   We came for Mother's Day to be close to piano but they couldn't sit a group of 7 in piano bar. Sat in dining room which was fine because there was a violinist. Got the family style Sunday dinner- delicious but bragole was dry. I am gluten free so paid $20 on top of my $49/pp Sunday dinner fee for a small bowl of penne. The kicker is that the family style spaghetti paid for 7 only fed 4 of us extremely small portions. So we asked for more spaghetti/ no meat and it was an additional $50- when we received the bill. Unheard of. Pistachio martini for dessert was very average and underwhelming. Meat and cheese plate was the star of the show.

   Roberto was an amazing waiter. He took his time to tell us about the menu, and was attentive to our needs. Amazing dinner.

   Lucca is one of the BEST Italian restaurants that I have been to in the US. It is authentic, the food is excellent, and the service is impeccable. Our server, Miguel F. is FABULOUS. Everything from the drinks to the wine, food, and desserts was fresh, authentic, and delicious. This was our first visit, but definitely not our last. Shout out to Salvatore for an excellent wine recommendation.

   Very nice upscale vibe. The food was very good and the serve was excellent. A bit pricey but I expected that.

   Two items really stood out from the rest of our food. #1 The Octopus #2 The Filet Mignon The octopus was tender, juicy piping hot, and the best that I have ever had the filet mignon was moist, buttery, tender, juicy, both were cooked to perfection. While our weight staff was accommodating when we had questions they had to exit go ask and come back. This seemed a little out of place for the price point and the venue.

   It began horribly. After reserving specifically for the piano lounge, the only reason we would go to this ridiculously overpriced restaurant we were told by the manager we had to eat in the dining room. Then he said we needed 4 people (we were 2) to get a table in the lounge while I was staring at the exact table for 2 I wanted, right in front off the stage. After a bit more argument we got our table but I should not have to go through this! Note: we were dressed exactly as specified. Once there our experience became wonderful. Our excellent waitress Gabrielle assured us we could order whatever we liked and soothed the atmosphere for us. She served us well throughout. The room is beautiful with an excellent sound system and the finest singer and musicians. Although really overpriced (some items more than others) the food is excellent and provided I can see the show while eating with no cover charge this is acceptable.

    This would be my #1 and top of the list Italian restaurant: from service to food quality, presentation, live music and ambience- everything welcomes you and leaves wanting to comeback many times.
