   The St. Regis resort on Longboat Key was amazing! The pool area and the beach views were beautiful! And we really enjoyed our experience at the Riva restaurant. We sat outside and the food and service were outstanding! Our server Kubra was very friendly and attentive. She gave us a lovely tiramisu dessert to celebrate our anniversary which made it even more special. For dinner, we had the baked meatballs for our appetizer and the Campanelle pasta for the main entree which were both excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

   We’ve been several times and every meal was delicious with unique flavor combinations. It’s a premium experience. Riva is one of our new favorites restaurants.

   Wonderful food. Prepared with care and presented beautifully by Jose our server . The Hotel is beyond amazing. Riva is worth it on every level.

   Very good food so fresh had the local grouper seems like it was fished the day off.. Steve was our captain he was great service of the finest made sure everything was special ty sir

   This was my second time at Riva and, sorry to report, the experience was disappointing on several fronts. Service was virtually non-existent after our order was taken. Nobody kept water or iced teas filled on a scorching day. Finally, after a long wait, the food arrived and two dishes were off. A "Cobb" salad was little more than drenched lettuce leaves, the costly burger was dry as a brick and served in a soggy bun sitting on paper. A redo of the burger came back messy and unappetizing. The ambiance? Hot, hot hot even in the shade, and no views to justify the drive. We are locals and were hoping for something special to justify the drive and parking. The place was maybe 20% occupied, and it was a quiet Monday, so it's not like we picked a busy moment. Other guests were commiserating about the long waits for everything. Honestly, Riva needs to improve radically front and back. Two employees sparkled but seemed equally frustrated. A manager appeared at the very end and listened attentively, but where was she as this poor experience unfolded?

   The server didn’t fire our entrees and came to ask what we would like for dessert not knowing we hadn’t had our entrees. Dirty plates sat in front of us over 20 minutes and when we finally got our entrees I had no silverware in which I had to get up and go get myself from another table. I expect a level of service far above what we had at the St. Regis
