they should have been closed they kept the restaurant open for us. We told the hostess we could go somewhere else but they insisted for us to stay. I’m so glad we did because that was the nicest service and some of the best seafood I had. Their portions are enormous and their restaurant week menu is a great deal.

The view is beautiful, food and wine is over priced, service is friendly and attentive before ordering, however, did not check back on food after being served. Both dishes were literally not edible. Swordfish on a bed of overcooked vegetables lacked taste, and the veggies were awful.
Salad was wilted and overdressed, did not eat it and no person came by to check to see why. Got the impression they don't really care if you like your meal or not.
would not go back ever for food, only for a drink because of the view

We had a perfect evening here. Our seating was at the window where we could watch people walking and the ice breakup. Our server was wonderful. He came at the right times without being instusive. The main attraction here however is the food. The lobster bisque was heavenly, served piping hot. The seafood risotto was crammed with mussels, crab, calamari, shrimp, and half a lobster. We were really too full for dessert, but the gelato was a perfect ending. The wine list was good, with choices under $50.

We visited Riva before attending a production at Shakespeare Theater. Unfortunately the dining area was uncomfortably hot, probably due to the recent deep-freeze weather and large windows which would make balancing the temperatures difficult. That marred an otherwise charming dining experience. The food was wonderful and the service very good. My wife and both had the crab cakes, which were delicious and full of crab. Dessert was Key lime pie, also very good. We had to make a hasty exit to escape the heat, which was making my wife feel ill by the end of our meal.

We had our 13th anniversary dinner here. One of the best meals I’ve ever had!! I pre-arranged to have the chef come to our table. He created a special, off the menu, appetizer for us. It was awesome! The meal was also outstanding. I felt the price was great as well for what we got. Great service too! Can’t say enough good things. Would go back for sure!!!

Riva’s was amazing! I had my birthday dinner there along with 11 of my close friends. The service was impeccable! Alicia & Neal catered to our every need. I was so pleased with everything. Quality of the food was 5/5. No one (out of 12) complained about their food. It was just an amazing birthday experience.

We arrived early for our 5 pm reservations, so we went to the downstairs bar to have a drink and wait. The bartender was amazing, very friendly informative. Our seating was great with a beautiful view. I did not like how the servers and some of the other staff were just hanging out in the dinning area talking and seating around, I thought that was unprofessional. The hostess was not friendly. I was not pleased with our waiter at all, he was not friendly. I also did not appreciate every time my husband went to use the restroom that one of the servers kept coming over to flirt with me. The food was very delicious. I am unsure if I would come back even though the food was very good.

This was our first time at Riva. We went to Riva before a 1 pm matinee at the Shakespeare Theater and we thoroughly enjoyed both the meal and the performance. My wife had some gluten-free options and I had the Haddock and Chips. We were both very satisfied. Our server was very help in steering us to good food choices. When I asked about the Shrimp and Chips vs. the Haddock and Chips, he heartily recommended the Haddock . . . and he was not wrong. I wish my wife would have had a gluten-free soup choice. Hopefully, Riva will next time we go because there definitely will be a next time.

We set out reservation for 6 with a Shakespeare production at 8. Glad we got there a little early. The place had a small group when we arrived and was brimming when we left. Food was very good. Lobster tail a little overcooked, huge baked potato, excellent asparagus, chowder and dessert. Waiter had an excellent sense of humor and we received great service. I'd recommend. Pricey but appropriate for the venue and quality.

Service was excellent. The food fell short. The sashimi appetizer (tuna) was not fresh and tasted off. We have sashimi fairly regularly and this was bad. The steaks were good but the grilled halibut was off. For fresh fish, it was very gummy and fish tasting. The cocktails (Old Fashioned and Martini) were very good and well-executed.
