The penne al la vodka had to be returned, poor taste, color and quality. The entre portions were small. The service was great so we will give it another try.
They forgot our entre and came asking about dessert.

A great little restaurant. Always great food and the cleanest kitchen you will ever find in a restaurant. Special salad was excellent and the black grouper was terrific.

Chef/Owner Michael Fattah is a master chef. Dining at Ristorante Farfella is truly a culinary experience that should not be missed. In my opinion, it is the best restaurant in the Naples/Estero/Fort Myers area without question! Don’t be fooled by the fact that this gem is located in a strip mall. The food, service and ambiance receive my highest praise!!! 5 stars without question!
Hands down our most favorite restaurant in Fort Myers. Exquisite food. Wonderful wine selection. A premier staff. The owner is the chef, par excellence. We go on our Anniversary and birthdays and any other occasion we can think of. Bon appetit!

It was only my 2nd time dining here. I found this place after my 1st Italian choice was booked and I must say I’m super glad it was. The attention to detail in the food alone leaves you wanting more. I have not been disappointed once but anything I’ve ordered.
Farfalla is always outstanding. The food, menu choices, presentation are always excellent. The service is impeccable. We've been dining there for years and always look forward to a fabulous meal and great service.
The owner, Mike, is also the cook. He is an excellent cook.
I tried 4 different appetizers, soup, and entrees, all were excellent, flavorful, and well presented.

The host, Jeff, was fantastic! He was absolutely a pleasure and represented the restaurant well. Our server, Jennifer, was absent most of the time and made our first time experience much less enjoyable. The bus boy was much more attentive to our needs. The food was decent and the pricing was typical of going rates in a mid-priced restaurant. I ended up eating at another, slightly more upscale, restaurant the next day and paid just about the same. The pasta is homemade which was nice and made difference. The décor could use some updating and the chairs were slightly uncomfortable. The food was cooked to order, so you need to be patient and plan to spend some time here. Overall, was a decent night out.

I have never been here before. Loved the atmosphere. I think the problem was with our server. After 15 or more minutes had to ask her to take our order. She claimed she didn’t want to bother us as we were chatting and having wine. My dining partner was starving. No bread at this point either, which we had to ask for. Then when the food came up she did not bring it for another 10-15 minutes because I kept my salad to finish with my meal. When I asked about it she claimed she was waiting for me to finish my salad. By the time we got our dish it was dry, shellfish overcooked and calamari was rubber. Sat under the heat lamp all that time. She should have brought the food when it was ready! Had to order more white wine sauce to even eat it. The server assistant was very attentive and tried to take my salad plate 4 times. Then with an empty restaurant you seated a table right next to us. I am not trying to bash you but educate on service. I would love to see you succeed. Maybe when the kinks are worked out I will give it another try. Quality of food was good just a timing issue. Bring it when it’s fresh and ask if you are not sure. Don’t assume! I have never seen a server not bring the food over a salad ever.
All 4 dishes were extremely bland - almost to the point of being inedible. Requested anchovies for our ceaser salad - never got them. Requested freshly ground pepper - the young man never came to our table. Etc etc
I know from reading past reviews that the owner doesn’t like to hear negative comments. But really, tasteless Italian food??? YUCK!!!!
The restaurant was very busy that night with only two wait staff one bus boy and one person in the kitchen. When I made my reservation through Open Table I stated that it was to celebrate our (51st) wedding anniversary. There was no mention or recognition of the event from our waiter or an offer for a celebratory beverage or dessert - which I thought a little odd. Perhaps they were too busy at Farfalla to read comments on your website. Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable dining experience with excellently prepared food.
Enjoyed again eating at Farfalle. Very authentic Italian food at reasonable prices. Highly recommend it!
Food is excellent - service very slow, but that was because Michael (owner/chef) was the only one working in the kitchen. Otherwise, it’s one of our fave places!
When at or near capacity the noise level is so loud. Tables way too close together. Our sever made one mistake after another; have had him before and the same both times. Not good. Food is always good but tonight 3 of 4 meals very under seasoned.
Will try again off season but very surprised as we usually like Farfalla.
