Azure Restaurant @ the Intercontinental Toronto Centre
One of the best places to go in Toronto. It's a bit of a hidden gem with consistently good food, and great service. 10/10.
The food and service were amazing! Small cozy restaurant. We got the carpaccio, burrata and calamari for the table. They have Italian beers on draught, which we enjoyed. For our mains, I had the Penne Rosina, absolutely delicious, the rest of the table got carbonara pasta, mushroom pasta (with added shrimp), meatball pasta and my partner got the lasagna (which was actually a really big portion!). Everything was really tasty, would definitely come back. The portions were a really good size for a gourmet Italian restaurant, I couldn't even finish my pasta!
Great date spot, food was tasty. Portions were really small though
Service was outstanding, which made the dinner very enjoyable. We had the linguini with mushrooms and truffle cream sauce / and carbonara and would recommend both. Portion sizes for pasta seems larger than other comparable restaurants in the area which was great. Would definitely go back.
The service was excellent: friendly, informative, and very hospitable to us out-of-town'ers. We loved our waitress, and the food and wine were excellent. We had a great time in this very cute restaurant, I hope to come back again soon.
Food was yummy with affordable price!
Amazing service with amazing food. Everything you expect from Italian cousine. Even the coffee hit the mark, going back for sure!
Great service. Good food and drink!
Incredible service and food. By far one of the best Italian restaurants in Toronto. Highly recommend!
This is the family favourite Italian restaurant in the neighbourhood!
Great, homemade Italian food. Warm, attentive (but not in your face) service.
Excellet food. Authentic Italian. Great service. Good prices
We had a great first visit to celebrate a birthday. We look forward to the next visit.
The food was pretty good. Pizza was in point, crust was great. Pasta has room for improvement. However, my contention with the overall experience was due to the service. Our waiter was great, but after spending over $300 we were approached by a completely different waiter, who proceeded to tell us that since we've paid our bill we needed to leave quickly as the table was needed for another group. Not great, but fine, this is Toronto, not Italy, okay. Normally I'd brush it off, but my friend had just told us she was pregnant and we were discussing her cravings, etc. when we were interrupted by this rather hurried push to leave. It left a pretty bitter last impression... So my feedback, approach your customers with a bit more finesse and understand food brings people together, it's a very human experience that is increasingly rare. Let us sabour the few moments after the plastic is swiped, and we'll be sure to come back and create more memories.
Lovely, as always. My favourite spot on the street.
My favourite Italian spot in the city. Food and service is always on point!
Small, intimate, casual service, incredible food, great value, especially for King W
Great bang for your buck!! Our fave date spot
Always a hit when we bring people here for dinner, the food is excellent! As someone who does not like being in close quarters with anyone, it is sometimes a challenge coming here as the tables are very close together and you feel like you're on top of your neighbour, it can be pretty loud. The service is sometimes also a bit slow, if you're a walk-in you can be left at the front for up to 5 minutes before someone sees you. I will continue to come back because the food is excellent and I love the Taverniti restaurant, but there can always be improvements.
Great food and ambiance. Will recommend and appreciate the personality of the place
Food tastes great and service was fantastic! I would recommend for casual occasions.
They were amazing and accommodated a party of 8!
Food was great.
As always, we had a great experience at Rosina's. We would also like to thank the staff for opening up the patio for us along with bringing out a heater.
Amazing staff and the food was even better. Their pastas are fantastic.
Really good food, excellent service, well sized portions. I just wished the carpaccio came with some pieces of toast, but overall an amazing restaurant.
Small casual venue featuring great value and an attentive staff.
This is definitely a top spot in TO. Great home cooked meals for very reasonable prices. Service is top notch as well. This place is a real gem!
The pizza was very delicious. I dare to say it is one of the best in Toronto.
Good food and great drinks!! Celebrating a friends bday and we had a great time. Highly recommend the carbonara and the bruschetta - delicious.
The food was great as always, brought people with me who had not been there before and they loved it, our server was great, friendly and knowledgeable and was really sweet with the little one at our table..we will definitely be going back
And would recommend Rosina’s to anyone who wants great tasting quality food, and a great overall experience.
This was our second time at Rosina and it was just as amazing as our first! Great food and service! Looking forward to eating here again!
Outstanding place !
The food and service was great! Space is definitely a premium and made us and the table behind us very uncomfortable as we were seated so close to each other.
Excellent friendly service and amazing food! Definitely going back.
Great food and over great experience. Will definitely go back.
A perfect place to have a delicious and authentic Italian food without breaking the bank.
Rosina, located at King & Bathurst, is the sister restaurant of Trattoria Taverniti, located in Little Italy. It is a tiny place, not fancy by any stretch but not ugly. Its a simply design restaurant with a bar decorated with tiles that give vibes of southern Italy. This along with some touches such as a map of Calabria along with a large portrait of Nonna Rosina on the wall, give it a homey and casual feel.
You pretty much cant go wrong. I have the Penne alla Rosina, was Penne with hot soppressata, n’duja, basil in a rosé sauce. It sounds simple but it tasted absolutely amazing, I was debating on ordering another plate after I finished mine. The only reason I didn't is that the portion sizes are perfect. They are not to small that you will leave hungry, however I wouldn't call them large either. They are a decent size, and you will definitely leave full, especially if you decide on getting an app.
The reason I like this place and will be returning is because the prices are really good for what you are getting, especially compared to other Italian restaurants in the city (which seem to get more and more pricey these days). Id say this is $-$$ in terms of price. Most pasta dishes are about $15-$20 or less, with apps ranging from $5-$20. You can definitely have a dinner for two here for $50-$70 with apps and mains, and I'd highly recommend it.
Nico and the staff were super friendly and the food was authentic and delicious. My parents and I had a great time and enjoyed a delicious meal. Thank you!
Very good pricing
