AMAZING !!!!

Really enjoyed our dinner here at Riva. Their 5 course tasting menu was fantastic, can’t wait to come back to try the dishes we didn’t select. Service was outstanding and wine list very impressive as well. Can’t miss this if traveling to San Juan.

Trendy. Elegant. Class. Delicious. Everything that you would want from a dining experience. From the chic decor to upscale presentation, you will enjoy a five star overall experience. The owners and chef have done a wonderful job with curating the perfect tasting menu, not to mention having a well versed team to deliver a great product. It’s a glimmer of NYC within the diamond of Puerto Rico.

We went to have dinner with our 4 yo daughter. We were pleasantly surprised by the fine dinning experience. The recently opened restaurant by an NYC chef, offered a modest, but carefully curated wine list to create a perfect “maridaje” for the menú. You can choose between a 3 or 5 course dinner. I went for the 3 course thinking that 5 dishes would be too much food. However the delicate “bites” of the the first five course dinner is a must! The owner came out to cater our picky eater and made the perfect pasta with butter and cheese plate. Riva is a must in PR!

The service and food was absolutely amazing. There is one room off to the side where we were originally seated that was a little sad in ambience. When the staff intuited our concern, they moved us immediately. We absolutely loved it -- was a terrific meal!

Truly phenomenal service. Food was rich and decadent, perfect for a vacation. Ambience is a little sparse as the restaurant is configured for COVID times, but would still highly recommend.

Our experience did not live up to the 5-star ratings. Only the service was excellent. The food and ambiance were average. The room feels like a hotel conference room with tables spread around, with the cold lighting also contributing to the unimpressive atmosphere. The food was ok; my veal loin was about one-third fat. The wine selection skews expensive, with few good options for less than $100.

Amazing experience all around! Dishes were so complimentary to each other. Great mix of flavors and textures in each course. Will never forget how smooth cutting the filet mignon was, it was cooked truly too perfection. The chocolate dessert was so tasty, I thought of ordering another one yet contained myself. The restaurant has a minimalistic yet elegant ambiance, great for an intimate dinner. Also, their wine list is fenomenal and deverse! Lorenzo, the waiter, was very attentive, informative and made me feel at home. Was greeted by Matthew and Mr. Miller, all were very welcoming. They said there menu changes about every 4 weeks to ensure freshness of ingredients; can't wait to visit again!

Phenomenal dinner here at Riva. The 5 course tasting was fantastic and the portions were perfect progressing throughout the meal. The canapés were very fun and a standout for me (those doughnut holes with foie gras 🤤). Service was outstanding from start to finish, never had to wait too long for the next course. Cannot wait to come back to try the other dishes. Exciting new restaurant on the island would highly recommend!

This restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

Our experience at the Riva was the best surprise. I made a last minute reservation here and luckily got in because it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The service was impeccable and the staff could not have been nicer. They had just opened the place a few days before we dined with them so they were like a well oiled machine, checking on us and refilling our drinks and making sure anything we needed was brought out ASAP. We did the tasting menu and they were so good about timing everything perfectly and letting us know when the next dish would be out! The gnocchi was 10/10 and melted in my mouth and the only thing better was the pumpkin tortellini. Want to go back immediately!
