Chef made some off-menu carbonara for my wife and I’m really not exaggerating when i say it was the best pasta dish I’ve ever had. I wish i could remember the guy’s name who waited on us, he was a true pro. A 10/10 experience on our first visit to Greenville SC.

Best Northern Italian meals in Greenville… pasta dishes, veal, fish. Great staff.. they want to ensure you have a fantastic experience. Make room for a homeade dessert! Love their limoncello!

We really liked this restaurant but I was so looking forward to the liver pate and as the first reservation of the evening, they were out of the pate. Very disappointed The rest I'll begin you're wasting wonderful

Another superb meal with attention to detail in every course. Not one of our four dishes was anything less than delicious. Some of the finest Italian cuisine I’ve eaten anywhere.

We had a fabulous meal. I had veal and it was prepared just right. My sister had pasta and it was to die for. The octopus appetizer was tender and not chewy. I’m not a dessert eater usually, but my sister and I split one. It was off the charts delicious. I wish I could remember exactly what it was, but the menus change daily. I highly recommend Ristorante Bergamo if you find yourself in GVille.

This is an excellent Italian themed restaurant in the heart of downtown Greenville. It was a large menu of carefully selected entrees by its chef/owner. I highly recommend this establishment.

When it comes to downtown Greenville, I would put Jianna and Giorgio over Ristorante Bergamo. However, it was a nice experience. A few moments when server would seemingly disappear for extended periods. No fresh black pepper or fresh Parmesan offered the entire night. All this said the food was still very good.

The food was very good, but the waiter was the most impersonal fellow we have encountered in over thirty years of dining in downtown Greenville. We ordered wine, salad/soup, and entrees, so we weren't being cheap. He engaged with the party next to us, but was slightly above rude to our party of three. I would warn of him by name...but he didn't even give us that. I put myself through college by waiting tables; I am sensitive to the difficulty of the job (and thus tend to leave a good tip, as I did with this fellow). He was efficient, but totally impersonal and did not make us feel at all welcome. Oh, we also had reservations and wore nice clothing. Still wondering what was up with him...

The food was just decent. I’ve been in the restaurant before with the last owners and it was much better. Service was fantastic though, but it’s just hard to pay for some thing. If it’s not excellent quality there’s just so many good restaurants out there.

We had a lovely experience! The food was incredible, the environment was lovely, and the attention to detail was fantastic! I had included my husband's birthday in the reservation and they brought us champagne to celebrate! We will definitely be back!

Loved the ambience and the food. We loved seeing the chef talking to the patrons. Definitely a must visit in GVL for Italian. Every dish was outstanding, we left with a very satisfied feeling, happy tummy :)
