Had the scallops which were done perfectly, my companion had the stuffed pork chop which was excellent. We were in a side room which was a converted hallway, not much of the atmosphere we had experienced the first time a few years ago.

This restaurant looks good as we walked in the door but service and the food weren’t . First a mistake on my drink and as we all finished our drinks no one was there to get our next round we had to wait and then ask . When dinner came my plate was so small it looked like an appetizer don’t get the veal piccata 38.00 not worth it! The rest of the pastas were just ok not a good experience overall

Enjoyed our dinner! This was our first visit, but will not be the last. Food and service were great. The only minor issue was that it is pretty noisy. That said, we will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone that has not yet visited.

I am very sorry to say that my veal marsala was tough and the spinach salty. But even worse, my wife got sick from the mussels, which made it a very difficult night. Considering the pricing, everything should have been perfect, but it was not even close.

Wonderful romantic Italian restaurant right on El Paseo. Vibrant busy atmosphere, but one e you reach your table, wonderful service. Chris led us through the menu with great choices, even recommending a less expensive but wonderful Italian wine. Calamari appetizer followed by Rigatoni entree was plenty for sharing with wife. Another wonderful El Paseo experience!

Hostess cheerfully accommodated our request to be seated early for our reservation. Bread, water, and cocktails were delivered soon after we were seated, and we were served at a perfect pace. On the waiter's recommendation, I chose one of the two homemade fettuccine and porcini mushroom dishes, which was delicious and very light, exactly as promised. Birthday desserts were delivered gratis, capping off a lovely dining experience!

This is a top notch restaurant where the stars dine - we saw Tsitsipas and Alcaraz two top tennis stars the night we were there - what a dream! The food was delicious. The service was excellent, unobtrusive and prompt! We enjoyed beef carpaccio to start and 2 of their veal dishes. And the tiramisu for dessert was light and refreshing! We were tucked away in a quiet romantic corner yet still felt part of the din of the restaurant. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant which came highly recommended to us from dear friends. Enoy!!!

I want to give this place a better review but I can’t. I mean where is the love people? Things are just splattered onto plates - zero presentation. And at these prices it should matter. Plus, if you are a party of 2 you get shoe-horned into a sad area near the window or bar cut off from the main dining room. So zero ambiance. Go to Porta Via. Same El Paseo prices but much better overall experience.

We had a fabulous time. Service was quite slow at the beginning of the evening but the food was exceptional as always. This is our must go to restaurant every time we are in the desert.

My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience at Mamma Gina's. Our waiter was very accommodating and friendly. I ordered the Mamma house salad which was lovely and dressed just perfectly...not too heavy on the dressing. My husband had a classic Caesar and enjoyed it very much. My entree was the Branzino fish with a wonderful sauce of tomatoes and olives. The entree came with fluffy mashed potatoes and spinach. Yum. My husband loved the Linguini Diavola with shrimp. For dessert we split the amazing Cheesecake. The staff made you feel as if you were a guest in their home. Thank you for a really delightful evening. We will be back the next time we are in Palm Desert!!

We were very impressed by the front of the house staff. Very professional and pleasant. Our salmon was cooked perfectly and of course, our pasta was delicious.

Food was excellent as was our service. Emilio, our waiter, was there when we needed but never intrusive - it reminded me of the great restaurants in the old days. Will go back whenever we return
