Ristorante Via Emilia Garden
Was a pleasant meal. We were the only party there, not sure if that is because of COVID or not. Had a nice dinner, food was good and service with a smile.
Amazing , the food, the drinks, and the vibe.. Amazing
* Location: Via Emilia Garden
* This intimate and quaint restaurant is located in midtown. Has plenty of seating inside and outside. They have an open kitchen which provides engagement with customers who appreciate the artistry of cooking. They have rectangular tables and wooden stools for seats and an extensive menu for Italian items. The service is pretty good, although the waitress kept forgetting to bring my boyfriends Italian beer outside.
They offer French baguette and Parmesan cheese with drizzled balsamic to start as a complimentary dish. We ordered Artichoke salad, Truffle angel hair pasta, Tagliolini Agli Scampi Pasta, Octopus entree and Branzino. The pasta dishes were incredible, so fresh. They make their pasta in-house. The pasta was delectably delicious, not one single complaint. The octopus was salty. Branzino was good but didn’t taste too fresh. We were too full to order dessert.
The prices are extremely reasonable. We dined on Tuesday and were able to take advantage of their 50% discount on most of the items.
They don’t have a full bar, only serve wine and beer. I had the Sauvignon Blanc and my boyfriend tried their Italian 3 beer tasting option.
Overall I would recommend going. The pasta was out of this world amazing.
* Cost: $75/person including tip with 50% discount on most of the items.
One of the most perfect places all around. From the service to the food, including the dessert. Every course was better than the other. Also they have major discounts depending on the day during these tough times to bring people in. It was a surprise to me that there was a discount, I wasn’t expecting it and completely appreciate it. It was like 30% today. I urge you, if you can of course, to pass that discount on to the waitstaff. This is my first time here and I really hope this place stays in Miami for a long time to come. So great that it compelled me to write a review at 11:13 on a Sunday night :) Wow!
Nice restaurant , very cozy ,good food.m, fast service.
Great food, Great space.
Really enjoyed the experience
It was a wonderful place to dine — great service, secluded outdoor seating, and a delicious filet. I was only in town on business but stopped by two days in a row! I'll be sure to make it a regular choice to dine whenever I'm nearby.
Went there with my nieces for a celebration dinner. Place is adorable!!! Service of top notch and the food was incredible. Felt very safe and sanitary.
The garden is very cute. Come to sit outside and don’t worry if it rains. The street could have been better hidden with the bushes but it’s not loud at all. The service is fantastic and the truffle is generous! Food is good. You’ll like it.
Excellent food, attention and first class service! The owners always present and careful to give you the best! It is without a doubt the best and true Italian in Miami. 100% recommended.
Came with dad (who safely travelled down to visit). This place was recommended to me by my nail technician, and if an Italian person is telling where to find good Italian food I should listen.
Our server was a sweetie. The food was fantastic with nice portion sizes (not family style eat til you die plates).
I had a lovely glass of Prosecco with dinner and we ended it with creamy vanilla gelato
Amazing restaurant! By far my favorite Italian restaurant. Everything is made from scratch and food tastes really fresh. They make their own pasta and their own burrata, which was incredible! In terms of service, it was excellent. They brought us a small appetizer dish from the house and the wine recommendations were spot on! Really, I became the biggest fan of this place, will definitely repeat
We enjoyed it very much. The food was delicious. I had vegetables that were well done and my wife had the branzino, which she loved.
They were very good with cleanliness and covid precautions. We felt safe there.
Birthday for girls
The outdoor was beautiful and intimate. They even wrote out happy anniversary on the dessert plate we ordered. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with good food and wine.
We loved our date night at Via Emilia Garden. It made us feel like we were at home.
Charming place inside and outside in their garden. Food is very good, service friendly, and they offer some great deals, especially on wine.
Great food. Great service
I loved ! very nice place and food was delicious! Definitely i'm going again with my boyfriend.
The food is amazing and 100% authentic Italian and the service is impeccable. My only "constructive" criticism is the bland grey decor that slightly diminishes the overall dining experience.
Hidden gem with great food and service
Like its Miami Beach branch, this place has excellent home-made pastas, terrific mains, and friendly service, But here there is a gorgeous covered garden -- and it's almost completely undiscovered! Go!
I believe is still an undiscovered place. We were the only guests. Deserve it more !!
Phenomenal food and outstanding service.
The truffle was flavorless. Truly a disappointment.
I absolutely love this restaurant! It is cute and quaint. My server, Alex B, was awesome. He was attentive and took time to explain the menu to me. When it came time for dessert, I asked the best option between the Tiramisu and the chocolate cake. Instead of offering the more expensive dish, Alex was honest and said the chocolate cake was better. Trust me - it did not disappoint! Everything I tried was exceptional and I will definitely visit again the next time I am in Miami. Via Emilia Garden was so good that I think I will also try its sister restaurant in New York!
ganz kleine portion man bleibt danach hungrig
Via Emilia is popular in South Beach for their delicious traditional menu from Emilia Romagna, Italy. We tried the one in Midtown.
We went on a Saturday night, table of 5, the ambience inside is a little off, it needs some warmth, maybe the floor....the walls...very industrial chic but I think it needs some extra effort in decoration to create a better ambience....and it was very weird to see shoes on the wall. I get it, it’s a very fancy collection but still...I’m eating.
The garden outside is actually very pretty. As a paradox it was a little too cold to eat outside.
Service was great, Manolo took good care of us, and his attention and service were impeccable.
To start we shared gnocco fritto with Prosciutto crudo di Parma, prosciutto cotto (Italian ham) and stracchino...WOW!! Really delicious, the cold cuts were perfectly served, thin and crispy in the typical Italian tradition.
We also got artichokes with parmigiano, very good as well.
Starters could not have been better, it really felt like eating in Modena.
Half of the table had tortellini in broth, and half had fettuccine with porcini mushroom. Both were delicious but a little bit on the salty side. Maybe it was just a salty night....I’d definitely will give another chance because it’s the only place in Miami where you can eat these specialties, hand made tortellini like that are impossible to find anywhere else (even in Italy, only in Emilia Romagna or in some other Michelin Star restaurant).
Great place, I wish them lots of success as they deserve.
They have no liquor license yet. Nice pasta, lovely outdoor patio dining, excellent service (of course, there were only 4 others in the place).
Once you can get a glass of wine, go.
