Parking options are plentiful for diners at Ciao. We have a parking directly behind the restaurant for approximately 20 cars. There is street parking right in front of the restaurant, a municipal parking lot across the street, as well as a 3 story parking garage on the corner of 4th Ave. S and 8th Street S. All parking is free.

My wife and I went on the Wednesday 1/2 price pasta night. As with other times we have gone, the pasts was fantastic and VERY reasonably priced. I would recommend it for anyone that wants fresh pasta at a great price, in a very nice restaurant.

We are frequent diners at Ciao...love it. The staff is friendly, always welcomes everyone with a smile, and all do their best to make each dining experience special. Hostess Joan greets all regulars by name, and the waitstaff; Julian, Natalie, and all others go out of their way to please .

While the food tasted good, my wife's dish came with a hair in it. While the staff was very apologetic and a new dish was prepared and served, no one offered to comp the meal or even the dessert. For a restaurant that charges $25+ for a pasta dish, this is sad.
Excellent Italian restaurant in downtown Naples. We had the butternut squash ravioli and the shrimp risotto dishes and both were outstanding. The people that work there were so friendly including the chef who came around to each table to check on our dinner
My wife and I like Ciao very much. Not only is the food good but the atmosphere is quiet which allows for good conversation. We had been a little critical after our last visit. However, this time all was well and back to normal with excellent food and service. We both had the calf's liver from the summer menu. It was perfectly done with good sides and salad. The bottle of red wine which was included with the summer menu was also very good. We were pleased to know that Ciao does read these reviews and gives them serious consideration.
We were a group of 5. We go to Ciao quite often. The summer menu is very good and reasonable. However, this time not so good. There were several large groups and the wait staff seemed very confused. We had to search out for various items. I had the basso almondino which was very good. My wife had the calves liver. It was over cooked and cold.
Location is great, and service was good. Clean inside too. We expected a larger menu of options. The lobster bisque had zero lobster to be found. The wine was good. The dinner was just okay. We both felt it lacked flavor and were disappointed that we were both served the same vegetables with our meal. There were no additional sides or choices etc. Over priced for what they are serving.
Food was excellent, they were running summer specials and the choices were great.
Staff was very attentive, we were thrilled that the chef even greeted us.
I cannot review the wine because I am not a wine drinker, but others at our table were very happy with the choice. I had chicken marsala which was excellent, and served with fresh sauteed veggies and potato. Delicious.
This restaurant serves genuine Italian food with an Italian chef who recreates recipes from his grandmother. The receptionist Joan, a former Michigander and a septuagenarian, works out of love for this elegant restaurant. She is welcoming and delightful. Try Wednesday night between 4:30 and 6:00 when the pasta is half off and all glasses of wine (not just the house wine) are half-off. Or opt for the early dining menu (4:30-5:30) on Monday through Thursday and get a bottle of Italian wine, an appetizer, and an entree for $25.00. My husband loved the manicotti. I loved the vodka chicken pasta--very tasty.
We had visiting friends and went to dinner at Ciao because we knew the food was good and the atmosphere was quiet which allowed for talking and the summer special menu represented a good bargain. Two of us had the calf's liver and 2 had the chicken marsala. Both dishes were exceptional. We did have desserts which were also specially priced - Excellent. The wine which was included was extremely good. Service was outstanding. A very good experience.
We have been affiandos of CIAO for over 16 years. Off of busy 5 th Ave. Never disappoints. Chef goes out of his way to please. He will circulate after to inquire about the food. This last time we brought friends who had never been there. I and one of our friends had the Veal Milanese. Outstanding. It was so tender we could cut it easily with a table knife, although we were given steak knives. Neither of us used them. My husband asked for a meal that is no longer on the evening menu "Pasta Cortona"
The chef graciously produced this tasty dish of pasta with vegetables on request. Great dinner. Good wine values. Of course we'll be back again soon.
My wife and I have a "new find" in Naples even though this fabulous restaurant has been around 30 years. This is about authentic as it gets. She had a fish that was tender and flavored well. I had the best veal parm of life. Portions are above average and service was excellent. Ask for Natalie. Ristorante Ciao was a wonderful ending to our season in Naples!
only complaint we had was the appetizers were skimpy. We had grilled octopus and baby artichokes. Delicious but much too skimpy - it was more like half portions for the money they charged . They have to improve on their appetizer portions. entrees were plentiful
