Morini was always very good but I guess since it is closing August 16, it was just ok this time. Menu was limited many dishes not featured anymore, only a couple of desserts left. Sparkling water had no bubbles Service was so so. He was trying but struggled.

Too late the restaurant lost their lease. Appetizers came just before the wine. The dessert was on the menu including ice cream but arrived without with no explanation. Turns out they had refrigerator problems???

if you are an upper east sider this is one that should be on your go to list. service is excellent (4 1/2 stars) sommelier is informative, pleasant and professional. cuisine (scallops, salt cod ravioli, snapper) was excellent. only downer is the somewhat outdated interior and older UES clientele. that said, we eat here frequently and have never been disappointed and neither will you

We were very disappointed with brunch this time. The waitress didn't seem to know what was in some of the dishes and just read the menu to us (which isn't helpful.) Everything was very salty. And one of the $23 brunch entrees didn't come with so much as a leaf of lettuce. Our other experiences here have been good, so we aren't writing it off yet. But we sure do hope they fix these issues because there's too much competition to eat a bad brunch especially at that price.

Purchased a gilt city promo we were treated like a King and Queen. The service was amazing, place is pretty, food was very good and the location (although quiet) is a nice walk from Central Park. I loved it and will def. return!

Lousy service where the staff seemed to very relaxed. The food quality was average, in addition they ranout of some products and brought one main dish not considering our request for diet restriction which was informed to our waiter. Definitely, we will not go back!

It was noon, so things were quiet. Personable welcome. Best focaccia I've ever had. Imaginative dishes true to the Italian tradition. The homemade cannoli gelato was just right to conclude the feast.

My husband and I have eaten at Ristorante Morini at least twice a month since it opened. It had been a favorite family restaurant until last Friday. As one of the hostesses ushered us into the elevator, she told my husband he had the elevator ride to take off his baseball cap. It was in large part the way this was delivered. We are both professionals with advanced degrees but we felt reduced to peasants in that one sentence. As a result, we will not be returning to Ristorante Morini.

Ristorante Morini has two levels with seating. The downstairs level is smaller and has a cozier feel, while we sat upstairs which is more elegant and spacious feeling. Though, both levels were beautiful. The staff was very attentive and helpful, and the food was incredible! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and time spent there.

The service is fantastic. I enjoyed my lunch entree. The noise for a lunch crowd was surprisingly moderate. We were seated one table from another group who were speaking at a normal level and it was quiet enough for us to hear each other.

The food was fine. The service very good. The noise level much too loud for easy conversation. Dislike policy rigidity in rules about only taking full orders for the table. We prefer being able to order appetizers while waiting for the couple caught in traffic to arrive.

Charming restaurant, on two levels, with delicious and reasonable prix fixe lunch choices. Service is always impeccable and warm, and after several visits, it is my favorite for lunch or brunch in the upper Madison Avenue area. Tables are not too close together, the greeting at reception is welcoming and after trying many dishes, I have loved every last one of them! We had a Holiday lunch for 10, and we were also well served, as are lunches for two or three.

Celebrated a friend’s 70 th birthday with 5 of us. Never rushed us...excellent service and delicious food. This location and restaurant is the perfect respite from the hectic city. How refreshing to have 2 hours of meaningful conversation in such a lovely comfortable setting!
