Service excellent. Smoked salmon, chicken and eggplant meatballs outstanding. Pasta with shaved truffles , Arctic char, and burger amazing.
Quite disappointing. Average food for way-above average prices. Nothing exciting.
Everything about the restaurant was great. The food was delicious. We will be back. It’s becoming one of our favorite restaurants.
It was good.
Excellent food and service. We will be back
We have come here frequently but were disappointed on this visit. Service was well-below average for a restaurant of this cost, and the food was below average as well.
Beautiful place good food but portions were too small
We didn’t know what to expect on our first visit but were impressed with the service and quality of the food. Will go back anytime we are in the upper east side of NYC.
Always a terrific meal. Just find the service to be very slow not a place to go and unless you’re prepared to spend a fair amount of time and often be annoyed by what appears to be an unreasonable delay between courses Wine list just terrific and theyare very friendly about allowing one to bring a bottle and provide excellent sommelier support . Will definitely be going again however never if I want to be served quickly
Excellent dining experience which I enjoyed very much. First time visit. I will return.
We enjoyed the live music. The food was very good. Great choices.
Not hospitable more like attitude at Hostess desk. Waiter asked if we wanted to order before we had opportunity to order cocktail or wine. Waited 20 minutes for cocktails for 4. Couple ordered the Porterhouse for 2. Waiter said that they were all out. I asked how that could be as it was only 7:30 PM and he informed me that they only have a few of them at night because it is not ordered that much. I said then we should have been informed of that before we had spent the time deciding what to order. Food was just ok. Only 2 of the party wanted a second drink. Ordered before entree arrived. Was served to us while we ate dessert. Check came right away. Celebration of an engagement and I was embarrassed by my selection even though it was my engagement and the other couple were my guest.
Perfect service food and experience
Excellent food and caring, personalized professional service. Beautiful lunch.
Food was outstanding. The pastas were all at $12 after 8:30 which was a pleasant surprise! And they tasted fantastic! Choc dessert was great! Tiramisu was a little disappointing but will not affect my rating. Definitely going back multiple times on my next trip!
Delicious and delightful as always! We will be back.
My dining experience at Morini this past weekend was perfect in every way. The food was as it always is - delicious; the service outstanding. Looking forward to my next visit.
Horrible experience. Stupid and arrogant waiters, do things u don’t ask for, bring dishes u didn’t order, u ask what is inside the dish and they don’t mention more than half of ingredients !!!!(they dish was for a child) nothing to eat!!!
I love your restaurant. I must say I was surprised that when my date arrived, she was sent up the stairs, no one greeted her there, and she had to wander around finding the table where I was sitting.
Probably more suitable for a special occasion but me and my friends enjoyed the superb food and excellent cocktails
I do not plan on returning after the poor service my family received on Mother’s Day for brunch. We sat at the table for almost 15 minutes until I had to flag down a waiter. Our first course was brought to the table, taken away and then brought back with zero explanation. I had a great experience one month ago for Saturday dinner so I was disappointed to spend $260 on brunch for four people with such bad unprofessional. The one saving grace is the food is delicious but not worth the price tag and bad service.
I have always been a fan of Michael White and Marea so I had high expectations yet they managed to exceed them! I arrived Early and my dining partner was late yet they offered to seat me at my table anyway ( instead of having complete party before seated). The bread was amazing and that is always a good sign. We started with the fried zucchini blossoms which were delicate yet full of flavor and blended the mint and crab meat seamlessly, and followed that with eggplant parm main and the orecchette which was so subtle yet amazing flavor too! The lamb sausage mixed with wild ramp walnut pesto was major! We shared the main, a perfectly cooked Branzino served with wild red rice it was light and full of flavor and I would highly recommend all!!
Service s excellent. We had the 4 course dinner, our choice from the menu. Highlights were a perfectly cooked octopus, a delicious artichoke soup, sublime veal agnolotti! I’d go back just for that. The only miss was the veal chop, which I thought too sweet & one dimensional. Desserts were fantastic. Had the best dirty martini! The wine selection is very good. Lots of good selections at all price points. The sommelier specials offered a great choices. we had an incredible, unusual wine. Loved it!
It’s a couple blocks from the Met Museum. I’m planning a visit soon so we can go back!
As always- the food, service and ambiance was top notch. Whenever my husband and I visit the city- Ristorante Morini is a must.
Food was really good, but the waiter and service was outstanding!!! Wonderful night.
Wonderful neighborhood gem. Waiters and staff are well trained and efficient. Food is excellent. Wine list could use some additional lower priced options.
Always reliable neighborhood restaurant.
Clams & linguini had a spice that overwhelmed the taste
My wife finally asked for parmigiana cheese (ugg on seafood) to kill the taste and still could not eat the dish.
My veal chop was overlooked
I ende up doing something entirely against my grain by leaving a 10% tip
We have had some delicious meals here. Prices are in line with what you would expect in this neighborhood. There is a four course $78 pre-fixe option with full menu choices which makes this a better value than you'd expect. Food is beautifully prepared and presented. Wine list is varied both in price and selection. Service is outstanding - well paced to allow you to actually enjoy an evening out with good conversation. We intend to return soon!
Always excellent food and professional service
Beautiful restaurant. Outstanding service. Worth the trip uptown.
The best Italian restaurant in NYC
Best Best Best Best Best Best
I took a few of my co-workers to dinner a couple of weeks ago, and chose Ristorante Morini because my wife and I have dined there and have always enjoyed our experiences at the restaurant. The sommelier there used to work at a restaurant closer to our home in New Jersey, and he is both talented and gracious, so I also knew my team would be well-cared-for at Ristorante Morini. Dinner was excellent - we had four courses with wine pairings. Every detail was perfect, and after hours of fine dining and good conversation, my guests were completely delighted. There are many fine restaurants in New York, but my favorite is Ristorante Morini.
Wonderful food, ambience, service!
Everything was amazing! Highly recommend for Met goers.
Excellent cuisine and loving, professional service
We were disappointed that on their prix fix lunch they were out of burrata. Nothing else really appealed, so I ordered kale salad which was more kale than I would ever want in one sitting! The lobster salad had a supplement of $7. As it was the only thing on the menu my husband wanted, he ordered it. It was nice of the restaurant to waive the $7 charge as we both ordered the burrata which they didn't have. Pastas were good, as usual. Sorbet was fine too.
Superior! Everything was perfect!
