Although the St Regis is beautiful this restaurant did not live up to what we thought about the St Regis brand. The food was not exceptional. We ordered a bottle of white wine and the entire bottle was poured for 4 people on the first pouring vs. being placed into an ice bucket and multiple smaller pours over the course of our meal. Although the staff was courteous there was nothing exceptional about the experience.

Fish special was rubbery. Chicken dish was fine but it was chicken. Pasta with chicken was enjoyable. Each had one glass of wine. Service was ok. Seemed to take a while just to get water. Overall, I would not return. For the $180 we paid, we have had much better food and service for less money at the Drydock one mile down the road.

Quite frankly, I was shocked at the quality not only in the food but the display for a hotel that’s supposed to be exclusive. First of all you can’t park your car on your own even if you’re just going for lunch it’s a $25 charge to park valet. They give you a discount so I brought it down to $10 if you eat one of their restaurants the food was iceberg lettuce in a bowl and when I say iceberg, I mean four pieces of iceberg lettuce, four pieces of bacon, and that was it for the salad. The fish came on another plate skin still on it, which I prefer not to eat. Basically two meals like that we went away hungry and it was $100 do the math they couldn’t even break down to give you a full head of lettuce or some other better greens. Like I said, very disappointed. Not only that, but the portions were extremely small. Our weight staff was kind generous and was very helpful . I could suggest several other restaurants which we enjoy immensely the shore, Chart house on the key or Capital Grill or Connor’s … much better food same price …
