Amazing food, attentive service with only a slight lag. AC was on full blast, so bring a sweater!
Came here for a Father’s Day dinner and everything was fantastic! This is a favorite spot of mine and I was finally able to have my parents drive out to visit, they loved it too.
It was absolutely amazing!! Would love to repeat, food was delicious, service excellent and the place is just beautiful
It was more casual then classy. Food was ok
The Texas Picnic Board is AMAZING! The hanger steak was so good well seasoned and perfectly cooked everything was overall amazing
Ritual may need a new dishwasher! All of our service wear was not very clean. Service was slow.
Great customer service. Manager was very helpful and accommodating. The food is delicious and the cocktails are divine.
I was there for brunch on a Saturday. I thought the menu was quite versatile & the food was delicious. Our waiter was so nice. We were three ladies that were obviously there not just to eat, but to socialize as well. He was cognizant of that fact and did not rush us and was attentive without being intrusive. Additionally, the chairs were so comfortable and unique. All in all, it was a nice experience.
We did not receive utensils when our dinner arrived, we had to ask. Risotto with asparagus was very salty. Texas 44 Ribeye was very expensive and had no flavor. Beet salad was delicious. Apple pie for desert was very sweet.
It was sooooo good. Every course... excellent. A must stop in Houston.
The 20 day aged pork chop was a little tough and dry, even when cooked medium. Crab cake is awesome, it is basically all crab meat, no breading. Pork belly with the potato gratin is a winner.
We ordered pork belly appretizer as the waiter suggested. It was really delicious. Texture of pork belly is neither hard or too soft. I ordered shrimp scallop and grits, it was loaded with salt. I would not recommend. My husband did really like his chicken fried steak. The waiter was nice but it appears he had too many tables to cover. Great draft selections!
Menu looks good, food looks good, but doesn’t taste good
Great food. Appetizer and entree arrived a few minutes apart but otherwise very good!
The food was delicious!
The ambience for brunch is perfect. I love that they take reservations. The seating is perfect and the staff is wonderful. Every time I visit everyone is so accommodating. The food is absolutely delicious. One favorite restaurants in Houston.
Food and service was excellent but the valet parking experience was hoorendous
This was totally awesome experience.
We had the crab cake and the shrimp and scallops grits. Both were excellent! The playlist, ambiance, cocktails, and service were outstanding as well! Will definitely come back!
The decor of Ritual is very stylish. Love the butcher block tables. Drinks were cool too but nothing spectacular. I wanted to like the food but it lacked a flavor. I had the SOS brunch. I did hear the Cinnamon French Toast Crunch was great, though! The staff was friendly and quite helpful with offering recommendations. Overall, this is a cool spot to hang with friends and grab a couple drinks. It's quiet and you can actually hear one another. If you want a great meal though, Houston has tons of better options.
The food was amazing. I was seated quickly. I can't wait to come back and try other meals.
Had a great time for brunch with my mom! We got the watermelon/pineapple/ginger mimosa and it was amazing! Would strongly recommend
Please offer more gluten free items!!
This is NOT one of those places where you spend too much on mediocre food. Every thing I’ve ever had here was amazing. My husband got the 12oz Wagyu cut and it was literally the best beef I’ve ever had.
Fantastic food and great atmosphere. I highly recommend Ritual for any occasion.
We were the first customers of the day and my coffee was cold and bitter. This was our last brunch in Houston before moving across the country and I'm sad we tried to celebrate here. Ordered the "Houston Extravaganza" and the waffles were cold and hard. The atmosphere is beautiful and service was just ok. Our reservation made special note on why we were celebrating but no one acknowledged that. Why have the option to indicate why we wanted to visit the restaurant?
Maybe...chairs are cute but not for big hips or gun carriers. Food was ok - mac n cheese looked good but was not super tasty. My beet salad with steak was good.
Of course, setting is the typical current "industrial-chic" which I personally vibe with. We arrived early and was shown to our table promptly. Waiter was polite and warm..we were expecting a little bit more of an intimate setting but of course we couldn't have that there. The noise is ridiculous. It's like dining in some fast food restaurant. We ordered the short ribs and duck breast. The most upsetting bit of the experience that makes me not want to return was the duck. It was flavoursome and tasty but oh so chewy. With that kind of over priced food, we expect nothing but the best.
Really enjoyed the food and service! I can’t wait to go back.
Food was very good but completely overshadowed by ridiculously slow and uneven service. Examples: We were seated immediately, but after 15 minutes had to ask the manager for our waiter. Drinks came 40 minutes after we arrived, salads 25 minutes after that. We were told they were out of scallops and ordered the shrimp and scallop grits without scallops, but then scallops magically arrived on the plate. Best dish at our table was the salmon dish with succotash: Terrific, salmon moist and perfectly cooked. Pork chop was good (and large) but nothing special about the preparation and the collard green sauce was quite scarce on the plate. Lots of people bustling about the restaurant and the water refills were plentiful. A door to the outside was near our table, and the movement of staff in and out, as well as the breeze with every swing of the door, made it quite distracting. The room has a high ceiling and its loud in there. I asked the manager to turn down the music and he obliged. Thank you. In summary, good food, but service uneven, and too expensive for the quality and experience they deliver.
Great service, food was good but sitting outside is very close to a noisy street, would eat inside next time.
Enjoyed the atmosphere but they froze us out. Asked several times for them to adjust the temp which they did. Even asked to move but they didn’t have a place to move us. Ruined our meal. They messed up one of our meals and it took a while to come out. They tried to fix the situation comped the meal and gave us desert. Much appreciated but overall not the best night out we have had.
Mara was a terrific server and very knowledgeable about the menu and able to offer her thoughts on her favorites!
The signed Happy Birthday card impressed the entire table and the birthday girl. Bravo!
Zain was great! His recommendations on point (gulf red fish) delicious! Bartender made me the most incredible bloody Mary Spicy..👍🏾👍🏾
I have been here about four times and the food is usually really really good. But today my server was kind of out of pocket, it took forever for us to get our food. And when we did it was cold. This is usually my go to place for brunch but today’s experience didn’t leave me feeling like I want to come back.
I can't say anything but fantastic. Everything we had was excellent, our service was awesome and we were not hurried in any way. Eventually, we migrated to the bar. I can't wait to go back.
Fantastic food, service, and overall dining experience.
This was a wonderful atmosphere and experience for my birthday 4/27 and our 3 year anniversary 4/29. Douglas was an excellent server and made our first visit most enjoyable. The food was amazing and we will definitely return. Kudos to the decor designer the patio was perfect
Disappointed that they had run out of my favorite brunch item.
