Restaurant was empty, got there at 5pm left at 6pm food was not impressive. I had the seafood special, it was not fresh and both shrimp and crab over cooked, husband had the veal, portions small and veal was dry. What a shame
I love this place. We go at least once a month. The chef is the owner and he keeps his finger on the flow of food and guests. The food is excellent. The wine list is not extensive but there are enough choices except for those for whom wine is the main focus.
Had a great meal again, the food and service is always excellent. Desert was also very good. A must try when in the area.
Service and food were truly outstanding
Service and food was outstanding as always. This is one of my regular places. A must try when in the area.
Great neighborhoid find
Food was incredible. Ambiance was hreat. Chef cane out to make sure the food was good, which it was. Highly recommend!!
Consistent quality always friendly go there as many times as you possibly can
Amazing food in a plaza location. Their food is amazing and really reasonably priced. Coupons appear monthly in the local magazine for an additional $10 off the meal. My husband is not a fan of Italian cuisine but he too loves this place. I go there at least once a month and that for us is a statement of our appreciation of the food. The owner is also the chef and he is there daily, overseeing the food and service. He is definitely hands on. LOVE THIS PLACE!
Delicious steak and salad with excellent service. A hidden gem in Estero. Thank you for a great meal as always
A painful wait to see waiter after being seated but after that it was excellent.
This wonderful restaurant is a rather hidden jewel. We enjoyed the ambiance the minute we walked in. It is not overstated but very inviting. Our server, Elvis, was very knowledgeable, attentive efficient and delightful. He suggested a wonderful veal dish to us and it was fabulously delicious. Having tremendously enjoyed this wonderful restaurant only two nights ago, we have recommended it to many people.
Always a great meal with superb service. Ristorante Farfalla is real culinary experience and we highly recommend it for dining.
Had a wonderful meal and great service. Really perfect place for intimate dining.
A superb evening. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The service was very attentive. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Just moved into the neighborhood and had heard good things about this restaurant.
Unfortunately what we had heard, wasn’t the case.
Our sever was rude and when we complained the hostess told us to get over it...........
Food was bland and overpriced.
We will not return
The food was delicious. The menu and the daily specials gave us an enormous variety of food. Service was excellent and friendly.
Sat us right away. Server had to keep leaving our table, being called away even in the middle of telling us the specials. It took forever to get our food. My pasta had no flavor. The server said to get the lamb chops and have them cooked medium so they would be nice and seared on the outside.....they were not! Overpriced for what we got.. they need more servers or get more organized. The owner chef has had the place for over 20 years, and could use help to get the food out quicker
Great restaurant. Food was unique and delicious. Service was fantastic, and the host made the evening a perfect one.
Decor is semi formal and tidy albeit outdated. Service was prompt, courteous and professional. Wine list is okay depending on your palette. Tuna carpaccio antipasti was distinctly fishy and devoid an appetizing presentation, (this item was removed from our bill without hesitation).
Porcini pappardelle entree was tasty and prepared perfectly al dente. A few more mushrooms would’ve made this petit portion of pasta considerably more enjoyable. My husband ordered the filet which I find noteworthy to mention came pre-sliced. We chose the cheesecake for dessert, our server recommended this touting the dessert as homemade. I’ve never enjoyed a dry and crumbling cheesecake before and I won’t be recommending it. I was rather disappointed in our experience after reading several favorable reviews. Perhaps we caught this place on an “off night” following a bustling high season. Either way it was an unfortunate experience for two locals who LOVE food & wine.
Excellent service; good food.
It's a wonderful restaurant with great service and terrific food. When we come to Florida for a vacation we can't wait to have dinner there.
Delightful evening enjoyed by the everyone xxxxxxxxxxxx
Think about a place with a Swiss-trained Egyptian chef with New Jersey roots running a classic Italian restaurant...that’s Farfalla, it works, and it excels in every way! The menu is enormous with amazing specials as well. The primarily Italian wine list has many value choices. Overall prices were moderate considering the quality served. My wife started with an “upgraded Caesar salad” which added goodies like Gorgonzola and tomatoes to a perfect classic preparation. My special tuna carpaccio was fantastic; familiar but unlike tuna tartare. Melt in your mouth goodness! Our entrees were excellent: my wife’s grouper had a complex preparation that was uniquely wonderful. And I always try a restaurant’s Bolognese sauce and this one was incredible! It was loaded with meat and lacked the usual tomato dominance. Wow! We will be back for sure!
Two of us had absolutely amazing food; however, the other two found their meal very bland and had to add salt, pepper and cheese. Everything else was outstanding.
I feel you should tell customers how much the specials are. I had a half sleeve rider of pasta pomodoro which was excellent but too aldente. I chose the scallop special was not what we expected. There was no taste and the scallops were soggy. The cost of $38.00 was very expensive and I would never have ordered scallops for that price. I am coming back for the pasta pomodora.
Disappointed in the amount of food. My husband ordered veal chops. One chop, small. We shared the dish, so not much. The price was high for 1 chop.
We have always liked our meal at Farfalla, previously
Our best meal while visiting Bonita Springs. Great service, and an enormous menu with everything made to order. My veal was a little undercooked, but everything else was fantastic. Pastas are great. Best tiramisu ever.
What a pleasant surprise! Everything about Farfalla was wonderful!
The food and service are always excellent. Took my brother for the fisrt time and he can't wait to go back again.
Great food, great service & value
Half the dishes were good and the other not so good.
Pasta bolognese was bland and like chopped meet lacking in flavor and sauce.
Veal Borola was quite tender and nice although not a big portion.
Tortellini with cream sauce was really good.
Penne Alla Vodka was also good.
Service was good.
Maybe worth trying again... but if it’s not good the next time, off my list.
Service was fantastic
The entrees and dessert were very good. The appetizer - calamari - was not fresh and very chewy. We returned it and the waitress brought us another one that was a definite improvement. As stated the service, location and ambiance were very good
Three of us had salmon dinners and each of us agreed the fish tasted too fishy. Preparation and presentation were great but the taste and food quality were marginal.
Very enjoyable date night; great food and excellent service and not crazy prices. Definitely going again
Food was superb - very fresh ingredients made to order. If you are in a hurry, go elsewhere because it is cooked to order. Very friendly staff and low noise level. Tables are a little close together but somehow it works. We always go at least once in our month in FL.
Just as good as the last time we were there. I very nice local place to go.
people where very nice and put me in a good mood after eating a delicious pasta!
We had a good meal and enjoyed our experience. Would recommend to our friends.
