The waiters are attentive and knowledgeable, and the food is delicious and presented beautifully. The room is very pretty but the tables are fairly close to each other and it is fairly noisy. The one real downside is the value. Example- Their lobster special that evening....A 1-1/2 lb. (average size) lobster with no claws included, shelled and cooked in a nice sauce for $54.00. I know this isn’t the Lobster Shack but that’s just too high. Good special occasion place.

Although I made the reservation because it was restaurant, I ended up ordering off their normal lunch menu. The restaurant has two different prix fixe options for lunch. One is $32 for salad, pasta, and gelato and the other is just over $40 for appetizer, entree, and dessert.

I selected the former and was very satisfied! The lemon mint sorbet is worth a trip by itself!

The service here has definitely slipped since my last visit. The staff members all seemed new and not very professional. They were not very attentive during our meal an d definitely not what you would expect at these prices. Also, we had been to Ai Fiori a few days earlier and the difference was striking. That said, the food was very good as usual and the atmosphere is very pleasant and comfortable.

Was very disappointed by the food. Service was very attentive but my kale salad Came with almost no dressing and was like eating dry. My entree, the featured Sat. Lobster special where the lobster is cooked, scooped out and restuffed into the shell, was cold. Not that it had been cooked and sat around but never really cooked. My wife’s Veal Milanese was overdone. Hardly excusable given the prices charged.

Ristorante Morini is becoming one of my favorite restaurants. This was my second visit and it built on my first. The food is one delicious bite after the previous one. I had the Lobster Salad, followed by Eggs Benedict (with proscuitto -- instead of canadian bacon -- and spinach) and, for dessert, a Torta -- a lemon cake with other accompaniments that were sublime. My guests also thoroughly enjoyed their selections from the prix fixe menu. Good food doesn't get any better than this. I will be returning again and again.

Morini is a wonderful neighborhood upscale Italian spot. The food is very consistent and the staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it for a place to go with friends or a romantic dinner for 2.

Always delicious and gracious! We are and have been regulars. The octopus appetizer and risotto with peas are really both first rate!

I enjoyed a delicious brunch with my Mom. The short rib polenta was perfection and the chicken meatballs were light and in very cute dishes with handles.

Food never disappoints (I especially love the gluten-free pasta options, as well as the gluten-free bread). One of my all-time favorite neighborhood restaurants.

I was so disappointed! First of all, I didn't realize that Restaurant Week prices didn't apply to dinner. (There was no way by looking at the full-page announcement in the NY Times.) Secondly, although we had a 6:00 reservation and there were only 2 tables filled, the waiters spent more time talking to each other than looking at us, and my friend finally had to get up and go over to our waiter to get his attention. We wanted to order our appetizers while deciding what to order for our main dish, but were told that could not be done; the chef insists that the whole order be submitted at once, which seemed utterly ridiculous. The appetizers were very good, but I had to send my lobster ravioli back -- a first for me. To see these black ravioli swimming in a pool of tomato sauce with little bits of cuttlefish, was very unappetizing. All in all, what could have been an outstanding experience, turned out to be just the opposite. I won't be returning.

This was a very pleasant afternoon and an excellent meal; unfortunately our server forgot to order one of our additional dishes. We were three people and each ordered an appetizer and a fish or meat entree plus a pasta for us all to share with our entree. The pasta was forgotten which was too bad. Otherwise very nice indeed.

Love the pasta! Always a good meal here. We often come for both special occasions and a really nice weekend meal. It’s sometimes very hard to get a weekend reservation because it’s a very popular restaurant in this part of town.

The prix fixe meal of four courses (slightly smaller portions) for $78.00 was a terrific value. I loved my vegetable risotto, but the lobster entree was overloaded with spicey breadcrumbs. Underneath, the lobster itself was juicy and delicious. The desserts were fantastic. The servers were efficient and very pleasant. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We dine here frequently, and I just want to say that the meal we enjoyed there last week was the very best we've had to date. Let me be specific: If the risotto with spring peas and guanciale is on the menu, order it!

Burrata and Tagliatelle were delicious as always however my wife said her Agnolotti was off; too salty and not as satisfying as in the past.

Worst of all our server was just shy of being rude (probably because it was 9PM we both ordered a $12 pasta special). We live in the neighborhood and never had this attitude before so we knew it was just this server. However someone dining there for the first time would probably leave there with a very different, and negative impression.
