We love this restaurant. The food is always delicious and the service is outstanding. Personal, warm and consistent. Aldo, the owner is originally from Rome and loves to share information about Italy. Always remembers us, even though it can be months that we’ve visited the restaurant (we don’t live in SF so it’s a drive for us) but always worth the extra effort on our part to get there. San Francisco has changed in the past two years, however, Ristorante Milano has not. They offer a great dining experience and the food and service is excellent.

Love this neighborhood gem! Great food and service. Ambiance is great for intimate gatherings with family or friends. The fettucine with meat sauce is outstanding, and the ravioli's are always superb. I feel like I'm in Italy again!!

Absolutely wonderful and authentic neighborhood restaurant. As good as the trattoria we've loved in Italy. Attentive staff encouraged us to take our time and enjoy the evening. The calamari app was a highlight - grilled calamari, warm cannelini bean salad - so fresh. The gnocchi was heavenly; the scallopini with mushrooms was great. We finished with tiramisu - so light and flavorful. One of our best meals in SF over the past 10 years. Small restaurant with 15 or so tables. Lively, casual atmosphere. Personal service. We will definitely return and recommend to family.

An authentic taste of Italia. Many thanks to Ristorante Milano for creating the perfect birthday party for my brother in law last night. All was fresh, authentic, and delicious. The service was attentive and we appreciated the delicious homemade tiramisu with candle as a birthday treat. Pasta is all homemade and incredible. They even took us outside for a great group photo. Great, warm, welcoming people. We'll be back again soon. Grazie!

Very fresh and delicious. We’d pick up the plate and lick every bit off if we could. Love all the seasoning and well balanced use of seafood/meat. Amazing… extraordinary… Service is wonderful. Kept on checking on us and switching us into new plates of food, and made sure we have enough sharing plates to try all different dishes. 6 out of 5 stars if I could.
