Ristorante Paradiso Ratings and Reviews
I was very disappointed with the waiting for a table. We, and our guests, arrived 10 minutes early and ended up waiting over 45 minutes (beyond our reservation time) for a table...when we arrived, there were 3 sets of "4 person Walk Ins" that had been there approximately 30 minutes prior to our reservation time.....ALL 3 sets were given a table before us....thought Open Table was to avoid this? Additionally, during our wait, we were asked if we would like a drink for our "delay".....after our meal (good food) and looking at the bill, we were charged for that round of drinks (glass of wine, glass of water, single scotch and single gin)...they had given us the impression that the drinks were gratis "for the wait"...will NOT use Open Table for Restorante Paradiso again since they, obviously, do NOT HONOR your reservation times versus Walk In's.
Excellent service and food. Our server Tri was attentive but didn't rush us and was helpful with menu suggestions. The noise level was a bit high due to a four top next to us, but overall we could have a conversation without yelling across the table. We will definitely be back again
Food was amazing and service was great at first, took a while to get the food but once we ate we waited and waited to get our bill probably 20 min and then we had to get up and ask for the bill, super disappointed, they need more servers or staff so that doesn’t happen.
We celebrated our Christmas dinner and found the parking a real challenge. We had to park in a neighborhood. There was no parking for 3 mile radius. So be prepared. The restaurant was friendly and seemed to be lacking staff. The staff was accommodating and efficient. No frills but good food and consistent. We like the location of the restaurant but it was noisy. This was our second time there and probably would venture somewhere else. Not a keeper on the list of good restaurants.
This is my favorite restaurant in Kirkland. Tasty Italian food and an excellent wine list. I have eaten here 3 times and will keep coming back. The lasagna, cannelloni, and the linguine alla norcina are all excellent. The tiramisu is outstanding, as good as any I have had. There is much more on the menu that I plan to try on future visits. The homemade bread is really excellent also.
Delicious dinner before heading to KPC. Despite being the day after Thanksgiving, the restaurant was very busy. We each ordered specials. My fettucini with a tomato sauce and veal meatballs was delish, as was my hubby's lamb shank with sauteed vegies & couscous, altho the latter was a little pricey at $42. Nice wine selection, excellent service.
The food sounded good, and looked fine but the flavors were off. This was the second time I went, last time was disappointing too. It isn't worth going back as there are many better places to eat and better places to have a nice dinner with friends and family.
I have a milk allergy and informed the server of this during my order. I specifically said no cheese due to a milk allergy. When my order arrived I took a few bites and realized the sauce had Parmesan cheese in it. Milk products make me sick for three days. I explained this to the server. He redid my order without milk and removed the cost of it from the bill...a $25 value. I don’t like being poisoned, chefs need to pay more attention to the server notes. I have eaten the same meal at this restaurant many times before without issues. This server was new to me.
My adult son and I had a nice window table in a corner for quiet conversation.
I chose the camilliere for my main though it is listed as an appetizer. Excellent grilled with aioli on the side and a wee salad.....perfect !
The green salad was not as creative as the last time I was there but was fresh .
My son enjoyed the blackened trout served over luscious rice and spinach.
Foregoing wine, our water glasses were kept filled.
The unique house bread accompanied by olive oil and balsamic was as tasty and welcome upon arriving, as usual.
Maybe the 10th time I've dined at Paradiso over ten years. Always great food and service. Took my 94 year old mother for her birthday after she chose the venue. She was delighted, as she was every other time. Highlight was the complimentary tiramasu with single candle. She hopes to return for #95.
Everything was great. We went for Seattle Restaurant Week and were not disappointed. Our server Ryan was wonderful. Food came out with no delay, yet we also didn't feel like we were being rushed. Loved the attention to detail in each dish.
Our dinners were delicious. We ordered traditional Italian food, & we were not disappointed. We had an outstanding wine from a winery that doesn't often show up on a restaurant wine list. A treat! Our server was very helpful and attentive. We will definitely go there again.
Dylan was wonderful along with all the staff. The food and ambiance for the Seattle Restaurant Week was generous, tasty, well presented, great choices.
We always enjoy the affordable 1/2 carafe of great house wine. Thank you!
