There are many waiters but nobody is really noticing about our table. Nobody came to ask how is the food and nobody is coming to refill the water.
Thanks for an amazing night !
One of the best meals we’ve had in Montreal in years. Good vibe too.
Food was outstanding!
Delicious food, good ambience and the service was great. The setting was cosy and pretty. I will surely go back!
We had a great lunch. They have a 3 coarse lunch menu very well thought out, presented and delicious! Not to mention the home made focaccia breads... 2 or 3 appetizer choices, 3 to 5 main dishes , fish, pasta a meat dish or two & a nice little dessert to end the meal.
Attentive friendly and polite servers to add to the experience.
love coming here for the delicious Italian food. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful one of Montreal’s prettiest. It’s great for big groups or a date night. They host weddings and private parties. The food is consistently great.
It should be interesting to send this survey in french also
Overall disappointed, and had a very confusing experience. It was a mix of really bad and really good. When I entered, there was no hostess to greet me. I had to walk around looking for someone to seat me. We were there for a bday and as requested, we had a nice table located right by the window. The service from the waiters was excellent. Sometimes, we even had 3 waiters serving us. I was impressed. The appetizers were good, and if you chose pasta as a main, that was good too. But the veal was tough and had a funny smell, taste, and odd presentation. Unfortunately, it was the bday person who ordered this. The swordfish and tuna were edible but not very good. There's no point having non-pasta dishes on the menu if they are not going to be any good. I believe it was the manager who came to see us right away and changed the veal for a pasta dish. We were not charged for the veal nor the replacement dish, and we were given free dessert for the whole table, which was the right thing to do.
Amazing food and service. Such a nice ambiance on the terrasse! Definitely recommend
The food was good but so very overpriced as well as the wine list. Much better restaurants in Montreal for the same quality. We eat out all the time and would not go back to this restaurant.
This was my first visit to Beatrice and it did not disappoint - a busy friday night, full of atmosphere- the indoor terrace/bar area is the place to be. Food was outstanding as was the service. We found our new favorite spot downtown.
Amazing food great waiters!!! This place is consistent. Always a pleasure to dine there !
Beautiful restaurant, excellent service, delicious food!
Superb dinner. Service truly amazing!!
C'est toujours un plaisir d'aller chez Béatrice, la nourriture est simplement délicieuse! Le décor est très romantique, un de mes restos préfères a mtl!
Nice outdoor dining space with retractable roof. Really fine Italian food, fish, and steaks, with excellent wine list, but you will pay for it.
Slow and inattentive service. Great food though.
One of these places where what you will eat will get tattooed into your permanent memory storage lane, marked as "exceptional", both for taste and setting.
Just superb.
The Beatrice is everything you seek for a special evening out. The restaurant is simply perfect in every way. We enjoyed splitting appetizers, our meals were delicious and the service could not be better. The open ceiling in the main dining room adds a very special touch. Easily one of Montreal's very best.
One of our finest dining experience. We were in Montreal with our 2 teenagers and had dinner at Beatrice (on the terrace) on 4th of July. The food was exceptional, the service was attentive and friendly and the ambience was wonderful. Would recommend it highly in particular to tourists who don't like touristy places.
Te food is amazing. The space is well decorated, really nice for a special occasion. A little noisy because it's busy but overall great experience!
Very crowded Grand Prix weekend but the staff did an excellent job accommodating everyone without sacrificing quality or the experience.
This was the perfect place for a two-family celebration. The food and wine were delicious, two stand-out pasta dishes, one seafood and one veal, impressed even our Italian friends! It's a small thing, because service was quite good overall, but for some reason there were a lot of splashes and sloshes on water-glass and even wine-glass refilling. Aside from that, excellent all the way around.
Went with a group of 3 other people. The ambiance was great and the lunch menu had a wide variety to choose from - in fact all 4 of us had a different meal - and we were all very satisfied. The service was slow and our waiter was cold and not knowledgable about the menu when asked questions. Overall a very good experience. If you're looking for a place to go for a business lunch or special occasion, this is one of the best options in downtown Montreal.
Great downtown restaurant! Not outstanding, but good value. Food is always good and the service courteous. However, I do not recommend going on Mondays as the service does not seem to be as efficient and the quality of the dishes substandard.
Always great
This is always a wonderful dining experience but we don't go too often because of the prices. I was pleasantly surprised to see a great table d'hôte with good prices. I'll definitely eat here more often as a result, even though the waiter seemed a little disappointed that he wasn't getting a big tip from a big bill.
Absolutely spectacular meal. Would highly recommend for a date or dinner with friends.
Always excellent in every way. Incredible service. stunning in any season, superb food. Maybe I sound like a relative?? I'm not! I just really think that Beatrice is one of the best restaurants in Montreal. Fun too. Always a nice crowd. You will not be sitting in an empty restaurant! NOT inexpensive but still very, very good value considering the positive experience!
The service was incredible and the ambience is just simply superb. Great selection of different dishes and delectable desserts.
It was our anniversary and we always like to go to an upscale restaurant to celebrate. Friends encouraged us to go to Beatrice - a restaurant we knew and liked back when it operated under its previous name. The lighting, ambiance and spaciousness between tables made it an excellent choice. The service was especially attentive without being obtrusive. The food was also the excellent. I had the carpaccio of beef to start and my wife, the tartar of salmon - both great. For our mains, I had the lobster pasta with tarragon which was delicious and my wife, a shrimp pasta accompanied with peas and mint, "to die for". For dessert we shared two small canollis and a piece of salted butterscotch ice cream and cake, also to die for. The surprise was our waiter, Nick, worked with our son many years ago and they still remember each other well. This only came to light later in the evening and we are certain that Nick treats all his customers as graciously as he did us. We shall return.
I was very impressed with the food, cocktails and cocktail menu. The ambiance was great. The restaurants is stunning. The service was amazing. The whole experience was great. Can't wait to go back for another great evening.
This is the third time I’ve been here in a couple of months. We come back because the fish and desserts are really good, we like the 4 season “terrace” and the service is normally very friendly. This time the experience fell short because of the service:
1)I booked through OpenTable, and told them it was my mother’s birthday and requested some acknowledgement of that. None was forthcoming, although we paid extra to get a cake for dessert (not included on the table d’hote).
2)Although my mother (who is in her 80’s) spoke English to the waiter, he continued to speak in French. I had to ask him to switch telling him we can speak French but she can't). He responded by saying to her in French “that’s OK.” ☹ He also had a condescending manner.
3)We ordered a bottle of wine, and when we had only drunk 3 glasses, another waiter came along and took all of our empty glasses away (our regular waiter had not refilled them.) I was surprised the bottle was empty so fast so I took it out of the nearby bucket to discover there was a glass left. :-(
Because we’ve been here before and had friendly waiters, lovely atmosphere, and good food experiences (the halibut and frozen lemon dessert are two favourites), I plan to try again, but if this is a new approach to service, I would not recommend it anymore.
It was an amazing ambiance, very good food. The best tuna tartar ever. The servers were very attentive to us and what an amazing four-season terrace.
Excellent as always. My favourite lunchtime restaurant. Food always good and a different menu all the time. Beautifully prepared, unusual combinations but always delicious.
I've been there at least 4 times for lunch. Their lunch menu is amazing, the presentation is neat and the staff+manager deserves praise.
Also kudos to the owners/designers for the modern design and considering giving enough space between each tables! These are so hard to find among even the best restaurants in Montreal.
Lunch menu keeps changing but I always choose something with the veal if available.
Beatrice delivered on a pleasant lunch with great service and a surprisingly good value for lunch.
amazing food and would definitely go back - the tartar was very fresh and tasty
excellent service
Nice ambiance and great service.
The breaded veal was 1 mm thick and tasteless. Definitely not worth the price. The salmon tartar was very tasty.
The filet mignon was fair, the octopus was mediocre.
Hard to justify a second visit.
