   This place is a neighborhood gem. The food is excellent and is only surpassed by the excellent care that you receive from the Captain Tony and his terrific staff. This is a must visit. Reservations a must on the weekend.

   Siena had pleasant staff but served mediocre Italian food, with few vegetarian and fish options for non-meat eaters. The pasta with zucchini, peas, and mushrooms had scant vegetables and bland cream sauce. Salads were average. The sole francais had overly heavy breading and too much floured lemon sauce. Only the spinach ravioli was very flavorful. We would not return to this restaurant.

   A guest that was with us ordered a Grand Marnier cocktail. The restaurant apparently did not stock this drink and tried to substitute another brand without telling us. This was unacceptable. We will not return to this restaurant.

   service here is the best now that Maitre'd Tony is back in town things will even get better the food isn't to shabby either great place for food & fun

   We had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch, with delicious food for everyone's taste in our family, terrific individual service. The atmosphere was beautiful and friendly, and we felt very welcome.

    Revisited Siena for impromptu Friday night dinner with friends who had not been there before. We were welcomed warmly. Except for one misstep with one cocktail that was made wrong twice (for which the staff was very accommodating), the food was outstanding. Appetizers tuna tartare, fried eggplant and zucchini and fried calamari were much enjoyed. House-made pasta special was unusual and very good, and the Chilean seas bass special was so perfectly cooked that it might just have been the best iteration of that dish in this diner's experience. Pistachio cake for dessert was unusual and pleasing. I had forgotten how much I enjoy that place and the extent to which they really know how to cook there. Definitely will be back.
