Late lunch was wonderful, as we were seated at a table in a window alcove, which was perfect for relaxation and coversation. Our meals were delicious, although I found the pasta in the pasta with prawns dish could have been a bit more al dente (my preference). But the serving was generous!
Great food and service
The scampi is the real deal - plump, juicy and full of flavour - the best I've had outside of Australia! Steak, tiramisu and chocolate decadence all delicious too. Very nice meal.
The foods was good and the services need a little improvement. The check in from our opentable reservation was not check off. We keep insisting it four times.
Excellent food prepared very well. This place has been open and has been very succcessful for many years because the food is so great
This was our first time at this restaurant - had heard good things from friends. Food was terrific - fresh, well-seasoned, nice portions. Service was rough and uneven. Hostess was unfriendly, seemed put out to even to have to deal with us. We obviously had a reservation, had to wait to be seated. We let the hostess know that one of our party was arriving late and that we would go ahead and get started without him. Waited a while before a server came by and asked, "Have you been helped?" I thought that was strange in this type of restaurant, better response in a diner. Anyway, after this, things were fine. Gina was great, responsive, helpful. Would recommend and will return. We feel that service is as important as the food in a dining experience, perhaps even more. As they say, you only have one chance to make a great first impression. You need a friendlier hostess.
We use this local restaurant for Birthday and Anniversary celebrations. and love the ambiance, food and service.
We ate there 2 nights in a row!
Love love love this quaint little piece of Italy.
Try the gnocchi.... awesome
Like my gramma
Great service and food was good too!!
Excellent dinner for all 4 guests. The copper river salmon was cooked perfectly. The pork medallions very tasty.
Lovely lunch out with friends: fresh, crisp salads and delicate, delicious pasta -yum! Wait staff were welcoming and professional. A Kirkland favorite.
Excellent Italian with good pasta, seafood and meat choices. Nice casual dining experience that we will enjoy over and over.
Birthday celebration, great food, great service. We'll be returning soon.
Absolutely phenomenal food! Great seafood and pastas!
Except for the higher than normal noise level, which makes for difficult conversation while
dining, this is a favorite place to eat for us who live nearby.
I have been eating here for 23 years, it is always consistently delicious! The food is always good, great atmosphere and service is Stellar! I recommend Paradiso as a wonderful place to eat!!
We love this restaurant! Delicious food, ample portions. Very accomadating to substitute ingredients. Highly recommend this restaurant
Sat outside. Great people watching! Love the locale. Food was very good. Wine list OK. Will come back!
The food, service and prices were great, but the ambiance was lacking and the place was crowded and loud.
I would go here again, but be prepared for the pace to be packed and loud.
Outstanding service. They actually read your requests when you place your reservation! Food was delicious.
Great food, service was really good. Our server was a great guy, knew his stuff and was very attentive to our needs. Will definitely go there again soon!
Though we reserved several weeks in advance we were offered our choice of 3 tables in the rear of the restaurant in closest proximity to the kitchen. Lots of activity in the area. The hostess said they were out of menus and would bring some later but never returned. After 10 minutes or so, I noticed people who were seated after us had menus and motioned to a nearby server who brought us some. Our server was fine: it was hard for us to hear him and he us which made the flow of communication less than ideal. We split an appetizer and a salad along with our entrees but weren't told and didn't see noted on the menu that we'd be charged 3.00 for splitting . The food tasted good to very good. The caprese appetizer was not as good as other restaurants we enjoy in flavor ( the tomatoes were pale and had no taste at all). Our entries were, however, quite good ( I had salmon piccata) Salmon was crease and delicate and the accompanying veggies varied and delicious.
The place did not have a friendly feel and we will likely not go back.
The meal was not so tasty. It should have more salt and pepper. The restaurant was too noisy and the waiter almost never saw when we were requesting him.
It was very good with generous portions. The service was uneven but ended up correcting itself by the end.
Well prepared food. Excellent service. We all chose something different and everyone enjoyed their choice.
This was my first time at Ristorante Paradiso, though my wife had eaten there with her book club a couple of times. We were out with our adult daughter and her boyfriend and tried their Restaurant Week special menu.
The staff was friendly and professional. We weren't in a hurry, and the service was attentive enough without feeling we were being rushed. The atmosphere is pleasant, situated along Kirkland's pedestrian-friendly Park Lane.
They have a good wine menu, though if you're looking for mixed drinks/cocktails this may not be your first choice. The food selection was broad enough that everyone found something they enjoyed. Preparations are tasty if a bit rich. Not a light-eating spot if you're avoiding butter and fats, but not too heavy on the garlic and other seasonings either.
I started with a Caprese salad, which was excellent, followed by the Cioppino which was also very good. The broth was flavorful and the seafood wasn't overdone. My wife started with the rucola, beets, walnuts, and goat cheese salad and then had their Salmone Primavera, which was also well prepared.
Desserts were all very good - between us we had one each of the Cannoli, Tiramisu’, Cheesecake and Panna Cotta.
This is a local gem for folks living in or visiting Kirkland, and we'll be back. If we were going from the regular menu and not the Restaurant Week special, it would have been a bit pricey - but worth it. They also serve a similar menu for lunch at lower prices.
Food was good, if a bit salty. (Clams Vongole). We were in the back room, and appreciated that. While the main dining room was noisy, our room was more intimate. I would go back.
We had lunch during Seattle Restaurant Week. Salad and soup were both very good. The swordfish and gnocchi with sausage were generously proportioned and beautifully seasoned. Hadn't visited before, but the menu stood out from most of the others we contemplated for the Week.
The food and service was superb! Our waitress was so attentive, we adored her! The best salmon I've ever had, the panna cotta was delicious! Our go-to restaurant!!
Our first visit and we will return. Food and wine was very good
I stopped going to this restaurant necause of the service (I recall a couple of young girls). Service was gteat this time and the minestrone, albeit on the salty side( was amazing. Everything else was good too. Will be back.
It was our first time trying this restaurant and we will definitely be back! We LOVE Italian food and have been hard pressed to find a good, authentic, & reasonably priced "Go To" place... but I think we have one now.
Have been to restaurant numerous times. It is always good. Never disappointed with food or service.
Nice restaurant but too loud and the table was too small for our food (they had to change serving dishes and then remove some table declarations to fit things). But waiter was very good and the food was as well.
Love this place. Never disappointed.
A favorite Kirkland restaurant. Authentic Italian, good cocktails, good wine list, close to all that's lovely in Kirkland. Restaurant is not too big, and not too small, just right.
We celebrated two 70th birthdays & our service was wonderful along with the cozy atmosphere.
All of our meals...cannelloni, Vitello scampi & penne paradiso were fabulous! And our Limoncello , Tartufo Limoncello & Classico Limoncello were one of the best desserts we've had in a long time.
We'll definitely be back again soon!
We went there for a date and it was a nice setting romantic has good Decor good Ambience we just felt the food could have been a little better. I ordered the special which was a pork chop which was actually very tasty it was cooked over a bed of vegetables that were very good but the pork chop was very fatty my date ordered a spaghetti dish which was very Bland we had a couple drinks we had a good time didn't eat all the food though I wouldn't recommend it to a friend but I wouldn't oppose it neither.
excellent dinner with friends highly recommended
I had not been to Paradiso for a while, and was impressed that it had maintained its standards. The aromas hit you even before you enter the warm, cozy environment. The service is professional and friendly. I asked for our table to be moved and there was no problem. As I was the only one drinking, I was able to take advantage of the selection of half bottles of wine - a rare find. We all had pastas concentrating on shellfish and they were delicious. The large steak was deemed the best for a long time. Only my cannelloni seemed a bit tasteless. More herbs might have helped. I really love this restaurant. It is not cheap, but it is classy and always worthwhile.
