Weeknight dinner in comfortable restaurant With a nice staff. Tried a couple different pasta dishes ...disappointed in the bolognese.
The best Italian restaurant in Naples, FL
Ciao never disappoints. It is a favorite. Very good food and you can hear your table conversation!
Very disappointed. Service and food was mediocre at best.
Always a special occasion! Another Valentines Day having a wonderfully romantic meal from Chef Gianfranco. One of our favorite restaurants in Naples.
2 out of 4 entrees were barely warm. 2of us had shrimp scampi and it lacked garlic! Very bland.
We always love Ciao, but this was a small disappointment. Valentine’s Day , plus we were observing abstaining from meat as it was Ash Wednesday. There were many meatless options on the menu, so I chose Lobster ravioli. The menu described it as stuffed with lobster “with lobster on top”,so for $32 I was expecting lobster on top and there was none. So, I really couldn’t justify $32 for a pasta dish, although it did have lobster in it.
We brought friends to Caio for their first time, and they loved it! We will all be back!
Service by Julian was outstanding. The waitstaff are all very friendly, and very fine.
Hate to leave this, as my wife and I were looking forward to a place we have never been. Bad drinks, tasteless food, makeover needed badly. Besides that, everything was fine. There are too many nice places in Naples to ever return here.
Food, ambiance, atmosphere, and service were all high quality. Nice experience.
Very nice decor, everything we asked for (window seating, in corner. A good place foe business meeting. Both pasta dishes were bland. Chef try some salt or spice.
Group of six and we had a nice round table. Good wine. Asked for a dish that was not on the menu, spicy bolognese over pasta, for two of us. Delicious!
The burrata appetizer is excellent as are the pastas. The service both times we went was top notch. It’s a great value on Monday nights when they offer 1/2 price pastas.
Lovely authentic italian dining. The veal is so tender. And it is veal not fake like some other Naples overpriced restaurant claims. Tenderly cooked to perfection, not deep fried. The extra parking is a +++.
There was virtually no taste to any of the four meals . we couldn’t salt and pepper the entrees enough. very expensive for a bad meal. think nursing home food
We love coming here and sharing this restaurant with friends:)
Ciao has the best calves liver I've ever had. Excellent early bird menu as well as regular menu. Great service and quiet so you can have a conversation. This is a gem that is one block off 5th Ave.
Everyone loved their meal! Service was great! Will come back for sure!
We continue to love this restaurant because of the food- service and ambiance.
Always good. Favorite little Italian restaurant downtown.
On our first experience with Ristorante-Ciao we were given a great table in the corner for the two of us, very nice. The food was excellent but our waitress, Natalie, really made the dinner very enjoyable. She was such a professional in explaining our options and her service was outstanding. This is a well run restaurant, highly recommend!
Wow what a great dining experience! Ciao is our favorite restaurant to go to when in Naples. The authentic Italian food is always a pleasure. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. We look forward to our next dinner at Ciao!
First visit. Outstanding quality food. Quite expensive .
Joan, Carol and Gianfranco do a great job paying attention to your needs, requests and making you feel comfortable and satisfied.
My husband and I found this restaurant and what a find! We arrived early but got seated early—enjoyed cocktails and then our meal and wine was fabulous! Our waitress Anca was the best!
We will be back!
Calamari was terrible And my husband was supposed to have Linguine instead he got Fettucine with clam sauce Food was just so so
Always enjoy the experience. Quiet and intimate. Natalie is great.
Very disappointing experience. The dining room was outdated, too much sauce on the food, fish was tough and rubbery
We absolutely LOVE Ciao! It's our very favorite and Natalie is an outstanding server. We'll be back soon and bring friends!
This was my first time dining at this restaurant, however, the couple who joined us raved about other occasions when they had dined there. I had the Osso Buco and was very pleased. My husband loved the grouper picante—authentic Italian cuisine.
